Hello,
We are receiving a Javascript (jquery) error inside of tagdiv_theme.min.js (line 165) that applies only to small-screen devices.
The website does not load images on mobile devices and does not allow the menu to work.
We have reinstalled WordPress, deleted and reinstalled all plugins, disabled all plugins, cleared caches, reintalled the latest theme and nothing is fixing the issue.
Also, since day one of installing the theme, when the website is refreshed on any device, it loads the original content from day one launch. So one year later, it displays the correct content, but when refreshed, the old content appears, including posts/site design/menu.
Please advise.

I didn’t install all of them since I do not need all and in addition I instaled the visual composer (given by you).
Still, my site does not updated after saving settings.
What can I do please?
The ‘Default Templates’ drop down shows many of the demos, but missing the ‘Say What’.

Any advice on where to get this?
Note: I installed the demo with content switched off – just settings. So I assume the layout is probably not part of default.
Any info on the actual layout? For example, I figured out the first section is Big Grid 4. But are there any doc or import, so I don’t have to recreate this?

Note –
well known issue with some servers to switch off “FastCGI” option for PHP in hosting panel.
This was common issue with GoDaddy.
You should be able to use WP media manager regardless of theme.
With theme active most common issues are that the server setup is not allowing theme to “write” the needed thumbs for each new image.
So,
a) check permissions on the media folder is “writable”
b) check at least 96M allocated to WP in wp-config.php
c) on some systems, disable “fastCGI” option under your php settings in theme panel.
On some/most servers, also need to have Glib/imagemagick installed to process images (should be by default, but not always!).
This takes care of 90% of such issues.

Please provide your website URL so we can further inspect it closer and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response. First of all, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins.

Update: I manually switched the theme to another one using FTP, logged in to the wp control panel, deleted newspaper theme folder and installed it again.
It’s working now!!! 🙂
But I would like to know the reason, and would like to know was there any other solution than deleting and installing the theme again.

Unfortunately, I do not know where this error occurs. I suspect your untested plugins which can interact with the theme core and cause a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable the untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. You can try the code below and place it in Theme panel ->Custom CSS area.

If the problem is still there, please make a new clean install from scratch and install the theme via FTP method because this is the surest way in this regard. That seems to be the wp admin bar. It should not be showing up if the user is not logged in. That is a strange issue. It could also be a caching issue. Please use wp super cache and these settings:

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme (Newspaper 7.5) and also, the latest version of required plugins which come bundled with the theme packet. So, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. If the problem persists, please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. Please make sure you installed the the properly by using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Then make sure you update your visual composer plugin to the latest version by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ and disable all other plugins except visual comsposrer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
If you use a child theme=, make sure you switch to the main theme to rule out any issues regarding the child theme.

In “/wp-admin/plugins.php” it says. “Speed booster for Newspaper 6 and Newsmag 2.x themes….”
No I did get the file from latest 7.5 install archive. Do I have the wrong file/plugin or is it just the text from your plugin that needs an update?

I can ensure you that I am using Yoast plugin fully for every page : title, desc and keyword.
I have also tried to disable newly installed plugin, but with no success.
And also, the name and dimensions of the pictures appear only for the home page, if you type “emprunter malin” in google serp.
This was not happenning before, it came up a few weeks ago.
Do you have any idea what could cause this ?

I would like to report two issues to the theme editors:
1- the TagDiv Slider Gallery is not working in mobile. You can’t slide the images at all. It has been like this for quite sometime.
2- the second issue is that Firefox is showing this message when I am trying to access your site:

Dear Forum,
I have my own license for Visual Composer 5.0.
Can I enter my own license number into the Visual Composer in order to use the latest version with Newspaper 7? Or will this cause havoc with the Newspaper 7 install?
Should I wait for a Newspaper 7 update with the Visual Composer 5.0 update included?
Right now, my Visual Composer inside the WordPress dashboard is showing the version active of 4.12. This version seems kinda old.

Make sure you install just the theme zip folder, and not the “all files” zip — that will never ever work.

When you type my website name “emprunter malin” in google search, you will see that the description that shows up on the SERP includes the feature pitcures’name : Fotolia_122323603-537×360 Infos et guides pour emprunteur malin.
This description changes every day, as I upload new article on a daily basis (except week end).
I tried to name the feature pic differently like “appartement a paris”, but the dimension (537×360) still shows up, like : appartement a paris-537×360 Infos et guides pour emprunteur malin
I tried to deactivate recently installed plugin such AMP, but nothing happens.
How can I solve this problem ?
