Hello,
@lazuardi please use this guide to install the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/ or https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
@elitecolumn it is best practive to create your own topic and not post a different question in siomeone else’s topic 🙂 just a reminder.
You can use an author card as this guide shows: https://forum.tagdiv.com/author-card/
If you want to activate a profile picture in the post next to the author however, you will have to add it through customization as there is no option for this in our theme. Here is an example: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/small-author-image-just-before-the-author-name-after-the-title-of-the-post/
Thank you!
Hello Anna,
If I do not have your website for a closer look, notice that I cannot provide a more accurate response. Please try to disable all the untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. It is possible that all of these to interact with the theme core file and break the responsiveness of the theme. After this, if the problem is still there, please make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard, clear all your, purge CDN files and check the results. For more information about FTP way, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
Please only use the visual composer version that comes with the theme. Please disable the plugin and delete it from the plugins section and then install it again from here: http://screencast.com/t/PtNqOuhl
If the error is still there, then access your files via ftp and delete visual composer (js composer) from your plugins folder and then try to install again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hello mdegnan,
Please try to make a new fresh install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest way in this regard. After this, if the problem is still there, please provide your website URL so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for your understanding!

Newspaper Theme – Suddenly I cannot upload images, quick edit does not work, edit permalink in a post does not work. I had uploaded more than 20 images and now they aren’t there or I can’t see them. When I try to upload a new image, it does nothing. I used ftp and deleted the theme. Used ftp and uploaded the theme. Nothing changed… problems still exist. What do I do now?
Best solution how to install plugins is unzip plugin and upload it to the plugin folder in your wordpress installation. After complete upload you can active plugin. I have not such problem with Visual composer when I upload it by FTP.
Best regards
Jan Dudek

To be safe, you should make a full backup to your database and then switch the theme to a default one, remove the old version from your side and install a new one which you have downloaded from Theme Forest via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. Hello Berbi,
I have checked your console and I noticed that you have a lot of js errors as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/62bPU9cOLZcy Also, I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause these errors. Please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual cOmposer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, if the problem is still there, please make a new clean install via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. Notice that the smart sidebar is a sensible functionality of sidebar and if you will have some interferences between JavaScript code, this will not work and that’s why it is very important to rule out all your untested plugins which might cause these errors from your console.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hi,
I’m trying to install Newspaper via WordPress. But uploading the Newspaper.zip file gives the error message, “Are you sure you want to do this? Try again.”
The WordPress installation does not have any plugins. iThemes Security was installed, but deleted in case it was causing the error.
I can’t easily access FTP to upload that way.
How can this be fixed? I’ve spent half a day on this issue so far.
Thanks, Ozzy
Hello Kundurnews,
The theme update should not influence your theme structure, sorry! Do you update your theme via FTP way? I have checked on my side and the theme seems to work as properly and also, the mobile theme, as well. Try to revert the theme to the default state, without using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme packet and cause a lot of unknown issues. I have checked your theme console and I noticed that you have some errors through it which come from your theme customizations, sorry! You should get rid of them and then check the results. If the problem is still there, you should make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and check the results. By default, the theme works as properly and it is mobile friendly.
