Hello,
Our theme doesn’t use cookies to detect responsive version, mobile page or mobile plugin.
Our theme uses cookies to store certain data, such as youtube ids, social counter ids, Instagram, etc.
Thank you!
Hello!
1. Edit the homepage with TagDiv Composer, access Website Manager click on Header -> Mobile Menu(you should be able to see your mobile version in Composer now), click on the header row and change the background color from the CSS tab of the row’s settings: https://www.screencast.com/t/DsMHjybIwX
2.1 Background image : https://www.screencast.com/t/x3Xrln2b88x
2.2 Check this screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/1YmnrJ9PB3eO
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Greetings!
Hoping you can help me solve an error.
I’m building a site with Newspaper v10.4.
The suggested plugins are installed and active:
Composer
Cloud Library
Social Counter
Newsletter
Mobile Theme
Official AMP for WP
Standard Pack
and Revolution Slider.
When I’m signed in to my WP account, the site works and displays as expected.
But when you visit the site without being logged in, you get this error message:
Warning: require_once(/home/customer/www/mcweather.com/public_html/wp-content/Newspaper/tagdiv-deploy-mode.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/customer/www/mcweather.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/functions.php on line 11

What should I do to resolve the error?

Hello Sean!
One thing that you need to know before is that mobile pages which you use is not compatible with AMP at the moment. So, AMP is faster and works better only with Mobile Theme.
Please note that if you enable the Mobile Theme on a page which was created with TagDiv Composer will not display the design you built because the Mobile Theme has the own templates design.
For more information about Mobile Theme, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
In the end, you can choose which want it is more suitable for your needs. If you still want to choose the mobile pages and you will have the same problem, then please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin, so we can investigate more into this issue and find a best solution for you. Also paste a link to this topic so we can easily identify you.
Let us know and we will gladly assist you.
Thank you!
Hello, I am attaching you a registered mobile theme and without registering the user so that all users are not activated.
Hello, Well, as you can see, almost everything is from the newspaper theme, the sources are from the theme, I have not loaded any additional sources that do not include those of the theme.
As for the question of the mobile theme is that it only skips or activates registered users to unregistered users, the mobile theme is not activated. How can you change that and become active for everyone.
As for the question of the panel or block that shows the most read posts, I mean the topic itself or the desktop topic, there is no that option in the newspaper topic, it is an option that should come as it is a newspaper topic, not believe? Which or how is that block activated to be displayed or is it a widtges?
As I await your response I will experiment with transitioning to the mobile plugin. If it is faster and better with AMP then perhaps it’s a sign that I should do it.
That is correct I don’t have the mobile theme plug-in.
I use the mobile page version of my desktop.
The mobile page version has been customized with the mintyside theme.
But only the mobile responsive version of pulses pro desktop shows up.
Hello,
My last article is not showing on my blog when I look at it on mobile… https://www.byothe.fr/2021/04/swisstransfer-le-site-gratuit-de-transfert-de-fichiers-qui-va-vous-faire-oublier-wetransfer/
It works fine on desktop…
it was working well before…
Hello !
As you can see here the Page speed of your website is affected by this files: https://www.screencast.com/t/t1tjzAuRR Some of theme are theme related, some are heavy fonts, some images, Please send us a screenshot of your System Status Tab and make sure that all the requirements are met as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
For the Mobile Theme I’m not sure I understand what do you mean by registered users ?
Mobile Theme plugin is non editable using tagDiv Composer. Only the options from Theme panel.
Thank you !
Hello,
The page speed is not related only to the theme that you are using, this is affected by plugins/content/ads/ external resources, etc.
You can see on our demos what page loading speed score can a website loaded with content can have -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pro/ . However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view.
Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website.
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not, if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.
We have such a great result with this new update and with our new tool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnkVapqhIHc
Thank you!
Hello!
Sorry for the misunderstanding.
First code you don’t need to add somewhere because it is already implemented in our theme files.
The second one has a special place in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile Theme -> AMP ADS.
Thank you!
Hello!
Check the settings by accessing Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile Theme -> Mobile ads and delete the multiple ads from the fields.
If there are not multiple ads, then you need to check for a plugin conflict. Please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
We recommend using WP Super Cache plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Our team will take a look!
Thank you!
Hello Sean!
It seems you use a responsive version of your desktop and not the Mobile Theme plugin.
For this mobile version there is no cookies there.
