My name’s Andrea and this is my 1st topic here.
First of all, I’d like to tell you that this is the best theme I’ve used so far.
I’ve a question for you: is it possible to set a custom page as homepage in the tagdiv Mobile theme?
It looks like the only option is to set a list of featured article + recent post.

It still doesn’t work, when I disabled the overlay option, it gives the same output which is a white background on other pages, when I tried adding a background to the specific page by editing through TD composer, the background gets effected on the homepage which is initially. Please, how can add a background image to pages without affecting the overlay on the homepage?

If you have set a title and description with Yoast they should appear in the page source

I recently used a transparent layout on my homepage but this layout has made ordinary pages not display properly, anytime I try fixing this by adding a background to other pages, this changes gets effected on all pages and the homepage. please is there any way I can make this work effectively? see below for links to the respective pages. I have seen tutorial to design custom webpages from tagdiv, but when i’m doing so, and publishing the designed page i can see Home-xyz.com on the tab. i’m looking forward for help to remove the page name while someone open the homepage of my website. It should be like xyz.com when someone open the homepage of site.

We would like to have rel = prev and rel=next with canonical pointing to their own URL and not homepage on paginated archives.

Has canonical set to homepage and there’s no prev and next.
The setting should be similar to what we have on paginated archives on categories.

I have installed the Newspaper theme successfully. Now i want to customize it, what I want to do is create horizontal blocks of particular categories like How to, Apps, etc. How many blocks i can add in the homepage?
Since last week, images on posts are suddenly not properly shown. There are two problems.
1. ‘The image #1 could not be loaded’ shows if you click an image on a post except for a featured image.
2. The size of images is shrunk with any blocks whether it’s on homepage or sidebar widget or related posts after an article on each post. Even icons with the theme are not shown properly sometimes.
The theme was perfectly Ok until I updated some plug-ins. After having trouble with images, I deactivated all the updated plug-ins. But that doesn’t improve the problems yet.
I have two sites, one with the latest version, the other with 9.6 version. The latest version one has #1 problem, 9.6 has both.
Do you have any idea why it happened?
Hi. If you take a look at my site http://www.moneylogik.com on the homepage when you scroll down and then start to come back up I have a sticky menu. The menu is colour blue but the logo is also the same colour. When you scroll up the logo is emerged into the header colour which I don’t want.
Is there a way (or some code) that will stop the logo and banner from showing when I scroll up. I want the mega menu to be the only thing on show when you scroll up. I don’t want the logo to be there when you scroll up.
Hope this makes sense.

I’ve decided to convert the pages on my website build with VC to Tagdiv Composer and at the same tiume do some redesigning. I started with building a new homepage from scratch in tagdiv composer. I’ve added a few elements from the Cloud library and made some changes.
Then I noticed some strange behaviour that made me nearly lose all my work. When I save it as a concept and then want to reopen the page in tagdiv composer the page is blank. There is code in the page editor, but when I click edit in tagdiv composer there is nothing there.
If I preview the page and then click on edit with tagdiv composer I get the message ‘this content hasn’t been created with tagdiv composer’ although that’s the only editor I’ve used. So how can this be and how to solve this?

Can I place a single youtube video on a homepage with tagdiv composer, similar to the video elements that can be added in the ‘post’ editor?
I can see the ‘Video Playlist’ element, but it doesn’t seem to work?

Well, this is not a solution obviously. We have invested in WP rocket and it seems it doesn’t work well either. Still homepage loads mobile version for a while..to many problems …
How do I only have featured image show in my homepage, but remove it in a single post page and have my photo gallery be at the very top. Also how do I have video preview thumbnail from youtube or vimeo on my post video page

Our wordpress site is hosted on a sub directory (/bg). The complete URL to blog homepage is https://www.giftadvisor.com/bg. However, when we enable amp, the amp pages are pointing to the main site instead of the blog sub directory (i.e. its pointing to https://www.giftadvisor.com/?amp instead of https://www.giftadvisor.com/bg/?amp). How can we fix that?

The only way to have this feature is to do the following:
In homepage edit using the tagdiv composer and set the row layout as shown here: https://www.screencast.com/t/zQcJSXzW You only choose one sidebar not 2.
Edit the ROW and set the layout to have 1 sidebar and you can add the elements you want.
In order to have this in posts you will have to add a single post template from the cloud library: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/

With Newspaper Theme you have the tagDiv Composer feature that allows you to create pages from ground up, so that means that your homepage can have the exactly the same features as posta page or they can be totally different.
My personal recomandation is for you to start learning all the features that Newspaper Theme has. All the details and step by step tutorials can be found here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/
If you want to build your page to be one of a kind and learn all the features and benefit from them at 1000%, that’s where you have to start.

I am using the newest version of the Newspaper Theme. The Flex Block 4 Element is messed up. It still shows the # of comments image even when it is hidden. When you edit the homepage where I am using the block, above the image in the block, it shows all the categories used on the website, not just those chosen for this block. All these categories do not show on the website itself.
I’m using Header Style 8 on Newspaper9 Theme with 6 items in my Top Menu and 3 items in my Main Menu.
When I’m on a laptop it shows both menus in full. When I scroll down, the Top Menu is hidden and the Main Menu (with 3 items) sticks to the top (as it should).
When I’m mobile BOTH menus disappear. Since there are only 3 items in my Main Menu, I’d like to keep these displaying in full on the homepage and sticking to the top as they do on desktop/laptop.
Is this possible to configure? Either in the theme settings or with some custom work? Would love some help- thanks in advance!

I have two questions:
1) what’s the ideal image size for a 1900x580px fullscreen slideshow? I’ve tried inserting images with exactly that size and they still get blown up quite a bit and cropped, so I’m not quite sure what to do to get maximum resolution and as little as possible cropping. Is there maybe a guideline for image sizing somewhere?
2) is there a way to assign a slide image to an article and keep the post image something else? Ideally I’d like to have a slide with specifically made large-scale images for featured articles on my homepage while keeping the aesthetic language in all article listings the same.
