Block header template 6 was used because it would be easier to customize it like this. You can use a code like this to set a background image of your choosing for it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/hb383i2M
This is the code, use the image you wish in it then enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS
.td_block_template_6 .td-block-title {
text-align: center;
background: url("https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_craft_ideas/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/header-bg.png");
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-size: auto 100%;
background-position: center center;
}
.td_block_template_6 .td-block-title:before {
display: none;
}
hello,
is there a way to get support of gif and streamed video (youtube, viemo, generic, etc..) with all headers/blocks thumbmails ?
is it a feature coming one day ?
I have popup Ajax modal image and the image goes under the menu header news theme and dose not show image correctly . How do I show the image above the header and the menu.
Hi,
Can you give me a tip about customizing parralax effect amplitude on headers as well as custom background with parallax option enabled ?
Best,
Hi!
I added a custom ad code to the Header ad in the theme panel and it worked from the start. But I would also like to add a custom ad code to the sidebar or one of the the custom ad sections but it won’t show any ads! I tried with a simple link and image or just with text. I tried with and without the wrapper <div class=”td-all-devices”>..</div>. And also with the the disable boxes but no result.
I’m guessing it thinks that the ads are google adsense even if it’s not. When I inspect the sidebar ad code on the page where it should show up I can see something like this <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display: inline-block; width: 300px;....
For example on this page, wou can see the blue header ad but the sidebar ad won’t show.

Am I missing something?
So that area is blank.
Let me be a bit more specific.. where can I find this class from the template?
.td-header-sp-logo
It’s in the CSS file and raw HTML between style tags.
Also, assuming this isn’t a plugin, where can I find the code for banner ads that appear right below a featured image in a template?
Hi,
In our theme the login is displayed in the top bar, like this
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/login-how-to-enable-user-registration/
At the moment there is no setting to display it in the main header menu. There will be a modal widow that opens, in which users can login or register. The base functionality is the WordPress default, theme only ads some styling.
Thanks
Hi,
That would not be possible unfortunately, those buttons belong to the page content. So they will only be displayed in the respective page.
In the header section menus can be set in the top bar or main menu. So two menus are possible.
Thanks
@Simion Tried to apply mentioned updates to instagram widget/footer but it broke functionality in footer completely. After applying and clearing cache it shows only header, no pictures in footer. Tried to temporarily add widget to see if it is affected too, same situation. Shows only header, telling there are 0 followers and no pictures at all.
Had to revert changes and restore old 8.7.2 version – it shows outdated content, but at least works somehow. Please fix this. Thanks!

Hi,
There are size requirements for most header styles, but header styles 9, 10 and 11 do not have a requirement, you can set any size you want as logo. An example would be this demo that uses header style 10 and a big logo
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_cars/
Simply make sure you upload the desired logo in full size
– https://www.screencast.com/t/graHsimAEo
– https://www.screencast.com/t/E0hQhKRetA
Thanks
Hi,
A general width settings does not exist in the theme, if you want full width results on pages you can use full grids, there are 10 grid types
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/
Or you can stretch rows
– https://www.screencast.com/t/wiMV4qXJ3J
Note that if you have a background image or color set, the website will be boxed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-introduction/
Header and footer sections can be stretched as well
– https://www.screencast.com/t/XKlewIWHYf4
Thanks
All the header styles have a white background by default, set here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/O4vBz904YPl
The top menu black background color is set here (in the plugin not theme)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/QEHlSCbf50
The black color of the menu items is set here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/QyjfkWMXZI
The hover color or line displayed below the menu items when hovered is here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/8NQxEFtsNx
Let me know if you need more help with this.
You could install the demo and then simply replace the image used by it with your own. Or you could set the image without installing the demo.
Because you are using multiple block header styles this will require a code for each block template used, a general one will not work. For example the crafts demo uses block header template 6 and a general code for all the title backgrounds, it is easier that way.
Hello, i’ve just updated to the latest version and while using the Composer (also updated), it shows this text in Element Settings:
separator – text_separator
separator – text_separator
separator – text_separator
f_header_font_header – font_header
f_header_font_title – font_title
f_header_font_reset – font_reset
f_header_font_family – dropdown-responsive
f_header_font_size – textfield-responsive
f_header_font_line_height – textfield-responsive
f_header_font_style – dropdown-responsive
f_header_font_weight – dropdown-responsive
f_header_font_transform – dropdown-responsive
You could add a plugin like this https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/ and paste the code in one of the fields.
However, I recommend not using the auto ads feature on complex designs especially on homepages I find it to cause a lot of trouble with sticking advertisements in weird places and distorting the design.
hello, a line of code appeared under my footer.
“@media (max-width: 767px) {. td-header-wrap {display: none;}}”
I can not delete it, can you help me? Thank you
Website: http://www.ludorioli.com
Thanks. I understand that. I guess what I’m wondering is why is this theme so much skinnier than most others?
I had 40 people review my site, and 11 of them commented on it being too skinny on their resolutions.
BTW, I worked with a dev and came up with this. It works pretty well. Perhaps you could look at it, modify it, and consider it for future releases?
@media only screen and (min-width: 1500px) {
.td-boxed-layout .td-container-wrap, .td-boxed-layout .td-header-menu-wrap.td-affix {
width: calc(100% - 200px) !important;
}
.td-container, .tdc-row {
width: calc(100% - 100px) !important;
}
.td-ss-main-sidebar {
width: 400px !important;
}
}
@media only screen and (min-width: 1900px) {
.td-ss-main-sidebar {
width: 500px !important;
}
}

Hi,
The header has options to set a top bar (containing a menu, socials etc) a main header menu, a logo and a banner (advertisement). There are multiple header styles to choose from, each with a different design
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
If these are not sufficient for you, and you want to do something in addition please provide some more details and I will try to help you if possible. It may require modifications to the header template files of the theme.
Thanks
Hello,
Please use this guide for the first issue: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
for the second issue please change the global headers template: https://www.screencast.com/t/6qZEBwMm5o
Thank you!
Hi,
Indeed some settings are only available with the tagDiv composer. The background title is not available in Visual composer unfortunately. You could use the general headers background color setting (ant text if needed), it will apply to block titles as well
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ye6h8COhg
Thanks
you had helped me before with same issue but with a different header , —>https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/hello-newspaper-theme-customization/ , now im using multipurpose 3 and i cant find the proper elements to change color so i dont get this css override every time my header is loading. Currently i have picked blue color and green hover , but by default multipurpose 3 header has black color on letters and blue hover and white background color on header background . I wanna avoid this override and do the same as i did in the previous header you had helped me , check previous post and give me the same answer for multipurpose 3 header 🙂 Thank you in advance
I’ve reinstalled the theme, but the space between the blocks hasn’t decreased, but noticed that the block appears when I click on the News link (top-header-menu), which was as the main page pointing to the root of the site. Now I have adjusted my menu and the block is no longer displayed on the main and other pages. You can check the link now on my website: News (Test). Left it for you!
Hello,
As a temporary solution please use this css code in your theme panel-> custom css box:
@media(min-width:767px)and (max-width:1460px){
.td-header-menu-social{
position:relative!important;
margin-left:auto!important;
margin-right:auto!important;
display:table;
}}
@media(max-width:1620px){
.td-header-style-10 .td-affix .td-main-menu-logo{
position:relative!important;;
}
We will fix this in the future theme update.
Thanks
Hello,
Please add this css code in your theme panel-> custom css box:

top: 9px;
}
}
