Hi,
The notice was added by us so you know you need the mobile theme plugin as well to go along with the amp plugin.
Thank you!
Hello,
The official implementation for amp required by our theme is this one:
https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Please read this guide to learn about the mobile theme changes:
https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
We have not tested tha amp carousel though so there are no settings in this regard If you want to implement it manually, please read this guide:
https://ampbyexample.com/components/amp-carousel/
Thank you!
Hello,
It is a mobile only network. Please test on a mobile device and the icons will be there.
Thank you!
Hi @espedfk2,
Mobile theme is an editor not a builder like tagDiv Composer or WPBackery ( on those two builder is not good to use on the same time ).
@scott.dutton
Note that if you do not like to use the mobile theme plugin do not use it ( this is your choose ), our theme is responsive and will keep the content and layout that you made with tagDiv Composer you can do the same with the AMP plugin.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
The setting affects both desktop and mobile devices. You probably see the ones on posts, not the ones on the mobile theme modules. The method shown above is to remove the comment count for blocks and modules. For post, please remove it from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/oPOa4JbtDEKP
Thank you!
Did you see the screenshots I sent? Mobile + Amp is enabled.
The mobile theme plugin and AMP plugin provided by Tagdiv have been installed and activated this whole time.
My observation is that on occasion, the site will display the mobile theme and another occasion the responsive version. I really don’t know what to say here.
Responsive theme = all good except no pages are AMP
Mobile theme = Blog page works but all custom pages (about, contact, etc.) are grey.
I understand from the last link you sent that the mobile theme custom pages need to be built from scratch, since they allow for 2 different looks, one desktop and one mobile.
Maybe this is the problem here? Although I’m still not sure why the display hops from responsive theme to mobile theme if I have had the mobile theme active this whole time.
I have created the homepage and when I enter from the mobile the design does not appear, only the code appears tagdiv and I can not see the design
Hello Catalin,
I have the last version of everything…
I had to switch to a fonctionning AMP pluggin this WE to make it work…
I will not use your mobile theme until it’s deeply improved…
The analytics code is ok
Im telling you that since last update, mobile theme not load amp. It loads classic html
And when loading amp manually with ?amp, all links in that page sends you to non amp pages
Hi Catalin,
but why your example (https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_local_news/td-post-the-hottest-wearable-tech-and-smart-gadgets-of-2016)
does not pass https://validator.ampproject.org/ test?
Any of my pages could not pass this test also regardless which option is active: Mobile, Mobile+AMP or AMP.
Please, comment.
_Update_:
Now I found out that it was again “?amp” for AMP links? Which is not so before theme update when the url was the same for AMP and not AMP pages? Is it right and why so?

Hi,
I have checked again your website and it seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/XTzMnLI1z You desktop layout it seems to be displayed on the mobile mode, in the responsive mode what is right. If you will install the mobile theme, the layout will be changed to another layout for mobile. Check the Mobile Theme documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hi byothe,
First of all, ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme NP 9.6.1. Here, it was made some improvements on AMP. That new update allows you to use the AMP with or without the Mobile theme. If you will use the AMP+Mobile Theme, the layout will look like this -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_local_news/td-post-the-hottest-wearable-tech-and-smart-gadgets-of-2016/ Also, you have access to the Comments section. Regarding customization, notice that the Mobile Theme has a default layout and do not have any such an option that allows you to make some changes from the Theme panel, sorry! For more information about Mobile Theme layout and functionality, please check the following documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hi,
I have checked your website, the AMP seems to works as expected but on mobile, on your homepage, you get that white space because you do not have set up any Featured posts, sorry! Using the mobile theme, you need to add some posts inside the Featured Category, because this is the mobile theme default functionality. Also, check your AMP ads configuration because it seems that are not correctly displayed at your website.
Thank you!
Hi,
I checked your website and now you are using the responsive version of theme, not then mobile theme plugin.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme/tested plugins, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.
This is our list with tested plugins with our theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/cmPkh9jba4sZ
Also now in Newspaper c9.6.1 you have 3 options, one for only mobile, one for mobile and AMP( this option is working only with the AMP that we provide ), and AMP ( this option allow you on which page/post to make AMP, also this option is available only with provided AMP plugin ); if you choose to use others amp plugins -> https://www.screencast.com/t/klPekGTzwi0F -> https://www.screencast.com/t/EjRDB03fp
How to Make an AMP Ready Website with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
You can deactivate the AMP on those pages/post were you get the google errors.
Thank you!
Guys! You’ve made a preety mess with the AMP. I wrote it in few topics. It took as a few days to understood, that now ist 3 headers; one for desktop, one for “Mobile + AMP” and one responsive. In our opinion third choice pure “AMP” doesn’t work at all. Our site now is set on “AMP + mobile” We had a lot of trouble with google analytics. Generally 9.6.1 is the worst update since I’ve remember.
Hi,
Yes those are usually the icons for social media, arrows, stars, user … a part of theme can be found in wp-content/themes/Newspaper/mobile/includes/less_files/font-icons.less also you can find those in wp-content/themes/Newspaper/font-newspaper.css
You can also check How to add an icon in menu -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-add-icons-in-menu/
Or if you want to set with tagDiv Composer some icons in a page -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6ZKtcsVkzhlf
Thank you!

