HI Anamaria, the Model popup is fixed as a H3 Tag. Is there a way to change it to a DIV? I have it as a menu at the top on mobile, and the document then starts with an H3, which is not good for SEO. Thanks
Hi,
This can be done using the theme panel settings from Newspaper > Theme Panel> background – Mobile menu/search background – https://i.imgur.com/P3tj9UO.png
Then the colors from Newspaper > Theme Panel> theme colors – https://i.imgur.com/XCxtNJb.png
Or you can use the popup element and create your own mobile menus using the pages
I hope this will help you!

Hi Team,
We’re facing an issue where Eurasian Times articles are not opening in the Google News app.
Steps to reproduce:
A. Open the Google News mobile app.
B. Search for Eurasian Times.
C. Tap on any of the articles.
Example URL of an article as seen in the Google News app:
When accessed directly in a browser, this URL works correctly. However, when opened via the Google News app (with the AMP prefix https://www-eurasiantimes-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/), the page loads as blank.
We also attempted to curl the above story URL. Please find the response attached.
Hello,
The first page should be from the mobile theme and the second one from the page content so that you can remove the title set in content, and the situation should be resolved.
Thank you!
I am using the mobile theme. When I add content to the editor for the mobile theme post edit page, all of my pages show the page title twice. How can I fix this?

Hi,
By default, the H1 tag is applied to the logo. If you’re using Cloud, you can use the tagDiv Composer to remove the H1 from the logo (you need to do this for both mobile and desktop views).
Here’s an example: https://i.imgur.com/0BjZdOj.png
When you open an article, the H1 will automatically be used for the article title.
For pages, if you want to remove the H1 from the logo, you have two options:
Use the PageBuilder template and enable the page title, this way, the H1 will be set on the page title: https://i.imgur.com/ElmwJQR.png or, keep the default page template and use tagDiv Composer to add the page title manually, then disable the H1 on the logo.
The H1 tag is important for SEO, so it should always be present on the page, just make sure it’s used in the right place.
Thank you!
Hi,
The orange color is a global color on the demo you are using, so what you can do is to use tagDiv Composer, edit a page, select the manager and in colors, change the color from orange to the new color you want https://imgur.com/lwb7sNv
The situation with the menu on mobile can be resolved by using tagDiv Composer, slect the mobile view port, then select the top row, the one holding the logo and check the css tab – https://i.imgur.com/DNsPpin.png that -10 margin should be remvoed and the problem will be resolved.
Hello TagDiv Support,
I’m experiencing a problem with the Newspaper theme and TagDiv Composer that affects my site’s layout and customization options.
1. Mobile Layout Issue
On the mobile version, the layout is broken and does not adapt properly to the screen. This makes the site look misaligned on mobile devices.
2. Device-Specific Customization Not Working
Previously, when editing with TagDiv Composer, I was able to customize layouts separately for desktop, tablet, and mobile. For example, I could adjust padding, margins, or hide/show elements per device.
Now, those device-specific settings no longer work. The desktop layout is being applied by default to all devices, and I cannot create different designs for tablet or mobile anymore.
3. Steps to Reproduce
Open the homepage or a post in TagDiv Composer.
Select any row/element.
The alternatives for device customization (desktop, tablet, mobile) appear.
Any changes made for tablet or mobile are overridden, and the desktop view is forced on all devices.
4. What I’ve Tried
Confirmed with WPMU DEV support (my hosting provider) that this is not related to optimization or caching.
Performed cache clearing and plugin conflict checks.
Verified no JS errors in the browser console.
Confirmed that the issue persists even without Hummingbird optimization enabled.
5. Current Status
My hosting support confirmed the issue seems to come from the TagDiv Composer/page builder itself.
I am currently using the latest version of the Newspaper theme and the problem started recently, without any theme update on my side.
Could you please help me investigate this and confirm if it’s a known bug in the latest version of TagDiv Composer?
Any guidance to restore proper mobile layout behavior and per-device customization would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your support,
Prensa Regional

Hi, I’m having a problem with TagDiv Composer on my website: https://www.conocerasturias.es
When I create a new page, it doesn’t load. It also doesn’t work with my existing pages, and the following text appears: ‘, footerTemplateId: ”, footerTemplateContent: ”, mobileMenuId: ’35’, tdbPInfiniteLoadStatus: ‘on’, tdbPInfiniteType: ”, tdbPInfiniteCount: ‘3’, isMobileTemplate: ‘0’, tdbTemplateSettings: [], }; // Set the local storage to show inline the iframe wrapper and the sidebar window.localStorage.setItem( ‘tdc_live_iframe_wrapper_inline’, 1 );
Here are some screenshots.

The headers also don’t work.
thank you
Hi,
Please provide a link to the website so I can investigate the element you are saying.
Normally, if the responsive version is used, what is displayed on a desktop should also be displayed on mobile. In case the tagDiv Mobile theme is used, the source and via should be displayed.
Thank you!
Hi,
This can be a cache situation, when a mobile page or the mobile theme plugin is used, you need to have a cache plugin that can create a mobile cache separate from the desktop version. Please try when you are connected and see if the problem persists.
Thank you!
I need to show the source in posts in the mobile theme. How do I add that? Thank you
Hello,
I am having problems with the town talk mobile theme. It keeps reverting back to the town talk header, and changes I make to the mobile theme in the layout also keep reverting back. How can I fix this? When I look at the mobile theme in the back end, all the changes i made are there, but when I look at the website on my phone, none of the changes are there. Thanks
Hi Calin,
we have the same problem, only for mobile. We use LightSpeedCache. How we can solve the problem?

