Dear tagDiv Team,
I would know how to update Newspaper 8 theme to 8.1 version without losing all the changes I have made on the themplate.
I didn’t write any code or css changes, but of course I modified the homepage via TagDiv composer and the theme via the Newspaper8 Theme Control Panel.
How can I keep all the changes I have applied on my website? Will I lose them?

So for instance, I have a header called ‘Creative’ and posts that are tagged and categorised as ‘creative’ but it tends to just show what it wants.

How do I change this?

Hello Guys, also happened to me with the update. The Hompage gets an error. To workaround i needed to activated the tagDiv Composer. If deactivated the homepage gets an error message. I use only visual composer. So please help.

Quick question as I am new to the theme and everything that comes with it.
I want to get my homepage the same as can be found here: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/homepage-clean/
So with the big image on the left, double header menu with the “news ticker” below the main menu and small images on the right. Followed by the “regular” posts below there.
What is the best way of going about this? Could not find my way to the correct page through the available documentation.

Hello. I dont know why but when i try to create any new page, i cant see the option to customize the “Posts Loop Settings”… When i choose “Pagebuilder + latest articles + pagination”, the “Homepage Latest Articles” simple disapear. Why? I am actually running the version 8 of the Newspaper.

Any solution for this?

I deleted the template logos but just noticed that one appears when scrolling.

Where can I remove this from?

Also, big grid 1 – how do I get articles to automatically land in here? I’ve been adding them manually but is there another way?

Hi, I am working on democracynewslive.com and I’ve been trying to set up a new homepage design with tag div composer. I’ve deleted visual composer plugin and re-installed tagdiv composer, but still the drag and drop function doest work. I can give you the credentials or we can use teamviewer, you can see it for yourself. I’m a webdeveloper myself. Please, this is highly urgent, I’d request you to place it on high priority.

I use the big grid 12 on my homepage.
Default Settings :

Big Grid 12 image sizes :
1- 533×450 (Left)
2- 523×220 (right-top)
3- 523×220 (right-bottom)

i want to change this sizes

1- 780×440 (Left)
2- 390×220 (right-top)
3- 390×220 (right-bottom)

How can i do it?

Hi, I accidently unistalled visual composer and when I reinstalled it, all the tagdiv elements are missing. The website still works, but when I go to edit the homepage, before I saw bg slider box etc which I could edit. Now I just see code.

any ideas?

Newspaper theme contains at least 250 internal links even if you reduce as much as you can. 100 links is adviced for google seo optimization. Any experiences about that. After migrating from joomla to wordpress+newspaper i lost ranks in google. Any idea? I dont want to change homepage navigation menu because it looks awesome.

So my homepage at http://www.attractionboss.com has the same articles posted multiple times. Can somebody please explain how I set it so that my homepage contains the latest articles from each of my website categories. I understand that there are links to specific instructions but i still can’t seem to manage to get it right.

Can anybody give me a small step by step guide?

Hi Guys,

I just installed my theme and use your demo content DEFAULT but it is different than your online demo @ https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/ – it shows a TRAVEL menu item which is different than the other menu itens.

Rapidly in my installation only appears NEWS, FASHION, TECH, VIDEO, HOMEPAGES and in your online demo also have TRAVEL, FEATURES.

What I am trying to do is to build a submenu with 3 columns like TRAVEL. Would you help me with that or improve your demo content default?
