But mobile navigation is not working.

Hi,
This “‘The tagDiv Mobile Theme now works best with the AMP plugin to provide a complete solution for your content on mobiles.’” is just a message, not an error, also is possible that using amp plugin to this to not work with the password box.
Also, if you want to use the amp, you can use the tagDiv mobile theme only for amp – https://i.imgur.com/eXaQ0Nq.png – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
Also can you please let m know the plugin you are using for Password protect?
Thank you!
Thank you very much for your reply and the clarification regarding the cache behavior of Flex Blocks.
We are already familiar with the method described in the link you provided, and we have used the theme panel’s cache clearing option under System Status. Unfortunately, this does not resolve the issue we are facing.
The main problem is that the Block Cache Expiration Time setting does not seem to work as intended, as also mentioned by other users in the support thread. As a result, the mobile version of our homepage does not update and continues to display outdated content — which makes it effectively non-functional.
At the moment, we have been forced to disable the mobile frontpage layout entirely, and mobile users are now served the desktop homepage as a fallback.
Please, we kindly ask for your urgent assistance in identifying a working solution. We are running a high-traffic news website and need the mobile homepage to function reliably with fresh content.
Hi,
Please make sure that all cache as been cleared, also if is possible please try with multiple mobile devices to see the problem is the same on all (if possible with both iOS and android).
Thank you!
I have the AMP Plugin activated because when I disabled it, I got this message:
‘The tagDiv Mobile Theme now works best with the AMP plugin to provide a complete solution for your content on mobiles.’
I thought I needed to run this as well. But I have disabled it and cleared my caches at our CDN, purged cache on the server, and on my browsers. But that did not fix the issue. The password protection works on POSTS but not on PAGES (on mobile). Would the AMP differ between the two types of content to allow it to work on POSTS and not PAGES?
Hidragbikecom,
It appear that you are using a plugin for mobile version, therefore please disable the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin and the problem should be resolved.
Thank you!
Hi,
“Unfortunately, the mobile hamburger menu does not include this option by default. While it is possible to implement it through theme code, this approach is not recommended unless you are a developer.
A better solution is to use a Cloud Template header and create a popup element with the tagDiv Composer. In this popup, you can link to a page that contains all the elements you’d like to display in your mobile menu.
Thank you!
Hi,
I checked your images and it looks that the buttons are simple text with a background images, so you can simply add as many buttons as you like and just adjust the color and width on each button.
Here is a quick one:
– add the button, then go to css tab and set the width, for 4 buttons inline you’ll need to set the width for 25% then set left and right padding (4px) after that just duplicate the element and set the text, links and color (from style tab), also you’ll need to adjust the buttons on mobile version – https://i.imgur.com/fbqp1lj.png – https://i.imgur.com/h7CZ8ja.png
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Can anyone else in this forum address the issue with VPN blocking our videos when it is enabled? Again, try this example from a Mobile Device, with your VPN enabled: https://www.besthomegear.com/video/ego-electric-riding-mower/
This or any other video on our site will not open for us. But if you disable VPN, they all open.
Since nearly 70% of all mobile users employ VPN as we do, this is a huge issue, so we appreciate any guidance using Tagdiv “mobile friendly” theme.
We are using the WP Super Cache plugin on our website, configured according to the official recommendations published by tagDiv.
Recently, due to serious high CPU utilization issues, we investigated our performance bottlenecks and identified that many of the slow queries were originating from the td-composer plugin. The queries were triggered by heavy use of flex blocks across our homepage and category pages. These blocks often regenerate content on each page load, causing significant strain on server resources during traffic spikes.
Following a suggestion by @Simion from tagDiv support, we enabled Block Caching for all Flex Blocks. This adjustment had a noticeable and immediate impact on performance. For a high-traffic news website like ours, this improvement was essential — and we now strongly recommend enabling Block Cache for similar heavy-use cases.

https://postimg.cc/rRyR0wNg
Encouraged by these results, we applied the exact same cache settings to our Mobile Page layout using the mobile theme configuration from Newspaper. However, while the Desktop version properly refreshes and reflects new content over time, the Mobile version remains stale, failing to show newly published articles.
To force the new content to appear on mobile, we are currently manually deleting the entire cache from the admin dashboard — something that is clearly not a sustainable or acceptable solution in production.
We would like to ask:
– Why is the mobile version not refreshing like the desktop version under the same block cache settings?
– Is there a way to independently invalidate or refresh mobile cache when new posts are published?
– Could this be a bug or a limitation in how the td-composer handles caching for mobile themes?
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated — especially from other high-traffic sites using similar setups.
Thank you in advance!
Hi,
So, I changed my favicon and the preview of my website in my mobile browser was exactly as it I expected, expect for the background color. I want the background color to be back but it’s reddish. I changed the theme color to black from the tagdiv theme panel but it is still the same.

