Ok, I solved the problem. The links didn’t help at all for that. But I thought: Hey, when there is stuff to minify, why not use a plugin? I already used the plugin Merge + Minify + Refresh, but that doesn’t minify html. So I switched to Autoptimize. It minifies these inline style tags. Problem solved.
Hi,
In wich folder do I need to put my minified CSS ?
I mean, I added some custom code in theme panel, but it’s not the best way to add code no ? I want to minify it and put it in te right folder via cpanel.
Thank you
Hi there,
I’ve tested my site on GTmetrix and it says the page size is 6.30mb, which is much higher than industry average.
I’ve performed the following actions:
– Optimize Images
– Minify and Combine CSS and JavaScript Assets
– Use a Content Delivery Network (Cloudflare)
– Leverage Browser Caching
But still the page size is still rather large. Could you let me know if I’m doing the right improvements, or if I need to be doing something else?
Thanks,
Hayes

Hello, yes i use WP Rocket to minify my JS files. In 9.8 it worked with the SAME settings, but in 10.1, WP Rocket creates for every page a minifiyed JS File because 3 Parts are diffrent on every site. I linked it in the last posts.
And i know WP Rocket is not a tested Plugin from you. I dont want that you help me support with wp rocket. WP Rocket works fine, but it creates a JS File for every page, because something in the template loads on everypage a diffrent JS.
I want to know what I did wrong when I created the template that the part on the three images on each page is different.
Hope you understand my problem
Thanks!
Hi Calin,
So, I removed cloudflare and Fast Velocity Minify and WP Optimize.
The only cache left is LSCache. That’s all. Nothing else.
In the Theme Panel, my mobile theme is set to Mobile + AMP.
In the AMP menu, the settings are:
– Website is checked
– Your install is configured via theme to use the Trasitional mode
– Supported templates: Posts, Pages, Singular and Homepage are checked
In Yoast AMP, only Posts and Pages are enabled.
But still, I have this bug on desktop:
https://ibb.co/qMQvCmj
https://ibb.co/hfb1TT2
How can I fix this once for all?
If we cannot fix this issue, is there a way to fully disable AMP?
Thanks
Hi,
My websites are showing AMP pages on desktop from time to time: https://ibb.co/cgtpmnH
I use LSCache + Fast Velocity Minify on one.
I use WP Super Cache + Fast Velocity Minify + Cloudflare on the other one.
I use WP Optimize on both of them but the cache is disabled on this plugin.
I’ve been looking everywhere and tried to change some setting but I really don’t understand this behaviour.
Maybe is it due to my AMP setting?
Here is a screenshot: https://ibb.co/Hgh4Vjr
Should I change something?
Thanks
You’ll probably have to do minimize and combine your css to unblock the page rendering… I’ve used Fast Velocity Minify and WP-Rocket Cache to accomplish this. There are many alternatives (such as Clearfy which does many other things).
Update, I managed to find a compatible Plugin: Fast Velocity Minify.
I’d still appreciate any tips though.

I did everything to speed up my web site. the only problem I got is while testing in https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.hostingping.com/4Fci3NIf it is asking to minify CSS and the same error in google page speed.
how can I reduce CSS load time
Hi,
I have updated from the 9.7.2 to the 9.7.4 version. I have also updated the tagdivcomposer and tagdiv cloud library plugins. I have emptied the cache.
Unfortunately, and for the first time due to your theme, my website has been broken.
I deactivated minify and WP Rocket. It has not solved my issue.
I had to restaure the 9.7.2 version and the previous tagdivcomposer and tagdiv cloud library plugins’ versions. It has fixed the issue. Therefore, the problem come from your theme.
What is the problem ? How can I update the theme ? Can you help me please ?
Thanks for your answer.
Best regards,
Gregory
After check site speed in GTMetrix. I am getting a common error “Minify JavaScript and CSS” in YSlow section. That is —
There are 13 components that can be minified
inline <style> tag #2
inline <style> tag #4
inline <style> tag #5
inline <style> tag #6
inline <style> tag #7
inline <style> tag #8

inline <style> tag #10
inline <style> tag #11
inline <style> tag #14
inline <style> tag #15
inline <script> tag #8
inline <script> tag #10
This is a common issue I found before when working on a client site. Please let me know how can I remove this error.
Thanks

Kindly update me in this issue
Hello, the problem is solved!
We have remove the plugin WP Super Minify that we activated few days ago and the website is functionning well now.
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately we can not recommend a plugin for this, because we did not tested any kind of them and we do not know if those will work properly with our theme or not.
What you should do is to make an environment for testing and try there some plugins for minify js
-> https://www.devsaran.com/blog/10-best-javascript-minifying-tools
This is our list with tested plugins with our theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/cmPkh9jba4sZ
Thank you!
Quick update, I went through all of my plugins and discovered the error was being triggered by SG Optimizer (Siteground Plugin). By unclicking the Minify Javascript button, it fixed the problem.
With that said, is there a preferred pluggin for minifying javascript?
Thank you.

Hi,
Please check this article about How to Minify CSS / JavaScript Files in WordPress -> https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-minify-css-javascript-files-in-wordpress/
Thank you!
Hi,
If you want to change the time for lazy load you need to go in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.js make the changes and Minify the JavaScript https://javascript-minifier.com/ and replace the code from wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js with the new mimify JavaScript code ( the Newspaper theme use the tagdiv_theme.min.js file)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/EOr5kVVigeNq
Also notice that after each update these changes will be lost and you’ll need to make theme again.
Thank you!
Cloudflare is good for this, also means you don’t need to set up a minifying plugin and save speed. It’s also very easy to set up. I’ve saved 33% of loading time using this.
Autoptimize is also great, this may interest you in setting it up: https://www.thenerdystudent.com/2019/05/newspaper-speed/#autoptimize
What is the best recommended plugin to minify the html and css files without going into complex codings to make the page speed faster…
Hi,
The lazy load function can be found in tagdiv_theme.js -> wp-content/themes/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.js , also please note that the theme use the js code from td_wp_admin.min.js so after you make the changes in js you need to Minify the js code and replace the code in td_wp_admin.min.js
Thank you!
