Thanks for the support. I don’t use TagDiv Composer, as such that option is not needed for me. How can I disable/De-activate that? I know that it comes pre-installed with the theme but I don’t want any add-on weight on my site which ultimately has an effect on page-load time of the site. If there is no such option please consider to add it in the next update.
Getting this error since doing the upgrade. Re-installed theme from fresh file, still getting it. I’ve deactivated every plugin and still get the error when the td_composer plugin is active:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 103809024 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes) in /xxxxxxxxxxxx/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_util.php on line 1381
Try to re-install the latest theme by FTP
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Remove and delete the composer, install it again from the theme plugins panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/MAtStP1KDdH1
Increase the memory more if possible, that could be insufficient. Clear the cache and purge CDN files if you use it. Let us know.
Hello Rohit Sharma,
First of all, I will thank you for reaching us! Normally, the Envato policy allows using a theme only on one install. You can, however, use the theme on a sub-domain if you plan on creating a testing site, but if we are talking about totally different sites with different content, then only one theme per install is legally allowed. In your case, you should buy another license because it’s seems to be another project!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello urza07,
I suggest you make a new fresh install to another sub-domain for testing via FTP way, use only the required plugins which can come bundled with the theme core files and check the results. If the theme will be correctly installed, all of these errors should disappear.
Thanks for your understanding!
When i try to (re)install Tagdiv plugins (like composer and mobile theme) i get the following message. On mobile devices my site is a mess now. What can i do to solve this?
PLUGINS DISABLED AUTOMATICALLY
The following plugins were disabled because they are incompatible with this version of Newspaper:
tagDiv Composer
Deactivate and remove it, then re-install it from here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/e4QXvuJaCvOI
It should be updated automatically, but sometimes it fails.
Hi Eric,
please login into the theme newspaper panel, then click plugins and update the AMP Plugin from tagdiv, after that it will work.
@Newspaper Team,
i have a problem with my amp installation after i updated the latest version

Google told me that the style amp-custom is not allowed, how can i change it?`

As the title says it all. I got an updateed version of the theme today, but when I’m installing it says the folder exists which is obvious. But my question is when I replace the whole theme file, all the settings will also be changed.
How do I update the theme keeping all the settings same as it was before updating? (excluding custom css)
Hi,
The theme is not missing the CSS file. The missing stylesheet issue appears when the whole theme package is uploaded, not the actual theme file. Please check the theme install guides

Thanks
Hello dim_gian,
Please keep in mind that each demo has an own CSS style. So, if like one of our demos, you should install/import it from the panel. Otherwise, notice that is not a simple task to customize your actual layout to look similar to the demo wanted. As a hint, you should look at the style.css file from demo section from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/GXkYH9ta0i and try to replicate at your website. Please keep in mind that we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Thanks.
The most recommended update method is by FTP, please try to reinstall the theme
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Then please deactivate the tagDiv composer and install it again from here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/r2n8DZ94
The multi-purpose plugin is no longer required, it is included in the tagDiv composer.
That error is displayed when the page you are editing is not created with the tagDiv composer or in which you entered a custom code. Try the composer on a new page and see if the same error is displayed.
It could also be displayed when the super cache is installed and not configured as mentioned here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Let us know the results.
@Simion C. I just updated the theme. The TagDiv plugin got deactivated and I was not able to activate it from theme panel or WordPress plugin section. Had to delete it and reinstall it from Theme panel.
Hi,
That would be just one of the problems. Try to use the header search function, related articles section also is not functioning and displaying correctly, the author avatar is not displayed as well. These issues are happening on all of the posts I tested and category pages, the homepage works properly.
I would suggest that you first deactivate all your plugins except theme plugins, clear all installed caches or server provided, clear CDN as well if used. If you enter any code in the theme panel (custom code ad codes etc) temporarily remove it. The same for theme modifications if you mad any.
Additionally check the theme system status panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If needed ask your hosting provider to increase the allocated resources. Let us know the results.
Thanks
Hello bpzoodesign,
Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, update the plugins, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ and check the results.
Thanks.
Hello fwoedit,
You should try to make a full backup to your database to avoid losing all of your customizations, sorry! Please notice that the first step for WordPress debugging is to try the theme without any customization and untested plugins in default mode. If not then it does not work, it seems to be a problem or if will works, means that the problem comes from your customizations or theme installing. Please do this and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks.
Hello obeyone,
Please use the FTP way for your theme installing because this is the surest method in this case. Please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/
Thanks.
Hi !
I’m going to have a problem with you that I installed the update yesterday and since this footer has this bug: Warning: Missing argument 2 for get_the_privacy_policy_link (), called in / home / u697625254 / public_html / wp-content / themes / Newspaper / includes /wp_booster/td_util.php on line 1442 and defined in /home/u697625254/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_util.php on line 1553

Hi, I’m not able to update the theme. I asked my webhost, Pagely, to try it, and this was their answer:
“I tried uploading the theme through the normal WordPress method of “Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme” and found that the theme would upload but would not install because it’s missing a CSS file. You may want to contact the theme developers to find out if there are more specific or out of the ordinary steps needed to get the upgrade installed.”
I never installed the tagDiv Multipurpose plugin on my site and today I updated the theme and TagDiv composer plugin. I read from the logs that tagDiv Multipurpose and Composer plugin merged together. However, this recent upgrade caused to upload around 12 new images into WordPress media library and unable to delete. When I did FTP, the images are uploaded to tagDiv Multipurpose plugin image folder without write permission.
I assume these images are part of demo or something, and not supposed to upload without requesting that. If I delete the tagDiv Multipurpose plugin image folder via FTP, is this plugin going to stop working or generate an error? If yes, would you please clean this sample images in the next updates? Any fix I can do to remove images and make it clean?
I have three licenses for newspaper, in one is working fine, but, in the other installation after the update tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Social Counter, tagDiv AMP, and tagDiv Newsletter are disabled, but when i try to activate them back there is a brief warning about the activation and it disappears, i tried to reactivate them after disabling all other plugins but it gives me the same error. in the front page shows the following errors:

I re-uploaded the whole folder to no avail, what might be happening?
You have a different Issue to mine When I updated the Home Page Broke. I deleted Tag diV Composer and reinstalled from Dashboard.
Sounds like you would need to go into your Cpanel and Turn off all Plugins so you can get back into Backend.
I get the exact same message. This happened just after the update earlier today.
have you figured it out yet? I have tried uninstalling the plugin and the uploading it again, but when I try to activate it this message shows up:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare on_tdc_init_multipurpose() (previously declared in /home4/wagovq0aea4k/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/td-multi-purpose/td-multi-purpose.php:15) in /home4/wagovq0aea4k/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-multi-purpose/td-multi-purpose.php on line 16
Hi there,
I never had a problem with updating the theme before. But today after I install the 8.75 update, my site is not even working anymore.
My site is cpblstats.com
Right now it just show a blank page, I can’t even log into my wp-admin page.
By the way, I always follow the method C from the tagdiv tutorial when updating the theme. https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
