There is no ideal image size to use as featured image regarding the aspect ratio, it all depends on the modules used. Each module has it’s own thumbnail size

Maybe you can find a module that can be used to better display the images you want, or use a different element from Visual composer for pages.

The theme automatically generates the thumbnail sizes needed, from the featured image for each module – https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/
This process is done by default, it is not necessary to regenerate the thumbnails after each added featured image. Unless you make changes to the thumb settings

I have inspected your website and the images you mention, but I do not see this blur problem. The theme will not stretch the images you use in the post, they will be displayed as they are, and the featured image based on the post template used. The post content width is 696px, if a image is smaller it will be displayed as it is.
If you want the images to be of maximum width and aligned with the post content just select the full size when adding them to the post – https://www.screencast.com/t/tkeqhAtt4yGK
The theme will create all the thumb sizes needed from the full size image you insert in the post. Please correct me if I misunderstand.

I suggest you disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache if you have one installed, then use this guide to regenerate your thumbnails

The theme creates the thumb sizes used on the blocks from the featured image you set for the post, maybe something is interfering with this process, try the regeneration tool and it should recreate the thumbs needed.

This is normal. The theme creates the thumb sizes needed from the images you upload, in order to display them on the blocks – https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
In the theme panel you can see what thumb sizes are needed for each block. You can take note and disable the ones that you are not using.

Hi,

I have tested the featured video option and it is working properly. You just have to follow the steps required. Select the video post format, then one of the recommended post templates. Add your video URL in the featured video field and update the post. Then the featured video will be displayed in the post page, and a featured image will be generated from this video – https://www.screencast.com/t/aHzCQTLyKTAL and displayed on the blocks. Make sure that you have enabled the thumb sizes in theme panel – https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
Please try and disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed and try this again.

Maybe you are using a plugin that is automatically resizing your thumbs, and this can cause interference with the theme and cause unexpected results. If you could provide a link to your website pointing to this issue, I will inspect it and see if there are any problems in this matter.

@bobbymc Please provide a link o your website pointing to this problem so we can inspect it. The images should display if the required thumb sizes are enabled in theme panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/IgpxrBc3 and you have set featured images for the posts that are displayed in the Big grids. Most of the time image issues are caused by some problematic plugins that are interfering with the functionality, but there could be other causes as well.

Well you could limit the paragraphs only inside the post content, while not affecting the images with something like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/GPOuxgvwUd1 but as you can see the smaller images inside the post remain in their initial position, and there is no way to differentiate them from the other ones for further alignment. Maybe you will have to position them differently inside the post content until you have a proper result or use only full images.
Please note that a code like this might be needed to be modified if you have more elements inside the post content then paragraphs.

You can create a condition like that also – https://www.screencast.com/t/3xtgjFaiY9v using a media query, or create a normal code for this and use the theme’s Advanced Css sections in Theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/JFonig4y where there already are sections for specific screen sizes. Then the font will change size according to the screen width.
