The installation of the rtMedia plugin results in a double arrow being displayed in Lightbox images (https://freemore.me/2015/10/20/how-to-get-your-news-anonymously/ for an example – click any of the guide images).
I was wondering if there was a way to resolve this issue other than disabling rtMedia entirely?

I have the free version of AdRotate installed and I have been able to get the ads placed, but upon clicking the ads – instead of taking me to the site it takes me to a 404 error.
It feeds me back to myurl.com/linkedurl.com.
How would this be fixed, as far as I know I have used the correct html code.

Thanks for replying, but whatever header style i choose, it still be a boxed version of a website. I tried installing default demo & after that the website becomes fullwidth (wide layout) but again after uninstall of demo it goes back to boxed version,
By fullwidth i mean, topbar, header menu & footer background reaching both ends of the website completely i.e 100% width.
I don’t know whats wrong?
Is there any setting where i have to select from boxed, wide layouts?

Nothing happens for no reason at all, our theme does not delete images from your website. Please try to provide more details to your problem. Maybe you installed a plugin or made some customizations. If the problem reappears you can try to disable your plugins except visual composer, clear your cache and purge CDN files if you use it.
Based on what you wrote, we cannot know what caused the problem.

I have placed the Newspaper Theme to a new WordPress installation. As a demo I chose “Travel” without content.
Now I have the problem that the theme loading will embed an image file, which it obviously did not find it and have long load times. In the html text, I find this image file probably at this point:

Please disable all your plugins except visual composer and check your site again. I have checked your site and saw you have quite a number of them installed. Sometimes plugins cause more problems than solutions and incompatibility between them is experienced very often.

If you already have a demo installed you can uninstall it from http://screencast.com/t/g2MTQ6F2,
If you do not use any of these demos, you can delete them from the files: newspaper/includes/demos
They will still appear in the panel as option. You can remove these options by commenting out their code in td_config.php : http://screencast.com/t/4qfsREugm

Site’s WP Memory Limit is already more than 512 MB
And for minification, I installed Better WordPRess Minify plugin and it kind of.. broke down my site. So uninstalled it.

If you have a plugin installed to show a timer in the meta section, you can try to alter the theme files and use a ‘do_shortcode’ function: <?php echo do_shortcode('your shortcode here');?> and place it in the post template you use on your post: http://screencast.com/t/fc7VGtvEqQcz
Every post template has a file to go with it. The default is without a number to it. The others correspond to their post template number.

Please make sure you install the visual composer plugin that comes with the theme: http://screencast.com/t/74bsUYY7xX And make sure you use the latest theme version.

If this is the case, then try to disable all other plugins except visual composer and check the error again.

I somehow fix this problem myself.
It turns out that my settings in WP Total Cache plugin that caused this problem.
If you’re using WP Total Cache and having this kind of problem. Kindly follow this steps:
Option #1
1. Go to your general settings in WP Total Cache
2. Set Minify setting to Manual
3. Then go to the Minify tab (on the left panel)
4. Disable CSS minify (Make sure the box for “Enable” in unticked)

Option #2
1. Go to your general settings in WP Total Cache
2. Disable Minify
———–
Option #3
Deactivete WP Total Cache and just install/use WP Super Cache as recommended by tagdiv
Do any of the 3 options above can solve all the problems I stated above.
I use WP Total Cache for a few years now, and I’m kinda accustom to the plugin, that’s why I’m not planning to change it to WP Super Cache.

Your site made more than 140 request per load 🙁 You need to compress and minify css, js, html. Wp rocket made all the work better than “better wordpress minify plugin”.
Install, Activate and customize tagdiv speed booster
Optimize images and save all your images in progresive mode (Kraken io and shortpixel are two of my favorites image oprimization plugins)
Optimize your database, set more than 128mb to wp memory limit, optimize your wp-config file to make less calls to database.

I just installed Newspaper theme in my website, PanduanSaya.com. Just finish my edits but I found out a few things not working properly:
1. My mega menu not showing sub-categories. I followed the tutorial but can’t get it to work
2. My ajax filtering or pagination in block (homepage) not working properly. I clicked the next/previous, but somehow it takes to the top of website, and the ajax does not change the page that it should be – it just takes you to the top of the website.
3. My news sticker also having the same problem like ajax filtering in block.
Here are few of my settings, hope it helps:
– I disable lazy load, because it causing my images not showing
– I tried optimized pre-loading in mega menu preload, not working
– page attribute for my homepage (visual composer) is default template
– I use Incapsula CDN

I’ve installed Async, page is loading fast after defering Javascript, but this plugin and defering of Javascrit is breaking MY FAVORITES widget from the sidebar.
I’m using Newspaper 6.5 with Classic Blog theme.

Hi I am getting the following error on Category pages and also when the site is searched using the search module.
wp booster error:
Missing module: td_module_search
/nas/wp/www/cluster-41040/luxniseko/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/loop.php
When I installed the theme I deleted the old plugin and added the new one. Everything else works splendidly.
Please advise how to correct the problem

i just installed Newspaper6 and from the Theme panel i set up background for homepage and for the cathegory pages, none of both are working i tried fixed and scroll uploading or just by url but the background still white and doesnt change, tried deleting cache i even disabled the caching pluging but theres no way to make the background work help please

After that, I have create fresh site with latest version of NewsMag theme(V 2.2.1).
– Remove all plugins and install 2 plugins are: tagDiv Social Counter(Version 3.0), WPBakery Visual Composer(Version 4.7.4)
– Install “Default demo” from “Install Demos” tab.
Go to Pages > “News – Front Page”:

I’m enjoying seeing all the extensive upgrades you did, and I’m currently creating customizations using my Child theme. I’m looking forward to improving my site with your many upgrades.