Hi,
2. What you need to do is to change the mobile menu icon – https://i.imgur.com/SHimyDh.png https://i.imgur.com/yQtfClG.png
3. The live search on the element is a bit different; it can be used to display the results in a dropdown element – https://i.imgur.com/j8jVsGG.png or under the element input, to make it to have the element input and display results as you want, you ned to use this custom css:
.td-header-desktop-wrap .tdb_header_search {
top: -30px;
position: absolute;
z-index: 999;
}
Personally, I will recommend the option from the theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
Maybe the theme does not have all those features and some of the themes may be overwhelmed to have them, but in the meantime, I will let you know what the theme has.
We do not have a personal dark mode, but there are many plugins for dark mode that can be used -> https://www.wpexplorer.com/dark-mode-plugins/
The theme has the Table of Contents element, it can be added/removed/edited using tagDiv Composer on the single post template – https://i.imgur.com/nwqwWSg.png
“Another thing: I’d love to create styled content boxes (like quote blocks, info boxes, tips, etc.). There’s no easy way to do this in the Newspaper theme. If there’s a built-in way to create that inside Composer without extra CSS, I haven’t found it yet.”
It can be done using the tagDiv elements, for example, you can use the row or inner row to hold more elements and set inside it a column text, maybe an image, a button and adjust them according to your needs – https://i.imgur.com/aNpQ57W.png also, you can use the cloud to import a section or an existing block. When you have a block layout that you like you can save it in tagDiv Composer so you can reuse it on other pages or templates- https://i.imgur.com/hXsFCUX.png
Also, for the mobile version the theme provides the responsive version, the possibility to create a separate mobile page/template using tagDiv Composer and also the tagDiv Mobile theme light version (3 options for mobile).
Thank you!
Hello dear support team,
I’m once again struggling with tagDiv Composer and hope you can give me a tip.
I have images in different formats as featured images. Is there a way for tagDiv to scale these images automatically in the output? The column in which the image is displayed is always the determining factor. This only applies to the header area in the content block. No matter what I set for the image size, the output is always different. I’m giving two examples here. I have the same problem in the mobile view.
Example:
From my Homepage:
1. Picture in landscape-mode
This image would need to be displayed wider in proportion to avoid the image being cut off
2. Portrait-Modus
Here the image is also cut off, even though it is portrait mode
The header images on mobile are all cut off
I would be happy if you have a solution for my problem. Thank you very much.
Thanks for the reply. I’m actually already aware of those features you mentioned. What I was trying to get at is that I need help implementing them properly on my site. I had sent an email a while back asking for guidance and a quote for services, so I’ll follow up on that email.
That aside, I still feel like the theme is missing a few modern features or maybe I’m just not seeing them?
Dark mode is one. I noticed one of the other themes switches to dark mode automatically based on the visitor’s system settings (like on Mac), which is great. This would be a nice feature.
There’s also no Table of Contents block that I can find, which is kind of expected nowadays — especially for long-form content and SEO.
Another thing: I’d love to create styled content boxes (like quote blocks, info boxes, tips, etc.). There’s no easy way to do this in the Newspaper theme. If there’s a built-in way to create that inside Composer without extra CSS, I haven’t found it yet.
Other features I’ve seen in newer themes like JNews and Foxiz that seem missing:
Text-to-speech for articles
GIF thumbnails that actually animate
Smart sticky nav or TOC sidebar
Font size/accessibility toggles
Reusable block templates inside Composer
More lightweight mobile-first optimization
I still really like using Newspaper, but it’s starting to feel a bit behind compared to what other newer themes are doing. Would love to know if any of this is on the roadmap.
Thanks again!
Hello,
For the empty gap at the footer, I will need a link to your website where I can investigate the gap and determine its cause.
The shadow can be removed from Style tab, set Shadow 0 – https://i.imgur.com/wQkD3xM.png remove the border from the General tab – https://i.imgur.com/vIkk4Ey.png set border radius for input – https://i.imgur.com/Dk0sbA5.png and for the button – https://i.imgur.com/Rbfh7zA.png for button position use this custom css:
.tdb_header_search .tdb-head-search-form-btn {
position: absolute;
}
I see that icon is a standalone element, so you can drag and drop it in the left zone of the text.
The theme has a responsive version, just check the mobile viewport – https://i.imgur.com/GpDhAsx.png but if you want to have a separate conetnet for mobile or you want to edit some elements only for mobile you can create a mobile page/template https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ also is providing a dedicate plugin (tagDiv Mobile theme) but this is limted in options and edits making it very simple.
Thank you!
Hi Rase.Admin,
1. The tagDiv Mobile theme plugin is indeed providing better results for mobile users because it is a dedicated plugin for the mobile version, but this is keeping the website layout very basic, on the Newsmag theme, there will not be much difference between desktop and mobile version, but on the Newspaper theme will be like you are on a different webiste.
2. The recommendation is that if you are using the AMP plugin, also use the tagDiv Mobile theme to set the mobile theme layout for the AMP users. Now the thing is that many users have given up on amp and this year it is no longer a boost like it was in the past, and many developers have started to pass off amp as deprecated, it can still be used but is optional.
The messages you received are related to deprecated php code, usualy this happens when you changed from php 7.4 to v8 and there are parts of php code/there are functions that are no longer supported in version 8.
Thank you!