@Anamaria – I am having this same issue. A password-protected page works on mobile as a Post. But if I put the same information in a Page and password protect it. The page loads blank.
You said for this to work ‘you need to set the content in mobile theme editor’ – I have a page cloud template set and a mobile version as well for the page templates.
Here are links to examples

Our site uses the hamburger icon for the mobile view and we would like to add a search field as an option once the menu is opened like in this image
I have not been able to find this in the documentation.
HI,
This is because you are using the tagDiv mobile theme plugin, this is an additional plugin, but for responsive version it is not need for it, so please go to plugins look for tagDiv mobile theme plugin and disable it, after that clear all cache and the problem will be resolved.
Thank you!
I’m experiencing a problem with the mobile version of my website using the Newspaper Theme. The issue is that the article pages appear significantly different on mobile devices compared to what I see in the TagDiv Composer editor.
For example, when viewing a specific article on my phone, certain design elements are missing or rearranged compared to the editor view. The structure, typography, and even the spacing between blocks do not match the layout I created in TagDiv Composer.
I’ve attached two screenshots for reference:
One from the TagDiv Composer editor (how the article is supposed to look),
One from a mobile device (how it actually displays live).
Could you please advise how to resolve this inconsistency? Is there a setting or mobile override I might be missing?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi,
If this situation is only for a few iPhones models, then it can be something related to the iOS. What I can recommend is to check if you try multiple times, the menu is not opening after the 2-4 try? without refreshing the page?
Now what I see is when you are using the mobile and try the mobile menu there is a time when the page is not full loaded, so is possible to be the problem for the menu that is not opening. There seems to be a footer image that has been deleted from media, but this is still apply on footer template – https://i.imgur.com/ewWSx5T.png please edit the homepage using tagDiv Composer – https://i.imgur.com/wCYDFr0.jpeg scroll down to footer zone and select the row then check the css tab – https://i.imgur.com/bZMp7Lj.png and click on remove image – https://i.imgur.com/yy9T4Jy.png this should help you to increase the website load with a second.
Another suggestion is to make sure that under the theme panel > header > mobile header the show mobile menu and search are enabled – https://i.imgur.com/V4D9gDG.png
Also, suggestion is to try when you are logged in and see if the problem is still persisting or not, if the problem is resolved when you are logged on the website, it can be related to the cache settings from the website.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you have the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin installed and activated, then this is the one that will apply, what you can do is to use it only for amp – https://i.imgur.com/41XWouL.png (in case you are using the amp plugin), disable it on pages -> https://i.imgur.com/bYhragp.png -> https://i.imgur.com/l3oVbsa.png if you do not want it on specific pages only or disable the plugin – https://i.imgur.com/itHrBpI.png in case that you do not want it on your website.
Thank you!
I figured out the mobile logo issue (I am NOT using the Mobile Theme Plugin).
I have created the mobile pages based on my desktop version, but when viewing in the mobile phone I see only the one set in Theme Panel.
How can I use the custom mobile theme instead of the one from Theme Panel?
Hello ! Well at the bottom of the tagdiv composer dashboard twhere the black bar is .. there is supposed to be these nav icons:
a back arrow, a circle, undo, redo, CSS, three vertical dashes
I not not have the undo and redo, not the 3 vert line (structured popup panel)
So that’s what I’m trying to achieve.
Also I cannot seem to replace the default Newspaper header logo on mobile. I have uploaded our own in both regular and retna. Cannot see mto locate any mobile logo in the Theme panel .
Thanks !
Hi,
The plugin responsible for the different layout is the mobile theme, please read carefully what the plugin does https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ The mobile theme does not display composer content or any content from the desktop pages. All pages will require content to be entered in the mobile editor. If no content is entered there, the pages will be empty on mobile.
Of course, if you want to use the responsive version and not have to use a mobile editor to add content to mobile pages, then you can deactivate the mobile theme. It is an optional plugin.
Thank you!
This evening I was tinkering with a plug-in for text-to-speech.
I have fiddled with the plugin in the past with no impact on my page format.
However, now, my Posts are all weird, both on desktop as well as mobile.
My home page is fine. https://regardless.sg/
However posts all appear to have lost their ability to adjust to the display? Here are some examples.
1. https://regardless.sg/the-dark-horse-of-ge2025-single-issue-voting/
2. https://regardless.sg/the-cultural-crisis-no-one-talks-about-this-ge/
3. https://regardless.sg/read-between-the-lines-part-3-the-architecture-of-control/
I would greatly appreciate assistance in restoring it back to normal
I don’t have WooCommerce installed, but I have the same issue. No matter whether I have AMP active and set up, or disabled, many of my pages are empty. When AMP is active, a “mobile content” box appears in the editing window for these pages, meaning that I’m supposed to manually add separate content for mobile and desktop. I don’t want that – I want my responsive site to be responsive no matter the device. How can I get page content visible on mobile?
The site is https://answersforelders.com. A good example of a page with missing content is https://answersforelders.com/chateau-retirement-communities, which loads perfectly well on desktop, but I only get the header and footer in mobile.
Hello Bettina,
Yes, I have built a mobile page etc. but the ad does not show there. That’s my problem. Do you know what can be wrong?
Just to recap:
1) The ad is set up in “custom ad 1” in format 320×320 with Google Ad Manager code.
2) If I set up the ad in an ad box on top of a page in desktop view, it works.
3) If I view a page with this ad box in mobile, I can see it provided I don’t have a mobile page associated with it.
–> the problem arises when the ad box is set up in a custom mobile page. The it doesn’t show.
You can see this when you go to nordsip.com on a mobile. The mobile homepagemobile should show a 320×320 ad but it doesn’t. I’ve also set up a test page here: https://nordsip.com/irri-survey-2019-the-nordic-cut/
There you can see that there is no mobile page but there you can see the ad in both desktop and mobile.
