Hello GoingFor2,
Sorry by this warning I guess that happen due to your untested plugins if you are using, PHP version or any other additional customizations because our default theme behavior does not return these warnings, sorry! Check your PHP version to be older than 7.1, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, if the problem is still there, please try making a new clean install from scratch, via FTP way and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello AMW,
Please follow the FTP theme installation method because this is the surest theme method and check the results. Disable all of the untested plugins and see how it will work.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello RadCon,
Please keep in mind that I can only provide you just technical support for our theme and cannot provide any service implementation for untested plugins, sorry! Unfortunately, we do not have a plugin for backup because we make this only via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case and encourage our clients to use this method. Sorry, but we do not have bought this plugin and we do not have any plan for this, sorry! If our theme is not compatible with this plugin and if you feel that our product does not fit to your project, please let us know and we will give a refund, sorry! Also, notice that we have nothing against if your team wants to adjust our theme with this plugin. You are free to do that!
Thanks for your understanding!
The better way is update theme via ftp.
Don’t forget about backups.
In brief – manually delete folder Newspaper with old theme from hosting then copy archive with new theme on same place (sorry for my poor English), then extract it there.
I hope official documentation you have read: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
> but will i loose my settings such as colors, filtering etc.?
Upd. No, your settings will not be lost.

Hi,
There seem to be many errors on the website at the moment
– https://www.screencast.com/t/sGKJ3rNhr
A suggestion would be to make a clean install by FTP
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Deactivate all plugins except theme provided plugins, clear all caching. Remove or check any custom code in the theme panel. Do not modify any of the theme files. If you use a child theme, deactivate it as well.
Check the theme system status and these parameters
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Basically these are the theme requirements along with the mentioned parameters
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
The theme and theme plugins should work properly under these circumstances.
Thanks
Hello manuovi,
Try to make a new clean install from scratch without that untested plugin via FTP way according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Hope this helps!

Read carefully (!!!) this manual (there are all described in detail): How to update the theme
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Also section A. Update the theme via FTP
DUPLICATOR plugin is best way; I’ve used this last year when I wanted to change the name of a site from really long URL to shorter site name; was awesome as it not only moved all the dbase stuff properly, settings, etc., but images, folders, permissions, and went in and changed the site name throughout everywhere. Really brilliant thing there.
The WP export/import doens’t work on large sites and/or oooold sites that started with WP 1.5 like ours did (!). You can try export of the MySQL dbase, then setup blank site at new location and import the old dbase to move all the content properly, then FTP image from one location to another (takes forever).
Alternately, good hosting companies that use Plesk or Cpanel have ‘site move/migrate’ scripts to move entire site from one hosting company to another — which your host could do for you.
Hello barronlau,
Sorry for this but please notice that way of theme installing is not a stable one and could appear some problems with installing the theme, sorry! Please use the FTP method because this is the surest theme’s method.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
I have always written custom CSS codes from the “Theme panel” so I never edited the actual file (style.css) using FTP.
Now I checked the file and found that there is no codes at all in style.css…
I am using a child theme so I even checked the parent theme’s style.css but there isn’t any codes that I wrote from the Theme panel…
How can I locate the file which contains the custom CSS codes that I wrote??

Hi, you might want to read the docs here on how to install theme
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Hi,
The website could have security problems, if the code simply appears in the theme functions file without you entering it there. Please follow the suggestions from this topic concerning security
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-good-basic-security-practices/
– https://codex.wordpress.org/Hardening_WordPress
Scan the website and database for malware using suggested methods. If you have a child theme, disable it. Deactivate all plugins and re-install the theme by FTP
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Then install only the plugins form the official theme package. Do not use any custom code in the theme panel sections, or directly in the theme files. Install security plugins that can help in these situations.
Thanks

Hi,
The Social counter is a plugin created specially for the theme, it cannot be a matter of incompatibility between them.
Check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary contact the hosting provider and they might do it for you
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
The theme requirements are mentioned here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Please re-install the theme by FTP
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Deactivate all other plugins except theme plugins (re-install theme plugins as well), do not modify anything in the theme files, or add custom code. Deactivate the child theme is you use one.
If there is still a problem please ask your hosting provider for the error logs possibly created, and explain the situation to them. They could be able to identify the exact cause.
Please let us know the results.
Thanks
Hello bwredesign,
This error seems to come from your untested plugins which you are using on your side, sorry! I have checked your source page and I saw that you have some js errors which seems to come from that reason. Also, you should update the theme to the latest version of it via FTP way and check the results. Before this, you should check the PHP version to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/

Hello,
I have reinspected your website and I saw the problem with your sidebar on the post pages. Notice that error does not come from our theme if it is right used, without any untested plugins and without any customizations. Try to disable all of the untested plugins, if you are using something like this, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, if the issues are still there, try to make a new clean install to another subdomain via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results.
