I’m trying to use a .svg for the main logo in the header. I’ve installed various plugins to try this, all allow me to upload svgs into the media area, and place them on any post or page. However, when I go to the theme panel and select them for the logo image they aren’t visible.

Is there something I have to do to make them load into the logo area on the header.

Am instalat demo-ul vostru default (https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/)
1. Pot sa afisez si ora postarii, nu doar data? (pentru un website de stiri este important cine a publicat primul ca si ora si minut). WordPress implicit la postare are: data, ora si minut.
2. De unde customizez “author box” sa aiba poza si descriere?
3. Unde setez ca la articolele postate icoanele de share sa fie vizibile in mod automat si nu doar apasand icoana + (la voi in demo sunt afisate automat).
4. Pe fiecare poza este scrisa categoria. Are default background color negru si la mouse hover este albastra. Se pot schimba aceste culori din meniu fara custom CSS?
5. Cand editez demo-ul vostru cu TD Composer nu pot edita si “LATEST ARTICLES”, de unde incarcati aceste articole? Din ce locatie le customizez?
6. In footer de unde incarcati EDITOR PICKS si POPULAR POSTS? Din ce locatie le customizez?
7. Se poate ca la o postare care este adaugata in categoria “Featured” sa faca display pe homepage in loc de poza un videoclip Youtube? 8. De unde customizez “popup-ul” cu “mai multe articole” care apare in dreapta jos atunci cand accesezi un anumit articol?

#Sugestii:
1. Logo: Atunci cand ai facut ceva scroll pe pagina si dai scroll sus apare din nou meniul website-ului. Aici ar fi bine daca ar incarca logo-ul din mobile, sau alta varianta. Explicatie: Daca in logo ai un motto, cum aveti voi de exemplu: “the art of publishing” acel text nu mai este lizibil la scroll sus cand reapare meniul (asa este si in cazul meu).
2. Clasa “td-adspot-title” care face display la textul “- Advertisement -” este deja declarata de cei de la Adblock in “spam ads”, acesta clasa ar trebui “schimbata” la fiecare update de tema, sau mai ingenios generata in functie de un parametru unic pentru fiecare client, astfel sa le fie aproape imposibil sa o declare “spam ads” asa usor. Daca verificati cu Adblock plus inclusiv demo-ul vostru o sa vedeti ca “- Advertisement -” nu apare.

Apropo: Tema voastra functioneaza perfect cu Wordfence (antivirus, firewall cu +1 milion instalari active).

I just got the Newspaper theme and am trying to get it set up properly. For the header text logo I’ve typed a word with an apostrophe (Panda’s) but there’s a \ inserted before it so it appears as Panda\’s. How do I fix that?

Two requests:

1) How can I reduce the height of my header in desktop view? I’m talking about the blue area around my logo — my logo image is just as high as its text, and there’s a lot of unnecessary padding.
2) I’d like to remove the dotted lines around the subtitle (which I’ve moved underneath the featured image) and also make the text black. How can I do so?

Hi – I’m struggling a bit with full-width logo. I’m using header style 11.

I’ve created a logo which is 1068×180. This is lovely on a desktop and matches the page width. On a mobile, I don’t want to specify a mobile logo (as it’s a bit small, squashed in between the menu and search icons) so I’m relying on the same 1068×180 logo on mobile too, which displays full-width below the Main Menu. Problem is with mobile display sizes, whitespace padding appears between the Main Menu (at the top) and the logo. Also padding just below the logo to the faint dividing line. I’m wondering if it’s possible to make the scaling a bit more elegant, perhaps top-justify the logo so there’s no white space between Main Menu and logo, and also perhaps lose that divider just below the logo?

I’m finally setting up my newspaper theme and I’m trying to get my host’s ad code set up. I put the information needed in the <head> meta section and then the other part where I want my ad to show in the theme panel ad code section for the header ad but the ads aren’t showing on my site. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or if it’s something to do with the ad code.

So I go back to version 8.2
Is there a real solution?

Newspaper/style.css includes the following code (in 8.6 this is lines 4143-4148):

I found that as a result, there is one pixel where the logo does not look correct — it should be position: initial up to 767px inclusive. So min-width could be 768px instead.

Hi. I’ve just puchased the newspaper theme and editing it to get the look and feel that i want.

I’m currently experiencing a problem with the footer area .

I am looking to use either style 4 or 14 which is a very minimalist look. It’s got some social icons. my logo and some text from the “info content” area.

The problem i have is that it doesnt seem to work. If i choose one of the above, and save it, the footer area doesnt appear like this at all. It’s got popular posts, popular categories, recent posts, recent comments, categories, archive button drop down box.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to why / where its picking up these other elements.

I’m pretty new to this kind of thing, so it might be blidingly obvious to someone, but not me.

I have been trying to resolve this on my own for the last two hours, and I have not had any luck.

What I am trying to do is replace the grey color around my logo in the header to white on the desktop version of my site. I also want to replace the small patch of grey located on the top-right of the search icon.

What I am looking to accomplish is just to have the upper part of the top menu white and not grey.

I do not know if this is the correct way to suggest new improvements to the them, but here I go:

– Better Search bar: In desktop, the search is too small and it could be better a full screen search (like in mobile) and like many websites do. Example: https://pitchfork.com/

– Hamburger Desktop menu: A lot of webs have this feature. You can show the post title as you scroll in the menu and show only website logo and a hamburger menu to open all links, or just show big logo centered.