A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, then you need to deactivate Mobile Theme plugin, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
Check and let me know if you have a mobile page assigned to your homepage. For more information about this mobile version please take a look in this article: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Thank you!
I really love the mintyside theme for mobile instead of the mobile plugin theme. Would it be possible to get the line of code for my webhost so that they can direct it to stop caching?
Hello, @slimster8,
If you want to use the cache plugin on the host, then I recommend you to use only the mobile responsive version, not the mobile theme or mobile page, then it should not be a problem.
In most cases, this problem occurs because the cache plugin used by the host does not recognize mobile theme or mobile page version.
Thank you!
Hello,
@MattiaVe for your error please make sure all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps and you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
@jesperj Please provide some screenshots with the problem, because otherwise, I have no way of knowing exactly what problem you have. Have you tried to do a test on a subdomain for iPad using only tagDiv plugins and see if it’s still a problem? maybe you have plugins that interfere with our theme and cause these problems.
@avtomir Please do a test on a subdomain and use only tagDiv plugins, and see if the ads from the sidebar are still on the top of the post. Also, please provide screenshots and a link to your website to investigate the problem.
@dnf67 as I said above, please do a test on a subdomain using only tagDiv Plugins, because the update can not change so radically the aspect of the website only if you have used extra plugins that are not tested with the theme and they interfere with her.
@Playground Lda. and @mathew I’m not sure I fully understand your issue, please provide more details (screenshots).
@slimster8 I think the problem can be from the plugin cache you use. Please try the WP Super Cache plugin https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ and see if the problem persists. Also, if your host uses cache then you should not use any cache plugin, and maybe, the cache plugin used by the host may not recognize if you use mobile page or mobile theme.
In the future, it will be recommended that each one of you create a separate topic so that we can answer to each one in part, this is because in this topic many of you have different problems.
Thank you for understanding!
Hello, @thelansingjournal,
I just checked the site and you have a dark logo on mobile, but it is not very visible because you also have a black background color => https://www.screencast.com/t/5uaIJErKe
You can change the color or the logo with tagDiv Composer, select the viewport on the phone, select the logo and you can change it => https://www.screencast.com/t/fYcN78R0bAU7
If this is not what you mean, please let me know!
Thank you!
There are two sets of code that needs to be placed. Where can I place the first set of code? I assume the second set of code will be placed in the theme panel > Mobile ads > amp ads. How about the first one? I’m having problems with my ads showing twice in all my posts pages. Appreciate you help. Thank you.
Hello!
Please check in Website Manager which template is assigned for your mobile version: https://www.screencast.com/t/CuLw1PERB
If you created a mobile page, then also you need to assign it. Please check our guide from here to understand how exactly you can assign a mobile page to your homepage:
https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Please try not to reply multiple times in the topic if possible, this will only delay our response. Replying multiple times will refresh the topic date and move it to the back of the line, we answer from oldest to newest.
Thank you!
Hi Bettina,
Yes. The only issue I’m having right now is that my ads in my AMP is showing twice in every post page I have as seen in the following examples –
https://insideios.com/how-to-automatically-switch-airpods-between-devices/?amp=1
https://insideios.com/how-to-sort-images-and-videos-in-apples-photos-app-in-ios-14/?amp
You’ll be able to see that there are quite a lot of duplicate ads. Ads showing below each other. It happens on all the posts in mobile AMP. Please help me sort it out. Appreciate the help if you can point me in the right direction.
Hello!
I checked your website page on mobile, but it is working fine on my side.
We tested with our theme the WP Super Cache and with the settings from our guide this is working correctly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello!
Please make sure you have NOT installed Mobile Theme plugin.
Let us know about your results!
Thank you!
Hello!
I am using the Mintyside mobile theme and the Pulses Pro desktop theme.
Here is a screenshot of the mobile version when it works properly. Good: https://paste.pics/C40J8
Here is a screenshot of the mobile version when it caches to the desktop theme. I think that’s the problem. Bad: https://paste.pics/C40JU
My webhost says they can solve this issue if you give them the cookie that can allow them to stop caching the mobile page.
This is what they said: “Since the theme is managing the mobile version of the site, ask if there is a cookie. You can give it to us and we can add an exclusion for it. Where it would be in the theme I am not sure, but the theme dev/support may have a better idea of any cookies that are set for just mobile that we could use to exclude the mobile version from caching.”
Thanks for in advance for your help,
Sean
