A number of times during the day our Newspaper homepage will not display properly as formatted. It reverts to some kind of knock-down display. After some time it will correct itself, only to have it happen again a few hours later.
Our logo doesn’t display properly, our feature block “above the fold” disappears replaced by a header that reads “Featured.” Essentially our entire homepage layout gets bastardized, not conforming to our design.
Something similar also happens on mobile. Sometimes the mobile homepage displays similar to our desktop homepage and sometimes it has the header “Featured” followed by the thumbnails of the most recent posts.
Both these situations are still present after recently updating to the latest version of the Newspaper theme. I thought the update would fix the problem, but it did not.
I would love to include some images to illustrate what I am trying to explain, but I don’t see how to do that in the contact utility. Please let me know how I can attach or include some images and I will do so.
We are new to the Newspaper theme, having just recently installed it in May 2021. Unfortunately, if I can’t get these issues worked out we’re going to have to go in a different direction.

hello, my site becomes messed up when I update the theme to version 11.1. I have child theme installed but still looks messed up when I update. (child theme https://ibb.co/smGZGSL)
Also after updating, it also asks me to insert the purchase code which I always do.
what should I do?
I always have to do a restore after updating to the new theme version because the new version destroys my customizations

Now I’m trying to progress to using an ad system. I saw on one of your other posts you recommended Adrotate Plugin as working with Newspaper.
So I installed it and I am trying it out, so far I cannot get it to display. Obviously I’m doing something wrong, allow me to present what I have done so far.

I am trying to explain to you that this error is thrown by your tagdiv shop plugin. And this is verified in 3 (by now) CLEAN wordpress installations.

Seems you have the Mobile theme plugin activate, when you install and activate the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
Better deactivate the plugin and you will have the responsive version.

Usually, this problem appears when is use thee automatic update from extra plugins, code or host. Also in some cases it can be a plugin conflict (some extra plugins to interfere with the theme update). Normally, all the theme plugins that you had activated can be installed from Newspaper > Welcome screen. In case the one of theme is not there you can find it in Newspaper > plugins.

An hour ago, I notice that the newspaper theme was somehow removed from my site, and I have to reinstall the Newspaper theme and active it again. After that, I notice the “Subscribe” section was gone, and the theme for the sub-pages are gone too. Could you please assist? Thanks.

As well, I followed your directive and deleted the TagDiv Composer, and reinstalled it. No caching plugin exists. I dd clear browser, site, and server cache. Still nothing. Please advise.

Hello, the issue is very serious. I was using Yoast Seo plugin when I first installed the theme. But Yoast Seo was creating problem when writing article. When I write and update contents, it does not show me exact words. Sometimes it shows there is no outbound links, inbound links in my content and shows red sign in On-page SEO.
Then I switched to Rank math, but it was also creating problem.
After that now recently I switched to Yoast SEO and I am facing same error using Yoast SEO.
Most importantly, after switching to Yoast Seo from Rank Math, I am getting coverage issue on “Google Search Console”. My posts are not getting indexed and I am losing a lot of traffic. Google does not even crawl my site and pots anymore. The issue could be because of Tagdiv Composer.

I didn’t say that the connections from queries can not be improve, but from my test on my install, there were no slow queries -> https://i.imgur.com/GmZTFUr.png sometimes the slow queries can be from other extra code, plugins or specific settings.
Anyway, I informed our developers to check the querist made by our theme and see how can those be improved.

Please check the console log to see if you do not get an admin-ajax error when you try to install it. If you get it, then please check all plugins/options from your website and host that can blocked the admin-ajax, check the modSecurity from host, it can be from firewall or other security modules/plugins.
