Good day
I have a problem. I activated the Newsmag theme. But my mobile the images on the home page are a bit blurred an out of focus.
How can I fix this?
Hey there,
Our menu does not show up on mobile or tablet devices.. When we check it on desktop and change resolution of the browser (Inspect mobile view), it shows up but not on actual mobile device..
https://blog.turkishairlines.com/
Can you please advice?
1. The CSS code I need is for subtitle (the brief description of a post) placeholder below the post title in mobile theme. The default font and size is okay, just want the grey to be a bit darker. You can please write the code and I can always change the font and colour part of it.
2. Is it possible to align image captions in centre of an image by default or maybe you can write a CSS code for it too please.
Thanks in advance
my site url is sabysworld.com
Hi,
I think that you are using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders or shortcodes ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme, also the mobile theme will not display any sidebar)
-> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png
Also you can show the responsive version on mobile theme (to get the same layout as on desktop on mobile) -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-get-mobile-ready-with-newsmag-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
These options are like this:
Mobile -> the mobile theme will apply only on mobile version.
Mobile + amp -> it will apply on both and it will have the same layout.
Amp -> the mobile theme plugin layout will be use only for amp version.
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
I also have this issue on my website https://victoriamarket.ca
why has this not been adjusted in the many updates? it’s very frustrating and looks horible.
I’m using image logo – it is unresponsive to parameters on tablet/ipad view in the TagDiv composer.

Oooh well now I understand I was checking from same wifi after login so I was looking at this option (same ip address was fetching) but when i check with mobile data it is no longer visible.
My one page is hidden on mobile but not on the phone? HOw do I access this?
Hello!
Usually this situation appear when you are using the mobile theme plugin and you have set an offset for the latest articles: https://i.imgur.com/vABNCKl.png
Please check this, also try to delete your cache(also from your browser) and let me know about your results.
Thank you!
As I wrote in the case of the mobile theme module on woocommerce, it does not peak CSS styles. Even overriding them in a child-theme doesn’t work.
The creators of the template did not check and prepare a mobile theme for woocomerce and Child Theme.
Additionally, I have applied my own functions and hooks in function.php in the child theme, and it also doesn’t work with the mobile theme.
The mobile theme in the settings has the option of using your own css code, which would allow you to copy the styles (but this is not a solution), the styles added in the child theme should work.
The mobile theme settings lack the ability to add your own functions the same as css. It would always allow you to copy functions from the child theme (also not ideal because it should be based on the child-theme from the function.php file).
It is strange that such a popular template has so many shortcomings and incompatibility with its own modules.
Hello!
If you use also child theme, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results. Without Mobile Theme plugin, Woocomerce should work well.
Thank you for your understanding!
an easier way to do this is to simply hide them via css. Just add the following into your Live CSS
#wp-admin-bar-tdc_edit,
#wp-admin-bar-our_support_item,
#wp-admin-bar-tdc_page_mobile_template,
#wp-admin-bar-tdc_create_mobile_page,
#wp-admin-bar-tdb_template_load {
display:none!important;
}
Hello!
Unfortunately, there is no way to achieve what you need with this element on both versions: mobile and desktop.
But, if you really want to change the structure of the element, then this will require custom work. For customization and other services you can contact our custom work team here: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/
Thank you for your patience!
Hello !
It looks like your website is running Mobile theme at the moment.
If you don’t have content on your page you need to create the page using the mobile editor as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you !
Hello,
I saw for the mobile you use the mobile theme plugin, and you need to enable the thumbs from Theme Panel -> Block Settings -> Thumbs on modules/blocks => https://www.screencast.com/t/0kxFnONl9eyZ

Thank you!

So second page dont show the correct… When ofset used…
Can you pls check… 20 Latest articles and check the last 5 of them and go to second page you will see 1st page articles in second page too 5 of them…
I understand this
If you are using mobile theme plugin you will need to recreate your pages in the mobile editor in order for them to be shown. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
I have turned off the mobile theme and amp. So at least visitors can read the content. Pages were created with the supplied theme’s tag div composer. Why is it that the home page displayed perfectly with mobile theme and amp and it is a page created with tag div and yet any other page would not display? Speed/poor performance is an issue with this theme (documented elsewhere)and even while employing the recommended wp-cache and settings, and other tweaks page load issues can be attributed to the coding of this theme. Server is a newer VPS running php 7.4 and redis and yet page loads are horrendously slow on desktop (and now mobile).
Hi there,
Below you’ll see how author avatars display at the end of posts using Gravatar, and the WP User Avatar plugin. Gravatar appears to be responsive wherever it’s used in the theme. WP User Avatar does not resize in the toolbar or anywhere else for that matter. This display issue is especially problematic in mobile view as seen below, where both images are uploaded at the same size.
Gravatar: https://ibb.co/mbxLz1N
WP User Avatar: https://ibb.co/fQmtBpP
Can you suggest any fix to make WP User Avatar display in a fixed size like with Gravatar? If I could get all our authors signed up with Gravatar, I would. It’s responsive and displays at appropriate sizes, whether in the forum or anywhere else in the theme. I hope I’ve made myself clear. Can you help?
Hello,
I have noticed an incompatibility on the Mobile Theme which is related to Woocommerce. All styles and settings with child-theme do not work. Loads other colors and looks.
Please let me know if Woocomerce has been tested with a mobile theme and does it require a separate child-theme file for the mobile theme?
Hello,
Please verify if you set the mobile page for mobile page what you created like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/olI1bW8Cg92
Also, make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hello,
I answered you on this topic-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-menu-social-icons-url-not-working/#post-387464 Please check the answer and let’s continue the discussion there.
Thank you!
Hello,
I just checked your website and the social icons work fine.
Did you manage to solve the issue?
For changing the background color, you need to go in Theme Panel -> Theme Colors -> Mobile menu/ mobile search => https://www.screencast.com/t/TpD5KBnulWe
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hello !
On AMP / Mobile template this option is not possible in Newspaper Theme.
Thank you !
