I’m using smart list 2 for all my post and i have not control on any image regarding of their size some picture comes with small size and some comes with big size here u can see the image sizes which i want to make same size for all images – http://curiosityhuman.com/top-10-celebrities-beautiful-smile/ , 4 Taylor Lautner (American Actor) is bigger and 9 Kristen Stewart is smaller whereas I try to make their same size for all images.

all images on it became smaller after an update and I can’t make them bigger.

For some reason it seems this theme is creating a ton of different sized images everytime I upload a new one. I have the following sizes being created automatically:

100×70
1024×768
1068×580
1068×801
150×150
218×150
265×198
and so on… there are 21 different sizes being created for each photo which is absolutely killing my storage.

Hi guys, hope you’re all well.

I am exploring different big grids for my site re-launch using Newspaper instead of Newsmag, and have been toying with Big Grid 9 stretched across a full-width row, like this: http://www.screencast.com/users/stuartmasson/folders/Default/media/a1832bfb-6002-462e-8b44-94b9f28df139

My problem is that the images need to be resized. Can you please point me in the direction of how to do this, if it is possible?

Hello we have set a wordpress site using the Newspapper theme!!
We have change the default page width 1068px to 1300px.
On single post page where use the feature image.Although the image is cropped to 696 x 522px(YELLOW rectangle in image) and if we change the image’s width with css the images are became stretched.
The question is how may we change the theme to crop the image to 784*526(see here: http://tessera.gr/various/ticket_for_tagdiv.jpg)!

Hi, we have a problem with featured images on our website (http://newsbitt.rs). By some random order they suddenly won’t load at all (we get gray background instead of featured images) or they are loading aligned to left (we get a part of featured image and the rest is gray background). We are sure that it doesn’t have anything to do with featured images sizes, because the problem is the same, no matter if featured image is for example 1200x700px or 1920x1080px (or larger). The screenshots of this problem is in links below.
P.S. We regularly update the Newspaper theme and its plugins.

Hello, I have a few questions about the theme.

1. I noticed some of the thumbnails are producing different sizes. The first blog post featured image has a taller height and the eighth one down is also producing the same result. Do you suggest a recommended height/width for all featured images to prevent this from taking place going forward?

2. Is it possible to place in-line advertising code within a block/grid? We were hoping to drop in ad code 5 headlines down and it doesn’t appear the Visual Composer allows you to do that. We didn’t notice an area in the Theme Panel that had this custom coded either.

What size(s) are best for the images used in each of the Smart List styles?

I’ve searched the forum and been able to fix my duplicate smart list image by deactivating the photon feature of Jetpack and not using special characters in the ‘alt tags’ but have not found a list of the image sizes we should use for optimal display for each of the smart list styles.

i have two questions:

I would love to display blocks in that new “are” design (inspired by Pinterest. I understand we would need to develop it, but could you please give me some pointers on how to do it?
At the very minimum I would like the title of the post to be on a solid strip below the image without any overlays on the image. (maybe there is something I could do in “grid” block about it?)
Ideally I would like cards to be of different sizes (pretty much like you have in the block 8) just with titles on a solid strip under the photo and with some margins between the posts.

Question about image sizes:
we would like to use “ad” options to put our own images of sponsored projects. We would like and mix them in amongst other blocks as much as we can. What are the image sizes wo that they fit with the overall design. E.g. how long is ⅔ of a screen (if i select that option in columns on the main page) or how tall is one section in block 21? – so if i place our image to the side of that block they visually line up?

I have regular wordpress galleries in quite a few of my posts. They are set to 1 column and image size is “full” but when displayed in the theme (post) the images seemed to be restricted vertically to a height of 385 – so all the pictures looked different sizes instead of filling the post area.
While running the recommended “thumbnail regenerate” plugin, now the gallery I was experimenting with shows as giant cropped thumbnails. How do I get the theme to just recognize the wordpress gallery as it is without manipulating the pictures sizes or cropping?

Some images now show different sizes and are no longer linked up after the update to version 3.
https://www.iisnet-networks.com/ The images under hosting with red background are correct size and links work, but scroll down to “vps hosting” and the three images there are tiny thumbnails with no links.
Tried clearing cache, reload images etc.
Suggestions please.

Also, I noticed the missing images or media sizes after updating to wordpress 4.0 last time. I only got a thumb at 150 x 150 and a full size.

My host provider says you have passed the limit number of files (100.000) on the server. Now it is getting me into trouble. How can I turn off some image generation sizes for the purpose of reducing number of files in the future, is it a theme option or wp option?
