Not a single post’s featured image is showing up on the thumbnail on the home page of our website https://smartgadgetworld.com/. Issue is persistent only when site is being loaded on mobile devices. Please help us correct the issue.

Hello !

If you are using mobile theme plugin you will need to recreate your pages in the mobile editor in order for them to be shown. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !

Each page has this option here: https://www.screencast.com/t/k4O7y7nhmPh

Thank you !

I seem to be facing 3 problems with newspaper theme.
1. The sidebar doesn’t appear on implementation of single post cloud library templates despite it being there in the template itself.
2. The LCP in speed test for mobile site is above 3 despite image compression and google will sooner or later have an issue with it.
3. Third is a request for a custom code to darken the subtitle text on mobile theme. I see an option to increase its weight in desktop version settings but not in mobile theme. So will appreciate a css code for that.

In order to make the site faster, I was trying to shift my post template to a cloud one so i could disable the standard pack as advised by tagdiv documentation but unfortunately i can’t seem to find a way to reduce the post from full width to one with a sidebar. For e.g. the default pro post for default newspaper theme has most popular posts on the sidebar with an ad box above. But when I implement it as a default post it goes full width minus the sidebar and i end up seeing the side bar content on top of my post while scrolling up and down on an article

Hi, I just switched up my theme to a different Newspaper theme/design than I had before, and now the featured images for my mobile theme aren’t loading. I used the Regenerate Thumbnails plug-in but still no dice. https://eveningsends.com

Any ideas about what to try next?

Hi,
I created a mobile page for my homepage, using the new feature. I do not have the Mobile theme plugin installed, because I wanted to create custom pages for better mobile experiences. But after I created the page and saved it, it still does not show the mobile page. In stead I still see the responsive mobile site created from the desktop version.

What can I do?

At current settings when you click the burger menu the menu slides from left to right. Is there a way to make it slide from top to bottom?

Hello,
I added the following tag to FOOTER AD in Mobile ADS:

<amp-sticky-ad layout="nodisplay"><amp-ad width="320" height="50" type="doubleclick" data-slot="/XXXX/XXXX/XXXX"></amp-ad></amp-sticky-ad>

Sticky Ad is only displayed in AMP on the Desktop, not on mobile.

I’m using TagDiv Mobile , AMP Plugin, configured for only AMP and transitional mode.

Someone went through the same problem, can you help me.

Thanks

Using the Newspaper  theme, I have dialed in the styles and while the desktop view is fine, on mobile view many pages that display fine on desktop are missing the text content entirely on mobile view (see attached screenshots) . All settings in theme, mobile theme and amp seem correct. Please take a look and let me know how to fix the missing content (text of the pages missing in mobile view). Site: https://itgnext.com/ (example of page with desktop content (text) displaying fine on desktop but missing entirely on mobile view) https://itgnext.com/about-us/

Also can not find where to fix/remove this About Us Link in mobile footer? (see attached image as well).
I will also email access credentials to contact@tagdiv.com and reference this thread. attached images: https://imgur.com/a/PzRZu2F

Hello @Umut!

You need to install Mobile theme plugin if you want to have those settings in theme panel.

Thank you!

Hello!

The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results if you need your mobile layout to display the same version like in desktop.

Thank you!

For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you still need mobile theme design, please make sure that you have activated the proper thumbs for the mobile theme. The mobile theme requires the “265×198” and the “741×486” thumbnail sizes in order to show the featured images properly.

This can be found in here: https://www.screencast.com/t/N18dR3qZrh

After activating the thumbnail sizes you need to regenerate your thumbnails using a plugin. Check this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-the-theme-with-existing-content/

Thank you !

Good morning again, the mobile version is not displayed correctly, it does not show the news blocks as it should, on the home page, for example, the main block shows it badly on mobile.

What solution do you give me?

Hi. The screenshot is attached.
I installed the amp, but its mobile design is very amateur simple. What can we do for both amp and beautiful mobile design?

Hey Bettina,

thats what I did. Looking into source code of the page shows four different instances of svgs right now:

1. svg id=”header”
2. svg id=”header-sticky”
3. svg id=”header-mobile
4. svg id=”header-mobile-sticky”

So, all IDs are unique. But problem still persists.
