Hi,

In your example is the menu for mobile, if I understand correctly you want to have the same effect on the page you want to make for FAQ, if is so in order to achieve that you can use a plugin like this one Show-Hide / Collapse-Expand https://wordpress.org/plugins/show-hidecollapse-expand/

Thank you for your understanding.

Accordion - topic

Hi,

I’m making a FAQ page and would like to use an accordion to hide/show the answers.

I noticed there already is a kind of accordion in my mobile menu:
https://ibb.co/ivL2AV

Is there a way to use this (including the moving arrow) in my page content as well? Or should I create a new accordion for my page?

Thanks again!

The main menu dropdown items are only clikable after everything else have loaded on the page, too late.
On mobile you can see the menu items but with transparent background, you need to again wait for everything to load to see it.
How can i make this menu load faster before everything. What is it waiting for?

Hi Simion,

Thank you so much for your reply.

I’ve added the custom CSS for the top menu – it works now but it adds the admin bar in mobile (it appears on every 5-6 refresh) – please see below. (

Hi,

Our AMP plugin does not have a menu at the moment. Most of the design for AMP has been inspired from the Yoast SEO website, example
https://yoast.com/social-media-optimization-with-yoast-seo/amp/
Maybe a menu will be included in the future, can’t say for sure what will happen.

The logo that will be displayed in AMP pages is the one set for mobile, in the theme panel

Hello team,

Some pages of my website are not visible from the mobile. I can access the page from the footer menu, but when I enter, there is no content, only the title.

It is a big problem, because they are pages of legal notice, privacy policy, cookies, etc. ….

Some examples of how it is seen from my mobile phone:

My website url: https://bit.ly/2RJy1ny

What could be the problem?

Although I am not a developer, AMP is known as accelerated mobile pages. It is separate from the mobile version of your website. Just beware that although amp is great for ranking and search for mobile users, it does disable some features from the regular version of your site, for me it disables the main site menu … For some this is perfectly fine and most sites that have amp do not have a menu, but just know that. The short answer to your question is yes, you can use both. All AMP does it strip down the post so it loads faster. Your post may look a little different than your regular mobile version of the site. Also know that once you enable amp, that is pretty much all google will show for mobile users and going back after you enable amp can be tricky

Hi,

I’m referring to Lifestyle Blog demo, https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_blog_lifestyle/

Here is my live blog using this demo content after installed, https://www.cikhijau.com/

I noticed 2 major differences after installed the demo compared with the one in your demo site.

1. If you click at the each post details page, you can see the differences of the layout. How can I get the exact layout as your demo?

2. In mobile view, side menu, when click the 1st level menu, it’s not working (not opening any page), different from your demo site which is working fine. And for nested menu (2nd level), it’s working (opening the related page) but the layout of the page is different from your demo site. How to fix this?

Really appreciate your helps & advice.
Thanks in advance.

Hi

this is what happen in mobile version when i click on a single article or menu
https://imgur.com/a/sYgZMe6
the blue selection covers the whole screen rather than being circumscribed in the article on which I click.

Is there any setting that I have to change? I’ve seen other sites with your theme and it’s not happening

I also would like to change the color of the filter menu in the block after the 3 featured image. You can see it in the second image above. The background is too white and it is not very readable because it is a bit ‘transparent

thanks

Hello Support Team,

I want to use Smart Snap only for mobile devices and for that I also selected Smart Snap (mobile) option on the Theme panel. After selecting this option Smart Snap menu working perfectly on mobile devices. But the desktop menu also becomes Smart Snap now. I want to make desktop menu sticky and mobile menu smart snap. But it’s not working.

Please provide a solution, how to make Desktop menu sticky and mobile menu smart snap. My website url is, http://www.webexam.in

Hi,

1. I believe you are referring to the category tags – http://prntscr.com/likf3f
Those have predefined colors, they could only be changed with CSS, not by a theme setting.

I could try and give you a solution, mention for which elements you want to change the color, which blocks and where. A link to the website/page would be helpful so I can test.

For example something like this would work for all the category tags at once
https://www.screencast.com/t/kFYKB3RkS

.td-post-category {
background-color: blue;
color: black;
}

2. Maybe something like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/1IPmNEYmVI
The menu will start from the right if you enter this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS

@media (min-width: 767px) {
#td-header-menu .sf-menu li {
float: right;
margin-right: 14px;
}}

3. I could take a look, provide a link to where the grid is in your website and exact details about what you want to do.

4. Seems the theme will override the font weight on mobile, it will set a font-weight of 600, so the one from the theme panel will not apply anymore
https://www.screencast.com/t/rhlVigkI6Hh
I will add this on our list of issues, I don’t think this is intended to happen. As a quick fix I could give you a code to make sure your desired font weight applies. For example
https://www.screencast.com/t/t5hkyCyH

.td_block_big_grid_4 .td-small-thumb .entry-title {
font-weight: 100!important;
}

Let me know.

