Hello vibolsun65,

Sorry, but at the moment, your website it seems to be unavailable, unfortunately!
Check here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/fn5vCm6l6d

Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized.
-> https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=ro&url=https%3A%2F%2Finsanertech.com%2F&tab=mobile

Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit our requirements.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. If you want to read other views from our users, please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tip-how-to-easily-minify-your-css-without-breaking-your-site/
Also, check all of your Ad Spots and if you have entered any suspicious code through them, remove all of them and check the results without them.

One of our top members here on the forum wrote his own optimization tutorial here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-chriss-custom-optimizations-for-functions-php-etc/ and here -> https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/

Basically, these are the theme requirements

Hi,

Glad you solved it. I could take a look to see what scroll are you referring to exactly. Post a link to the page where I can check with a mobile.

Thanks

No, those modules are different. In this case I can only place the tag in a fixed position, so if it’s larger or the article title is longer it will not look nice, the text will be covered up, it will not adapt.

Maybe leave it as it was before and reduce the font on mobile for example, so it will not cover the thumbnail so much

Hi,

I do not use the mobile theme as the one that comes with the main theme works well enough.

The problem I am having is in trying to find out where I can delete/disable the social media icons that appear on the menu sign (three stripes in upper left corner) on a mobile screen?

These icons don’t appear on my desktop screen in any of the menu bars, so not sure why they still appear on the mobile screen.

Could you please help.

Thanks.

**This issue is resolved**

For anyone else experiencing the same issue, assuming you back up your WordPress website regularly, just change the name of the mobile folder inside wp-content > themes > newspaper > mobile to mobile_orig (or any new name) and then upload your backed up mobile folder prior to your mobile site not loading. This fix is for developers using the td_mobile plugin. Check your site on a mobile device. Assuming this fixes the problem you can then delete the mobile_orig folder.

Cheers

I wanted to show the excerpt on mobile devices such as iphones.

In the composer it would be easy, select the view port and set sizes or each one. So for example I can set a 50px font size for the column title on desktop
https://www.screencast.com/t/awpkwpm40MJc
And a 25px font size on mobilehttps://www.screencast.com/t/Ykvie0ppn

It can be done with CSS, the solution form above is basically CSS but the design make is easy to use without needing to create code.
Use a code like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/oy2YLf27KDzo

.page-id-349 .td-page-title {
font-size: 75px;
}

It will apply only on that page. You can modify the value of the size, then enter the code in the tablets section and phones if you want it to apply only there.
For example – https://www.screencast.com/t/274JKAT6S

Code

Hello, I have already been able to solve the problem.
I have enlarged the size of the group of banners that contained the cut banners.
On the web the banners are 1068 x 275 pixels and in the mobile 300 x 500, then I have defined the group in 1068 x 500.
I solved it from the AdRotate Pro plugin. Not the theme.

thank you anyway!

Hello tmaghrebt,

I have checked your website but I did not saw any problem with your site, sorry! Do you are using the mobile theme?

Thanks for your message!

Hi,

You mean it is completely blank when the mobile plugin is active? Please provide a link to your website so I can take a look.
Did you try to deactivate all other plugins, leave only theme plugins active? could be conflict of some kind.

Simion C.

Hi,

The optional mobile theme plugin is active from what I can see. When this plugin is active the website will not display the same content from desktop on mobile.
Each page will need two versions, one for desktop built in any way possible, and one for mobile with the simple mobile editor
https://www.screencast.com/t/cwW4MmEwWiv9

Note that the plugin is optional, activate it only if you choose to display a different and simpler version of the website on mobile
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you want to show the same content from desktop, deactivate it.

Thanks

Hello,

Sorry but we have not tested the mentioned plugin so we cannot provide any solution. The mobile editor only shows up for pages, not for posts. Unfortunately there are no suggestions i can provide other than disabling the mobile theme plugin or creating your CPT in a different way. Maybe with a different plugin. Our CPT demo plugin adds a new CPT called books and the CPT can be seen on the mobile theme properly: https://www.screencast.com/t/dltGZuZxQ

Thank you!

Out mobile site is no longer showing. We are using the mobile plugin. I tried disabling and re-enabling it and when I disable it the full site shows, but when I go back to enabling it we have no site on mobile.

I have a problem with the mobile version.
Going to the bottom, on the personal menu, where there are the items “About me”, “Contact me” and “Cookie policy”, etc… clicking above, leads me to the link, but does not show me the content, that I display correctly in the desktop version.
The site is http://www.giorgiodmb.eu

Hello,

As per your documentation, to use with a Custom Post Type, I have created a custom template “single-myCPT.php” in Newspaper Child Theme.

It works great, on the regular desktop version but does not work in the Mobile theme, displaying header/footer of the website correctly, but no content, exactly as If I didn’t fill the Mobile Editor. ..But being a CPT, I do not have the Mobile Editor Showing up in WP admin when I edit the CPTs. ( the CPT is created using plugin POD )

Are there any solution or workaround ? besides disabling mobile theme of course.. ( I just want do display the same content as the Desktop theme )

Hi,

There are navigation buttons at the end of the post, like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/5Y57nZrMHw8
Those buttons will allow you to navigate through posts. They will appear with or without the mobile theme plugin.

If you mean something similar to infinite loading, like as soon as the post content end is reached the next one will load, that is not possible at the moment.

Thanks

Hi, Simion. Click on a news item and scroll down and there it appears. This capture that I put to you now is of the computer version, but the version that I want I only want to modify it in the mobile and tablet. Thank you.
