I’m not sure if this is related to the update or not, but my homepage comeout blank on chrome and Mozilla. And in the explorer it gives me the following error:

wp booster error:

The mobile theme and the subpages work. But its just the homepage in the desktop version.

If you installed the demo with content, this imports some dummy categories, posts etc. You can replace all of theme with your own. Create new menus, categories, posts and assign them in the blocks and grids on the homepage.

Unfortunately, we do not have any specific video which shows you when exactly you can create a demo like Architecture theme but please notice that we have such a video which allows you when you can create a homepage, like this -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LC7iz-v-zIY Please notice that if you like our demo, you can import it on your website and the layout will be the same. Also, notice that you can import it without content or import it with dummy content. Very important is to not edit the dummy content with your content because if you want to change the demo with another one, all of the edited content will be lost. I have completely destroyed the homepage template to the point I can’t do anything with it, so am starting over. However, using tagdiv doesnt let me create the homepage I want like the Architecture theme homepage.
is there a way I can reset the homepage only? I dont want to reset the theme as last time It errored.

If you want to have an infinite scroll at your homepage, you should simply use a block if you like it and also, setup the pagination to be infinite load from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/WWAlh8tgEm Also, if you want to have ads on left and right both on your homepage you should try using the layout with 3 columns and use the Widgetised sidebar, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/116BSxHnE On the single post, the theme does not have this such an option, sorry!

The front page does not contain any content at all. It only presents your posts. If you delete your current front page and create a new one, it will not delete your posts. it will simply delete the page presenting the posts. You should re-create your homepage from scratch when switching page builders.
I think you missed some steps in reading the theme docs. Your problems are not theme problems as you mention. You did not read the docs properly and do not know how to use the theme properly yet. Please check your sidebars in order to change widgets: https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/

I suggest you take a bit of time to learn the theme what’s and how’s first before jumping to conclusions.
The theme documentation should help in this regard: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/. We will help as well with any questions you may have.
If you do not have the patience needed to learn the theme settings, we will be able to provide a refund, no problem, but keep in mind that there are themes out there LOTS harder to learn than ours and you could be facing this issue in other themes you purchase.

Why can’t you create a new page if it’s the front page? Simply create a new one from scratch and set it as a homepage instead of your current one.

Also please do not use both page builders at the same time. Only keep one of them active. Both plugins active will cause issues.

Please notice that if you were updated your theme to the latest version of it, the Visual Composer was replaced with our page builder which is TD Composer and most likely, that’s why you bring some shortcodes or HTML code through you homepage because the TD Composer does not recognize all the shortcodes of Visual Composer. Also, our builder is at the beginning and also, it is in a continuous development. You will not found all the elements which Visual Composer has. From now on, this plugin will be improved with some features which have to be exclusively for this builder.

First of all please check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary

Then deactivate all other plugins except the ones provided with the theme (install the latest version of the plugins from the theme package) and clear any caching installed.
Then create a new page and try to edit it with the tagDiv composer. Do not edit page previously created with the Visual composer. If you installed a demo, use tagDiv composer to edit the homepage. Open the page and make the modifications you want.

When I installed the theme from WordPress, this is how it looked.

I use AdRotate Pro and it’s very easy – as Chris S said – in my case I use the Adrotate shortcode directly in the spots chosen via Theme Panel
And for sidebar use the widgets from AdRotate and drag them onto it – as many as you like – see westbridgfordwire.com and let me know if you have any questions
Header, leaderboard, and post inline are all used, some with ‘Groups’ that rotate – again the plugin provides a shortcode for the group – it has never failed me on any Newspaper version – provided you update it properly (the plugin) when he sends one out
Shortly I’m removing sidebar ads on homepage though – there is also one tagdiv widget I think for one sidebar ad. For if you don’t need multiple…

I don’t want this widget being displayed on my homepage. Is there any way to disable it?
Just got started with Newsmag and run into a couple of problems with the composer, the main ones being:
– I’m trying to add a title with a text block to the homepage, but I’m unable to save any content. If I click on Edit Content, the content window opens, but it never saves the content, no matter what I do.
– Columns don’t seem to be working at all. Whenever I try to drag & drop a block to the left or to the right, this placement marker shows up but the block doesn’t snap to it or anything. Tried all kinds of blocks, always the same result.
I’m probably missing something or doing something wrong, can you tell me what it is? I’m using the newest version of WordPress, all plugins disabled, tried Chrome and Firefox.
