Hi,

Using the mobile theme and AMP is no longer recommended as it once was.
Mobile theme and amp ar limited you can use only the theme panel options under mobile theme
Also, for pages you need to set manually the content in mobile editor, content that must be created using the mobile edito,r not other builders and not copy/past the page content in mobile editor
https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Related to cache, when you are not using the responsive version, then you need to use a separate cache for the mobile version, otherwise the mobile version will be displayed on desktop and the desktop version on mobile.

Thank you!

I tried enabling and disabling mobile compatibility in WP Super Cache https://prnt.sc/vEdkFtg0TECd (plugin in spanish) , and in both cases, the content is displayed with a different template https://prnt.sc/o3Te2FzoY6WM

Hello.
The desktop version of my website has one design (https://prnt.sc/I0uH7lf5lCr5 ) and maintains the same content when viewed on a mobile device (https://prnt.sc/nUXHeWgXwVo_ ). However, when I activate plugin TagDiv Mobile Theme + AMP version, a different design appears (https://prnt.sc/o3Te2FzoY6WM ). I found how to customize the colors and logos in Theme Panel, but I need to customize which content is displayed (not only styles). Is this possible? How and where do I do it?

Even when I am not logged in. I tried the MAC station at the library it did the same thing. This has been going on for over three months. I have rebooted the Ipad several times. The iphone displays the mobile APP but the Ipad is displaying the desktop with the slider images

Hi,
You can use the tagDiv Mobile theme, but, if you choose to do it, then you need to use the theme panel settings for it, the responsive version will no longer be used and teh layout and content will be different.
You can check all that can be done using the mobile theme plugin from our documentation:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/

So we shouldn’t be using the mobile plugin anymore? My Pagespeed numbers went down quite a bit after enabling that plugin. If I disable it, they will go back up.

Hi,
If you are referring to mobile version, please disable the td mobile theme plugin and use the responsive theme version, then you’ll be able to use tgaDiv Composer to edit the header version – https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/
Thank you!

If you look at my site on mobile https://independenttoys.news the hamburger menu is in the header. Anyone know of a way to remove that completely?

Hi,
Please disable the tagDiv Mobile theme and amp plugins, clear all cache, and check again; it should be displaying the responsive version.
To set the logo on the responsive version, use tagDiv Composer, select the mobile viewport and replace the mobile logo – https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/ https://i.imgur.com/6FG3i0K.png

I have the Today News theme installed, but the mobile headers are not displaying the headers I’ve indicated in the editor.
Our main site is at ourtimepress.com, and the mobile header is supposed to mimic the desktop header in font and color. The screenshots show what I’m seeing in the mobile theme editor, and what I’m actually seeing on a mobile device. I’ve tried everything I can to correct this problem. Nor can I get the correct author to display on the mobile page. Please advise.
What I’m seeing on the editor: https://ibb.co/hJ2VFmWw
What I’m seeing on a device: https://ibb.co/Pv8YXgyz

TY for getting back. Yes I understand that a cloud footer can be used but that does not seem to solve this problem. If i try to edit it with theme builder it gives me an error.

I have disabled both mobile and amp but the regular theme, in responsive mode does not seem to display properly on mobile. How do I solve this?

Hi,
If you want to hide it, then you can use the tagDiv composer, select the mobile viewport, select the Big Grid Flex 2, and in the CSS tab, use the option for displaying the element – https://i.imgur.com/n8uXzUr.png. This option will hide the element on that viewport.
To see all hidden elements you can use the option from the manager – https://i.imgur.com/vg1bFfx.png
Thank you!

Hello,
I’m trying to run responsive, no mobile theme, no amp. I’m facing an peculiar issue where the theme displays fine on the home page but doesn’t display properly on any posts or pages.

1. When mobile theme plugin disabled, posts show h1 text in place of graphic logo, and footer doesn’t display or displays oddly because I’m seeing @newspaper wordpress theme by tagdiv on the footer.

If I try to edit this footer it tells me you cannot edit this type of footer.

I’ve cleared cache a bazillion times, What could this be?

Hello team,
I hope you are doing well.

I am using the Newspaper theme for my news website, and I really need some assistance. I am not very technical, so I’m worried about breaking something on my site.

Recently, I found a theme/template inside tagDiv Cloud that I really liked and want to apply. But before I do that, I am scared that I might:

Lose my existing posts, pages, categories, or design settings

Misplace my logo

Mess up the homepage layout

Break the mobile/desktop structure

Or accidentally overwrite something important

I genuinely do not have much experience with WordPress or theme editing, so I kindly request help from someone in the team or any senior member who can guide me step-by-step.

