Hello, since I have updated to version 8.7 of the theme my internal wordpress is super slow, if I go back to 8.6 this does not happen. I have tried cache parameters and nothing.
I tried to update by Envato and FTP and everything is the same, still super slow, someone else happens?
The envato way is causing problem for most people. Just learn to use ftp or the cpanel https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Hello, I have problems too. I uploaded the last version of the template trough FTP but when I wan to install the plugins (Newspaper>Plugins>TagDivComposer) the download fails (header not correct)
hi, I have all the plugins disabled (I use a copy in staging) I can see the site but not the admin part and “edit with TD Composer”. if I delete the plugin via ftp, I can enter admin
if I install the plugin from the theme, I get this error (all plugins disabled, no cdn)
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method vc_row::set_font_settings() in /home/webhos13/staging/1/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/tdc_composer_block.php:36 Stack trace: #0 /home/webhos13/staging/1/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/shortcodes/vc_row.php(85): tdc_composer_block->render(Array) #1 /home/webhos13/staging/1/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_global_blocks.php(28): vc_row->render(Array, ‘[vc_column widt…’) #2 /home/webhos13/staging/1/wp-includes/shortcodes.php(319): td_global_blocks::proxy_function(”, ‘[vc_column widt…’, ‘vc_row’) #3 [internal function]: do_shortcode_tag(Array) #4 /home/webhos13/staging/1/wp-includes/shortcodes.php(197): preg_replace_callback(‘/\\[(\\[?)(vc_row…’, ‘do_shortcode_ta…’, ‘[vc_row][vc_col…’) #5 /home/webhos13/staging/1/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(286): do_shortcode(‘[vc_row][vc_col…’) #6 /home/webhos13/staging/1/wp-includes/plugin.php(203): WP_Hook->apply_filters(‘[vc_row][vc_col…’, Array) #7 /home/webhos13/staging/1/wp-inclu in /home/webhos13/staging/1/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/tdc_composer_block.php on line 36

None of my posts are appearing after the theme update [manually updated using FTP]
I’ve disabled the tagdiv composer, but still, I couldn’t see my posts. They are all appearing blank like this – http://prntscr.com/ifpe0l [Can’t scroll down]
If I disabled the theme, everything is working fine. Any help on this?
Same, when i want to insert image in post, get this error:
POST http://backapalankavesti.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php 404 (Not Found)
How i can disable Weather Widget via FTP? Which file contains it?

Thank you, but everything is correct in the FTP and the plugins are the one that came with the 8.7 version and now the rows and columns behaviour is different so can you please provide me a link where I can download the 8.5 version?
Thanks.

Hello Chief Nation,
Notice that update does not affect any padding and margins, sorry! Before each update, most important is to make a full backup to your database to avoid losing all of your data. Make sure that you have correctly installed the theme via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. Try to recreate your homepage and check the results and also, very important is to use the exact plugin version which come bundled with the theme core files.
Thanks for the message!
@dailyfemme I would suggest a theme reinstall, there are still some javascript errors in the page. There are no errors on a default theme install or such unusual issues. Reinstall the theme by FTP
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Then check if the problem is solved. If it is not, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information. We will take a look. Also paste a link to this topic in the email.
@thebestprogrammerintheworld From what I see there is no problem accessing the mobile menu

The theme and mobile theme plugin are compatible with super cache, there should not be any issues when using them.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,
I have inspected your website and it seems to be very strange that border. I do not know the source of it, sorry! I suggest you make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way with the latest version of the theme, clear all the caches, purge all CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results. By default, notice that orders do not appear, sorry! As a quick solution, you can try using the code below ->
.td-container-border:after{
background-color:initial;
}
.td-pb-row .td-pb-span4:nth-of-type(3):after{
background-color:initial;
}
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
First please reinstall the theme (by FTP is recommended)
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Update all theme plugins, the composer and multi-purpose plugins are now version 2.0. Deactivate all other plugins and child theme if used. Clear all caching installed and CDN files if used.
Contact your hosting provider and check with them if there are any issues with the server. Ask them to check error logs and investigate as well if possible.
If there is still an issue, it may not be caused by the theme. You can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information. Provide FTP access as well. Also included a link to this topic in the email.
Provide more details about the issue in the email, this will be helpful in the investigation. We cannot recreate such issues in any of our testing, there is no similar problem for most users who have updated the theme.
Thanks

Here is the guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-theme/ or https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ . But the best way is to update via either Cpanel or FTP https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ .
@kwacha If you could contact us by email at contact@tagdiv.com we will investigate. Make sure both tagDiv composer and multi-purpose plugins are updated. They are now version 2.0

Sorry for this inconvenience, there should be no problem after updating to the latest theme version as long at is made properly (FTP recommended) and theme plugins are updated. Problems can be caused by third party plugins or maybe child themes (switch to main theme if you use one).
Please also include a link to this topic in the email.
Hello stax,
I suggest you make a new clean install from scratch with the latest version of the theme via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. We recommend using the TD Composer which is our page builder. Also, check your system status parameters to be increased according to our useful guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Jhalla436,
Please keep in mind that WP Bakery plugin has been fully tested on my website and it seems to work as expected, without any problems. I suggest you to make a new clean install from scratch to another sub-domain via FTP way, leave just to active only the Visual Composer and try again to drag and drop your desired elements from page builder. Should work because this was fully tested. Clear all the caches and check the results. If the problem will persist, you should provide some useful screenshots with the problem. Also, ensure that your system status parameters are increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello svharishtech,
This problem seems happens due to a memory cache. Try to clear all of these, purge all CDN files if you are using something like this, clear browser caches and check the results. Make sure that your theme has been installed via FTP way and if you are using some untested plugins which can interact with them core files, try to remove all of these.
Hope this helps!

After upgrade to Newspaper 8.7 (via ftp) & deactivate & delete tagdiv composer 1.0 and install tagdiv composer 2.0 everything is very slow at backend, for logged in users (30-45 seconds to switch between WP menus: posts, all posts, create post, pages, media, etc).
System status = all green
Plugin installed = tagdivcomposer & social counter
WPSuper Cache = activated / deactivated the same situation.
Server resources = dedicated server, very powerful, well optimized
If I deactivate tagdiv composer 2.0 the backend (switch between WP menus) speed back to normal.
Have anyone this issue?
Solution?
@StephenLieu no. You will just have to delete the newspaper theme 8.6 and install the 8.7 plus the plugins it comes with (td composer has been updated). But remember to back up your site before updating. @luchtzak ftp is the best way, but for me, I have access to my cpanel, so I usually just upload the theme directly into the theme folder and extract it from there without having to connect via ftp.
Just purchased the 8.6 theme and got a notice that the 8.7 is available. If i update, would i need to go through the whole process again through ftp, installing demo, and configuring it all over again or is there an easier way?
Would you recommend a ftp upload over a automatic update via wp-admin panel ?
There are many solutions provided in here already. Deactivate and delete the td composer and install the one that came with the new theme. For future updates, it is better to update the theme via FTP https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ .
I thought you said you updated to version 8.7? Install the version 8.7 you downloaded from envato via your cpanel (ftp). Then deactivate and delete the td composer plugin and install the one that is inside the version 8.7 theme in Newspaper>Plugins. That should solve your problem.
