About this post. After installing the multi language plugin i noticed that the menu shown on mobile phones is only in the default language. How can I instruct the site to use a different menu for a different language ?

The classic text editing options were never available nor was the proper formatting of text and images UNTIL I had installed ‘classic editor’ (including ‘classic’ paragraph). Previously, aligning an image left would not allow the following text to format itself on the right side of the image. Now it does.
Also, with the ‘classic editor’ installed, the visual editor layout did not reflect what was shown on the site. I since uninstalled the ‘classic editor’ and now suddenly I have the classic options available again as well as content formatting properly next to pictures.
I have no idea how to explain it other than installing and uninstalling that plug-in seemed to do the trick.
Some progress… I installed a plugin ‘classic editor’ and this restored all original editing options.
However, with the visual editor, my post is not retaining the same format from edit view to actual page view. One example is a smaller image lined up on the left with paragraph in line with the top image border in editing view, whereas the page view (once published) shows a much larger image with the paragraph cramped into 2-3 words on the right before going to the next line.

I have two more questions i would like to ask.
1. How do i get this part shown on the image black instead of white. i want to have my whole page black and this is part and a section just above the footer remains white
2. How do i insert a rev slider to appear just under the menu. one the demo page installed, after removing the Trending Now it has a gap between the menu and the first element.

As far as I know, I’ve been missing everything from the beginning. All I have currently viewable is the top line from the ‘bold’ icon to the first solid chain ‘hyperlink’ icon. The “kitchen sink” toggle toolbar button is missing, along with the rest of the text edit options.
I’ve disabled all plugins with no change.
I’ve switched themes with no change.
I’ve installed TinyMCE plugin and gained most text icons, but still missing the toggle and a few others.
Please help me. I’m coming across little bugs here and there that is making the $60 theme seem not so worth $60. I’m literally spending more time troubleshooting stuff than I am getting content out. Missing these options is restricting me from being able to properly format my articles.

In order to make this crop center center you need to edit a theme file , please go in:
\wp-content\themes\Newspaper\includes\td_config.php
Go on line 1532 to td_api_thumb::add(‘td_218x150’, and set there center center

From now on all thumbs with this size will be crop center center, but you’ll need to regenerate all future image set until now.
In order to do that you need to install regenerate Thumbnails
select the feature image and click on regenerate

Hi,
I can’t make any events plugin recommendations, we haven’t tried any. You could make some tests on a local install first with such plugins, see which ones work best and have the options you require. Try free plugins if possible.
Maybe some theme users can share their experience with event plugins, what are they using.

Hi! I don’t use tagDiv Composer plugin on my theme, becouse I edit post and pages on WordPress backend by Visual Composer.
Is it mandatory that I have tagDiv Composer plugin installed and activated if I am not using it? Does it affect the speed of my web?

Newspaper-Theme update from 9.0.1 to 9.2.2 didn’t help. There is a new rev-Slider update (5.4.8 to 5.4.8.1), but how do i get it and install it? Its not in the normal 9.2.2-Download on envato-Market.

So, recently I switched from WPBakery composer to TD Composer. All was fine on a test installation, but now that it’s active on the main site TD Composer doesn’t confirm that changes are saved. It does save changes, but does not confirm it, just keeps spinning. Now that’s not a life-or-death issue, just thought that I would mention it. Memory allocations are well over the requirements so I don’t think that’s a problem.
Also, I transferred the new homepage by copy-pasting shortcodes from the test installation to the live one. The first time I brought up TD Composer it told me that “current page was not created by TD Composer”, but only then – there were no warnings later on.
I noticed that the page has two custom fields added. The first one is “tdc_content” and it appears to be a copy of the content. The second one is “tdc_dirty_content” and that says 0. Is that normal behavior?

I just used “Featured” as an example category. When I install default demo theme, it displays all categories for the post, but when I remove demo data, it displays only one category on the single post, so how to display there all categories?

Each theme version package will contain the theme plugins that will work only with that version. So for example if you use an older theme version, trying to install the latest mobile theme plugin will not work.
Either update the theme, or contact us by email as mentioned, so we can provide an older plugin version. Please specify in the email what theme version you are using.

Please access the appearance->themes section of WordPress and check to see which theme is actually active on your install.
If it says it is newspaper but you cannot see it, it could be a caching issue. Please clear all cache and cdn on your install or host. Please disable any hosting side cache and only use wp super cache as a cache solution.

You will have to create a new page with the tagDiv composer or with the WPBakery page builder, and set it as homepage. Simply installing the theme will not change the homepage