What exactly I need help with:

Safely applying the new theme/template without losing any existing data.

Keeping all my categories intact and mapped correctly.

Adding my logo in the correct place matching the new design.

Making sure my homepage looks clean and matches the template I am selecting.

Any recommended settings to avoid layout issues.

If needed, I can share screenshots or temporary access (after instructions) so the process is done safely.

I will be extremely grateful if someone from the tagDiv team or an experienced community member can help me, as I’ve been struggling with this for a long time and really want to improve my website and please help me as I honestly have no technical knowledge

Thank you so much in advance!

Is there a way to hide the Big Grid Flex 2 only in the mobile version?
I like it for all versions except mobile because the scroll bar is annoying.
I’d like it to always be displayed except in the mobile version, but if I remove it, it disappears from all four screen versions.
Or is there a way to hide the Big Grid Flex 2 posts with the scroll bar only in the mobile version?

Hi,
If you drag the mobile menu element, it will load across the entire screen. However, if you’re looking for a more modern solution, you can use the popup element to create a menu on a separate page. Once the page is created, set its ID in the popup menu and choose the icon you want to display.

Thank you!

I have a template that I’m trying to customize. I’d like to add a mobile menu to it. I open the template using the TD composer editor. Then, I chose the mobile icon. What I see is a red rectangle that says “Popup Modal”. That’s where I’m trying to drag and drop a “mobile menu” but unsuccessfully. Can you talk me through how to set it up correctly please? Thank you!

Thank you! This partially solved my problem, as now the article intended to be on the top is indeed on the top on mobile view as well. However, it seems my template is split into two columns. Main article is in the right column, and because of the reverse order it came to top now. Which is fine. But I would like to see elements of my left column above certain elements of the right column. So on mobile view the ideal order would be: top two elements of my right column, then first element of my left column, then next two elements of my right column, the the remaining ones from left column, etc…

Can this be done somehow in the current format? Or the solution will be to somehow organize everything into one column rather than two and then select order or “inner row”s and “inner column”s?

Thank you!

Hi,
1- On the cart page, the product price is displayed in the center.
How can I move it to the left?

2- In the mobile layout, how can I reverse all the elements compared to the demo?
Meaning, how can I make everything display from right to left?

Hi,

1. The product title is not right-aligned; how can I align it to the right? (I’ve marked it with a red arrow.)

2. Also, the cart total is displayed too close together. How can I make it appear like the demo template? (I’ve marked it with a green arrow.)
It displays correctly on mobile.

3. On mobile, the price and quantity are also shown too close together.
I’ve marked this with a blue arrow.

Hi,
In case you are not using the mobile theme plugin, then there are two other 2 situations.
Unfortunately, i can not see the image because the Cloudflare is down – https://i.imgur.com/DnPm99f.png
– in case you are using a mobile page /template https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
– in case you are using the option to disable the desktop zone on mobile and the mobile zone on desktop – https://i.imgur.com/TT2slI3.png https://i.imgur.com/jWPKhXS.png
In the above scenarios, there is a need to use a cache that can create and provide a cache per device (mobile and desktop cache), most of the cache plugins have this option.
Thank you!

Hi,
We are using the Newspaper theme on elubaczow.com.
The theme seems to generate different HTML for mobile and desktop.
This causes issues with full-page caching (sometimes the cached mobile HTML is served to desktop users and vice versa).
I think so and I received this information from the hosting provider.

Is there an option in the theme or in the tagDiv Composer / Mobile Theme plugin to disable device-specific HTML output and use a single unified HTML structure (with only CSS-based responsiveness)?

If not, what is the recommended way to configure caching (plugin and server-level) for Newspaper to avoid this issue?

The problem only occurs for users who are not logged in.

I have the “tagDiv Mobile Theme” plugin disabled.

Is the problem something else?

Incorrect loading: https://prnt.sc/Ao3ObgNt1cia
It displays a completely different header – unused, and the rest of the page falls apart.

Correct loading: https://prnt.sc/n7TnA1Ls_ibw

Hi,
I checked your website, and it appears you have the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin. Also, the cache used does not have the option for a separate mobile cache version, so the mobile version is displaying on desktop.
Please go to plugins and disable the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin, after that clear all cache and the responsive version will be used.
Thank you!

Hi,
For this you need to edit the page/template using tagDiv Composer and select the row, and mobile viewport, then in the layout tab select the reverse column and layout one under other – https://i.imgur.com/Nm9Dj4u.png
