Using tagdiv mobile theme. I changed the settings in newspaper > mobile theme > theme colors > gradient colors
Still no change
I need to edit the mobile menu. There is an image behind the blue coloring and I can’t get rid of the coloring. https://ibb.co/Qnqvsmx
Hi,
Is it possible to move featured image for the post inside article after several paragraphs?
I am trying to optimize Core Web Vitals, and my biggest problem is Largest Contentful Paint.
Most of the loading time takes the featured image. I don’t want to disable it completely but rather move below the visible fold.
I would like to set up single post pages such that image doesn’t load at all on rendering first screen and only lazy loads after user scrolls down on mobile.
Thank you very much for help in advance.
Looks like AMP is what is breaking menu on mobiles. When I switch amp off, menu works perfectly as it should. But whenever I switch AMP ON, it breaks menu.
Sorry, it’s actually still a problem. I accidentally clicked EXIT MOBILE VERSION where menu worked as it should. But when I switch back to mobile ?amp version then menu is not working properly again
Noticed that if menu is bigger/longer (let’s there are more than 10 menu links) than your mobile screen then you can’t access rest of menu, since you can’t scroll mobile menu.
Example: mkuubis.ee
Hi Bettina,
https://imgur.com/MZA60NC I have mobile view set to yes in the back office
https://imgur.com/fIlYiuR Selected mobile template
I have made changes to the mobile template version so the category page looks different on a mobile device but when I visit that page on mobile device I still see the global category template and not the mobile template I created.
I hope that helps to understand my problem.
Thanks
Ian
Hi,
Yes all categories are correct and set to latest. On mobile last post on grid and news is August 25th but on Desktop last post is August 19th.
Hi,
I have created a mobile view template by copying the original template via the copy tool in the back office. The mobile view template does not load on a mobile device and in the back office it is sett to yes. I have deleted the tag div mobile plug inn and I’m using only the Tag Div composer.
Many thanks
Ian
When I check your website on mobile and PC I see the opposite issue. On mobile latest post is August 23 but on PC it’s August 19
Check your filters on desktop and mobile versions. Do you have the proper category selected and latest?
Hello @icedogg420!
You can hide/show on every viewport: tablet viewport -> https://www.screencast.com/t/YUVUcyrgh and mobile viewport -> https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB
The easy way is to find it in the other viewports: https://www.screencast.com/t/fdFEC5yOodf
If you cannot find it, then check the other method already discussed here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cssdisplay-show-or-hidden/
Thank you!
Hello @raketenaffiliate!
It could be the problem from safari. Maybe the font you use is not compatible with the browser.
Go in Theme Panel -> Theme Colors -> Mobile menu/mobile search.
Thank you!
My latest posts are not being displayed on mobile. They are displaying correctly on desktop and if I log in to the WordPress admin on my phone. They are not displaying in any categories in the homepage on mobile device.

Hello @swaghermagazine!
Deactivate the Mobile Theme plugin and see the results.
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. Edit the page with TagDiv Composer. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB; there you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and design for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
You can choose to use whichever one is more affordable and useful for you.
Thank you!
Hello @nagarig!
Check in the TagDiv Composer. For example, H1 from logo(header, footer, mobile): https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/6-h1-tags-on-front-page-bing-have-deindexed-my-site/
Yes, with cloud templates you can import sections, various templates. You can assign different template for each page. Access the page and choose from the list : https://prnt.sc/aDWGj9oH3ZIO

I just found out if I have the editor open and I make my browser window smaller it generated the same mobile view and I was able to hide them using the css option and toggled to each different view in the css option. But if I ever want to make them visible again do I have to add it as an element?
Thank you for your quick reply.
First of all, I got it setup a bit cleaner now, thanks to your answer.
First, I uninstalled the mobile plugin and the omgf google fonts plugin, then I deactivated the “use google fonts” and “use default fonts” option in the theme panel.
Then I uploaded the fonts and added css to style.css from this link: https://google-webfonts-helper.herokuapp.com/fonts/comfortaa?subsets=latin
After then choosing the right fonts again in theme panel, everything seems to load properly, just SAFARI on my IPHONE shows times new roman, here’s a screenshot below. I tried google chrome mobile and it showed up just fine. Is there any Solution to this?

Also one more thing. How can I change the color gradient of the mobile theme menu to match my theme (no plugin, i use the mobile pages)?

Greetings,

I realized when we updated our theme that this page did not convert. I fixed it on the website for desktop viewing, but how do I make it visible for mobile viewing? Here is a screenshot but it’s the Visibility services page. https://snipboard.io/YXj5mG.jpg
Hello @mojopatrakar!
Please use a single cloud post template and not a standard one. We recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Documentation here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/
Make sure your header and footer template are set as Global in the Cloud Templates. In this way, they will appear on every page.
You have to create only a new page Home and set it like this: https://prnt.sc/b5bxSIJQum5V in the WordPress Settings.
We have cloud templates for articles, category, tag, etc. which you can assign directly to any page.

You can choose to use whichever one is more affordable and useful for you.
For the option 1 and 2, you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin.
You can easily edit the cloud header and footer by editing the homepage with the Tagdiv Composer(scroll down in the editor to see the footer section).
Thank you!

Hello @icedogg420!
Actually, that on/off toggle is not for hiding elements. If you hover over that toggle, you can see more info about it: https://prnt.sc/u9J5LU04xkXn
If you want to hide an element, then there is an option in the CSS tab : https://prnt.sc/a694nQat_PFR
Or, if you want to hide that element only in the mobile viewport, then let it “show” in the desktop viewport and hide it only in the mobile viewport: https://prnt.sc/J0iRM2ezOMQ7
Thank you!

For the option 1 and 2, you need to deactivate the Mobile Theme plugin.
If you use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there are some settings in order to customize it in the theme panel -> mobile theme. Note that you can not customize this plugin’s layout with the TagDiv Composer.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