Thanks

1- How can I change the color of the category label that appears under the title of each news item? I would like it to be red
2- Is it possible to align the menu links on the right side, next to the magnifying glass?
3- I have managed to modify the padding top of the cover, but in the “big grid” of the categories it keeps appearing below and I do not know how to modify it.
4- I tried to change the thickness of the font of the small thumbnails of the big grid 4 but in the mobile version they still appear with normal thickness.

We’ve created a homepage in Newsmag. The site width looks good in several browsers on a phone. But, in Google Chrome the site is too wide on a phone. On the left edge of the site, the text has no padding or margin.

The text is against the edge of the screen. To look professional, the text needs some padding or margin. And, some of the mobile menu button is hidden. That’s the button in the top left corner of the screen.

The page can be slightly moved from side-to-side with a finger swipe. But, it shouldn’t need to have a finger swipe to reposition the site on the screen. The site should pull up and be centered.

Is the page content centering properly?

Whats’ the problem with the site displaying in Chrome?

This is important because Chrome is one of the most used browsers.

The site is business-stability.com.

Hi,

1/2/4 Regarding the ads issues, shouldn’t be any problems with Adsense ads. As long as your Adsense accounting is fully approved the ads should be served by Google and be visible at all times
https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/76228?hl=en
https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/7584263?hl=en&ref_topic=1391540
https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9724?hl=en
https://support.google.com/adsense/troubleshooter/7049023?hl=en

3/5 If no ads are displayed in the website then it could be that Google is not serving them to your website for some reason.

The mobile theme is a highly simplified version of the website, the performance on mobile will be significantly increased when active. When inactive the same content from desktop will be loaded on mobile.
So browsing with a slow internet connection would benefit if the mobile theme plugin is active.
However regardless of using the plugin or not, you should be able to use the mobile menu. Check in browser inspector console and see if there are any errors that could indicate why the menu can’t be used. Maybe it is a conflict with a plugin, code entered in the theme panel or theme files, child theme, or theme modifications.

6. The height of the top menu or the main menu is affected by the line-height setting
https://www.screencast.com/t/1sszfdZ75T
Change the value of the line height and the overall height will be affected.

7. The theme doesn’t have any zooming settings, should be as the live theme demo for example
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
How does it look for you exactly? I could take a look at this and the mobile menu issue if you could post a link to the website.

Thanks

Hi,

1. If those are shortcodes provided by Visual composer then they wouldn’t be rendered by the tagDiv composer. They won’t be recognized. Blocks, grids and other theme specific elements will work with both composers because they are available in both.

On the other hand, if those shortcodes are provided by a plugin, in the tagDiv composer they can be entered in a column text for example
https://www.screencast.com/t/EeFM8r6L

2. The top menu is not displayed on mobile. If necessary it can be made visible with some CSS, for example
https://www.screencast.com/t/WYd9WoqoR
I removed the socials because they are also displayed in the mobile menu window, if you want them in the top menu as well as in the mobile menu I will modify the code. Let me know.

Enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS section, then the top menu will appear on mobile.

@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu,
.td-header-top-menu-full,
.td-header-sp-top-menu {
display: block!important;
text-align: center;
}
.td-social-icon-wrap{
display:none;
}}

Thanks

Hi there,

Hope you’re well. I’m trying to disable the Visual Composer (as its not recommended to use both), but i’m having some issues:

1. Shortcodes – it wouldn’t render shortcodes like for me [jobs per_page=”12″ show_filters=”false”] or [adrotate=”12″] – how do I get these working with the new composer?

2. Not related to Tag Div composer – but TOP HEADER MENU doesn’t display on mobile. Could you please advise.

Thanks and best wishes,

Hi,

1. What kind of ads are you using? I could take a look, post a link to the website.

2. I could take a look here as well, ads for AMP have to be entered in the Theme panel AMP section. For Adsense ads you have to enter these parameters
https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/7183212?hl=en
https://www.screencast.com/t/rBr4FTlcH5X
Simple HTML ads can be entered in the dedicated section
https://www.screencast.com/t/W3d2qwNJhS
Be sure to test with a mobile or mobile editor to see if the ads appear.

3. That happens because the mobile theme plugin is active. This plugin is optional, it is intended to be used if you want to display a simpler and also different content on mobile.
You have to create 2 versions for each page, one with the composer for example as you did for that page, and one with the simple mobile editor
https://www.screencast.com/t/vSh8aLuBzjgT
As I said the plugin is optional, so if you want to display the same content from desktop on mobile, deactivate it. More info about the mobile theme here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

4. Some header styles display the header ad below the menu and logo for example
https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
There are also plans to introduce a header builder in coming updates, this will add a considerable amount of flexibility concerning the header section.

Thanks

Hello Valerio,

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to do this, sorry! If you want to trigger the mobile menu for different width, notice that you need to edit the js file of the theme and make it yourself the required changes for this functionality. Notice that’s not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Thanks for your understanding!
