Hello acarter960,

1. If you want to change the MENU BACKGROUND COLOR from red in other color -> http://prntscr.com/p4kvko -> http://prntscr.com/p4kvqv -> http://prntscr.com/p4kw21 some times there are users that use cache plugins or other plugins that interfere with the theme, that is way we suggest to try only with theme plugins.

2. In order to change the color on responsive version you need to change this settings -> http://prntscr.com/p4kyii -> http://prntscr.com/p4kz36 or if you are using the mobile theme plugin you need to change the color from here -> http://prntscr.com/p4kzfg
Theme colors introduction -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-colors-introduction/

3. You do not need to have developer skills, you need to know basic WordPress and to check our documentation to know how to use our theme.

Hope this will help you, if you have other questions, let us know!
Thank you!

Hello,

I think that was a misunderstanding, you can achieve what you need with both versions ( mobile theme and responsive version ), if you do not want to use the mobile theme you can use the responsive version and a header template, indeed this option isn’t in the base theme functionality it is only if you use cloud template.

Thank you!

So, after looking at the mobile theme guide (https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/), I decided to disable the mobile theme except for AMP. This means that when you visit the site from a phone, you’ll get theme’s responsive design as the default. This essentially fixes the issue of my pages not showing any content.

The solution was to go to Theme Panel > Mobile Theme > Use Mobile For > AMP only.

Thanks!

Thank you Calin. I had a lot of problems with the mobile theme plug-in so I won’t be able to use your solution. I realize the plug-in was made for fast mobile viewing but it just doesn’t accomplish what I need. I wonder if in the future more flexibility will be integrated into the default mobile theme.

Hi Vlad,

disabling the mobile theme for this specific page would be fine. Unfortunately, I can not find this setting on my page using the classic editor. Can you please provide me a code that does the same as the toggle on Guttenberg editor?

Thanks in advance!

Hello !

The designs do not match because you are using the mobile theme. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.

Unfortunately you cannot have the design you want. If you disable the mobile theme you will have the same layout as on desktop.

Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:

If yes, how can I disable the mobile theme for selected pages only?

When I insert Visual Composer shortcodes on the mobile theme page, they work perfectly. But if I use tagdiv blocks (in this case “Authors Box”, they are not displayed). Is that intentional?

Hello,

My AMP settings look like your too -> http://prntscr.com/p44nfy in order to have this “layout” you need to have the mobile theme plugin and one of these two option need to be set -> http://prntscr.com/p44o98 if you are not use the mobile theme plugin, only the amp will look like this -> http://prntscr.com/p44pen

The above article is about the change that Google will make , soon there will be a new implementation for amp to not longer be store on google and to be on your website, and yes this will solve your problem.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hello,

Yes, this is possible, if you are using the mobile theme plugin -. http://prntscr.com/p440ttor if you are using the responsive version you’ll need to use a header template from tagDiv Cloud Library and set it on mobile version http://prntscr.com/p442hy

Thank you!

Hi,

The amp version can be change only if you are using the mobile theme and choose one of this option http://prntscr.com/opfq3m ( amp and mobile theme or only am and responsive version ) the settings that you make in mobile theme will reflect in amp too -> http://prntscr.com/opfqmm -> http://prntscr.com/opfr1o
Also in validator you need to set the url of a page or link follow by the “/?amp”
-> https://search.google.com/test/amp?id=FafHjTAmY7ieEMo_6Rum5A this will not work for your website url ( this one https://thethctimes.com/?amp ).

Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

about disabling the mobile theme for certain pages like you showe here: https://www.screencast.com/t/b9FlHW8fuw / . it seems the option only shows when using the gutenburg editor. But when i switch to this and save, the page says “updating failed”. Another time when i tried editing again it said “this page is not created with tagdiv composer”.

Is there any way to access these setting when using the tagdiv composer interface?

Hi,

Usually this is a cache problem, when the mobile version is apply to desktop, please make sure that you clear all cache and try again.

The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se

Also in Newspaper v9.7.4 you can show the responsive version on mobile theme -> http://prntscr.com/oh6r2s you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!
