This is possible when you will use a cloud/PRO template. In order to have different elements(ads) inside for every category/post, you need to have a different template for each category/post.
If you want the same style of your categories/posts, then you can duplicate a template/layout for every category/post to have a different template, make the specific changes and assign it to that category/post.

If I understand correctly you have different logos on mobile and desktop. Also, you do not use the mobile theme plugin.
IN this case what you need to do is to edit with tagDiv Composer the homepage and select the mobile view port then select the logo and set the one you need (the mobile and header headers are separated) -> https://i.imgur.com/dyxKPTR.png -> https://i.imgur.com/zHbJCdV.png

Yes, you can add different ads for posts and pages.

thanks for your quick reply! RAW HTML does the same (opening and directly closing the tag). I’m using WebPExpress, and alter the HTML for my site via filtering hooks. By doing so, unfortunately, it doesn’t transform the featured image that automatically gets placed on top of an article (and also not the logo in the header / footer). So I was trying to wrap the featured image in a picture-tag, but I’m not sure if that will help anyways.
When I change to output buffering it works on the whole site, including featured image and logo. But then I have the problem that the logo is flashing when switching between pages, which doesn’t feel so smooth then anymore. Having CloudFlare (Free) as a CDN, so I can’t switch to replace image URLs.
Do you maybe have a solution / an idea how I can tweak this best?

Seems you have added two logos, and seems the menu button is under the logo image https://i.imgur.com/jNJIJQe.png please try to delete that logo or redo the header.

I believe that you have set a header style that allow you to set a logo image with the size you want (header style 7, 8 and 10 -> https://i.imgur.com/5qU06B0.png), now all you need to do is to upload a logo with the image size you want and choose it in full size (you can also use a thump size) -> https://i.imgur.com/VjR3Vhy.png -> https://i.imgur.com/fg6DJVg.png

I enabled mobile theme by using mobile plugin. Everything works great, however on posts pages, search button is positioned left and on top of my logo. How can I either place search button on right or place logo in the middle.

You need to drag and drop the element onto your page and not just click on it.
You can adjust the logo differently in the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB, so then it will fit there.
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. Edit the page with TagDiv Composer. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB; there you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and design for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Thank you, Bettina! I see where I can add the header date I can’t see where it goes after I click it? Where is it?
I think I may have to put it back into the header since my header logo it too wide.
On a related issue, I can see that on the mobile portrait view of site omits my header logo completely and instead substitutes the Amsomia default menu. In the landscape view and the tablet view, the correct header is displayed, even if it is squeezed with the Email US button on the right side is pushed to the center.
So it looks like my header logo is too big for the banner and I will have to reduce its width. What is the maximum width of the header logo I can use so that it looks good in both mobile views?
Also how can I change my header logo?

However, I think I’ve figured it out. Because there was a small space at the left margin next to the logo icon, I inserted a padding space of -24 and that eliminated the space. I also followed your original advice on removing the 20 px padding at the top and bottom of the header logo. So now the header logo is flush with the header menu. I will send along a screenshot to your email so you can see it.
But I wonder if it is Ok for a padding value to be negative. Will this be a problem?
