If you want to use our design demo you should import the demo without content and use your own created content. Also, another alternative for you would be to create another sub-domain for testing where you should install the demo with content to make it easier for you to build your site.

I am not sure if I understand correctly but to solve issue 2 I just installed the latest update. Now the header is displayed correctly.
For issue 1 please refer to my previous posts. From what I have figured out so far the wrong image size only appears in Firefox and on high resolution displays (1920×1080 px). It looks fine on any resolution below that. For this I still don’t have a solution…
Has anyone had any luck getting the mobile theme to work with multisite? It fails to find the correct path every time it is activated and no other plugins are installed. Any help would be appreciated.
OK i figured it, the main Zip is buried in the file. I had just assumed that the zip you download is the theme. My bad. Install worked after that 🙂

Followed all the steps and both guides and ran into numerous problems…
When I deleted every plugin and reinstalled the tagdiv plugins, I kept getting the ‘no valid headers’ error for every plugin, so I installed them manually. When I downloaded the social counter plugin and went to the widget tab to enter my social media accounts and save, it keeps disappearing (as if I never installed it). This is happening with all tagdiv plugins. Every other plugin has been deleted.
I have to go back to 8.5 again, but again the social counters won’t show up on the homepage. IS there any update soon that can provide a fix for this. I’ve had this issue for months now and I’ve reinstalled the theme and plugins so many times now I can’t count.

I’ve had this problem on my main site for a couple of months now. I’ve come back to try working on it again but still can’t fix the problem.
(the problem is i only get the spinning gray wheel on TD composer edits
So far I have added these snippets to my .htaccess file

My php memory limit is 256, i’ve cleared all cache’s since trying the fixes.
it is a fresh install via ftp, all fresh plugins, all up-to-date. No other plugins exist on the site other than default tagdiv ones.

I have had real problems getting the Newspaper theme onto my server and running. I used WP dashboard(appearance-themes- upload theme) and got the response ‘the link you followed is expired’ This happened once the upload reached 100%. I changed the PHP settings to allow larger files and longer to upload, but not luck. WP is fully updated and freshly installed on server.
I then tried using FTP Filezilla to import the theme. However i now have the error on the WP that says:
Newspaper Template is missing. Standalone themes need to have a index.php template file. Child themes need to have a Template header in the style.css stylesheet.
i have tried importing both the Zip and the uncompressed into the Themes folder in WP on my server. WP recognizes that it is there but not usable!
Please can you let e know what i am doing wrong or send me a version that will work!

I could give you a hint of what I do with my site. You create a staging site on a subdomain (or a new folder inside public_html) and then install WordPress and newspaper. Then import the demo you want with the content.Then copy the shortcodes inside the homepage of the test site and create a new page on my original site and paste the shortcodes there. I then try to modify the look using td composer to match my site look. Maybe you should try it. But you should test thoroughly coz some of the elements may or may not work. (I don’t work here)
I purchased the license for newspaper theme a few days ago. I had bought it to use with one site. But now I am building another site. Can I use my license to install the newspaper theme on my new site? If I cant use on multiple sites, How to unlink my license with old site and link with the new one?
My question is a little vague, but let me explain.
At this point we have say demo 7. And have it modified to our taste (colors, additions, etc. etc.)
Now we have seen demo 2 and would like to implement some of the features (looks, banners, the way the homepage is set up, etc.) to our demo 7. (or.. take some of the features of demo 7 and implement that easily to demo 2). Now.. what is the easiest way to do this without disrupting a lot? I guess I can take apart the homepage of demo 7 and see what I want to keep, switch to demo 2 and put stuff back… but.. what if it messes everything up?
From what I can see, the pages are made up out of building blocks. Is there an easy way to see a homepage of demo 7 and see how that is made up, so that we can implement that to our current homepage?
(without just clicking on demo 2 and hit install and overwrite our whole site with a totally new look (which would trash some of the features we’ve added manually)

I need to create a gallery for to show illustrations in sidebar position, and also in content position. The best should be a grid gallery. I can see TagDiv Composer have a Revolution Slider element, although I need something like Essential Grid. I read a post https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/installing-revolution-slider-crashes-the-entire-site/ (of 2015) where the user explain both plugins crashed the site. I need to know if Revolution slider was tested and if Essential Grid also. And if not, what would be the best solution for to show some images from Media Library? (I don’t want tagDiv Slide Gallery)

The theme tries to update/install tagdiv composer, but if some server configuration doesn’t allow this or some issue appears, you will need to update/install it manually. All the theme plugins are provided into the package that you download from themeforest in /plugins folder – https://www.screencast.com/t/MYV5D4DV4Efz
So probably it was an issue and the theme couldn’t update the plugin, sorry for inconvenience!

I have checked your website on mobile and it seems to work as expected but on Google Page Speed Insights I saw some warnings. Try to make a new install to another sub-domain for testing with a fresh install, use only the theme’s required plugins, clear all the caches and check the results.

Thank you for helping and pointing me to TD composer, it seems it wasn’t there after the update (how bizarre) and installed it again and all is good for now.
Let me clarify what I am doing. For a trial, I have installed Newspaper 8.7 on a fresh WordPress where there is no VC installed. Only TD composer. I imported blogs from our online website which also uses Newspaper but with VC. I am not using TD as yet on the online website.
When I try to create a trial home page on the fresh WordPress installation using TD as mentioned above, the images are displayed differently as shown in my first post on this thread. That is the issue.
I am afraid of trying to regenerate images in case it destroys what we have online which works without any problem. The whole point is about switching to TD composer safely without losing what we have. Hope I am clearer now.

There’s no problem with the license if it will be used only for a project. Normally, the Envato policy allows using a theme only on one install. You can, however, use the theme on a sub-domain if you plan on creating a testing site, but if we are talking about totally different sites with different content, then only one theme per install is legally allowed. I suggest you make a full backup to your database to avoid losing all of your data.
