Unfortunately, at the moment the theme does not have an option to customize the mobile version. The desktop version is just adjusted to display correctly on mobile. Maybe in a future version we will be able to implement such options.
If you want to hide the sidebar on mobile you can if you use CSS to customize it. At the moment, on the mobile version the sidebar moves to the bottom of the content.
You can hide it by using this code:
@media (max-width:767px){
.td-main-sidebar{
display:none!important
}
}
This applies if the sidebar is a standard sidebar from the widgets area. If you create your sidebar in visual composer when creating a page and using column layout it will have to be targeted different.

I am referring to all menu related plugins. They are not tested with our theme and we cannot assure their functionality.
The mobile version of our theme was not meant to display the top menu by default. You can see this on our official demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/#
Check the mobile version of the demo and see how the theme is supposed to display the menu items.
These menu plugins seem to display fine in the desktop version, but maybe you can deactivate them for the mobile version as they seem to create problems.
Please disable your menu plugins and check the mobile menu again and see if the dorpdown works without plugins.

The problem in the mobile version comes from the visual composer row settings. I have tested this myself and found that a full height row and other settings will cause this effect on the mobile version. These visual composer row options were not adjusted to work with the theme 100%. We usually recommend the default values set on the VC row. In your case you can use the default values on the row and just select the stretch row no padding value.(you can try different variations to see different results)

The top menu was not intended to be displayed on the mobile version of the theme. We are working on fixes for the mobile menu and hopefully in a future version we will be able to provide a more complex mobile menu. Your problems with the menu originate from your custom/plugin menus. The theme was not meant to support other menus than the original ones. Adding extra menus and replacing the original ones could result in errors such as the one you described.

Unfortunately we do not have different versions of the theme for desktop/mobile. The same post you set in the desktop version is going to be shown in the mobile one. You could try to find a plugin that changes the theme on the mobile version but we cannot assure it will work because we have not tested these plugins. If you cannot find a plugin that works, you will need custom modifications to get it done and unfortunately we cannot offer any custom work at the moment. You can hire a freelancer to do it for you if you want from sites like studio.envato.com