Hi,
Please make sure that you have set the code for AMP Analytics in Newspaper>theme panel>mobile them> amp analytics -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Also please check this similar topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/is-my-amp-analytics-code-implemented-correctly/

Dear Team,
We have been using your Theme for a period of time. Thanks for your great work.
However, there is an issue. When we deactivate the Mobile Theme and we visit our website, the Adsense ads are not centered. Some ads are aligned to the left. You may have a look on our website and you will understand what we are talking about. In Theme settings, all ads are set to “auto size”. Also, Auto Ads for Adsense is turned on too.

Please kindly assist. Thank you very much.

Francis
Hi,
I think that you are referring to this notice ; this notice apper eaven if you edit/update the page from backed, but this is just a notice, is not an error; you can edit the page/template, you do not need to create a new one.
Unfortunately for mobile theme in order to get a good speed you can not use the builders, only the classic editor from mobile editor -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
You can set 3 blocks, for those you’ll need to have set seam feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4
The settings from theme panel are general settings, are applying for almost all elements ( but not for those from tagDiv Cloud Library ), also with tagDiv Composer you can set individual settings fro each element from your page/template ( those will override the settings from theme panel for those elements on which are apply ).
If you are using a header from tagDiv Cloud Library and you want to change the sticky type -> https://www.screencast.com/t/dDpQyrh36
If you are not using a header from Cloud please check those options -> https://www.screencast.com/t/7FwjpUHrdw
If you are using the mobile theme the menu will be sticky.
Also you can choose to use the responsive mobile version of theme, this will have a low speed but will have the desktop layout.
Thank you!
Hello,
I have a problem when I’m logged in and see the website it’s ok (showing the desktop version on the desktop), but when I open the page when I’m not logged in to WordPress the site showing as the mobile view. Why could such thing happened?
plus the menu has stopped working for mobile site.
Hello, how are you?
Why sometimes, my site appears on the computer with the mobile layout? Does it happen to you sometimes? Who can help me? My site http://www.portalpadom.com.br
See the attached print:

There should be an easier way of removing footer logo in mobile theme. Right now if you remove logo from footer section of the theme panel, it will just display the main logo, or alt text. Right now just comment out this whole blob in mobile/footer[-amp].php
//$td_footer_logo = td_util::get_option('tds_footer_logo_upload');
//$td_footer_retina_logo = td_util::get_option('tds_footer_retina_logo_upload');
//$td_top_logo = td_util::get_option('tds_logo_upload');
//$td_top_retina_logo = td_util::get_option('tds_logo_upload_r');
//$td_footer_text = td_util::parse_footer_texts(td_util::get_option('tds_footer_text'));
//$td_footer_email = td_util::get_option('tds_footer_email');
// read alt and title for the logo
//$td_logo_alt = td_util::get_option('tds_logo_alt');
//$td_footer_logo_alt = td_util::get_option('tds_footer_logo_alt');
//$td_logo_title = td_util::get_option('tds_logo_title');
//$td_footer_logo_title = td_util::get_option('tds_footer_logo_title');
// if there's no footer logo alt set use the alt from the header logo
//if (empty($td_footer_logo_alt)) {
// $td_footer_logo_alt = $td_logo_alt;
//}
// if there's no footer logo title set use the title from the header logo
//if (empty($td_footer_logo_title)) {
// $td_footer_logo_title = $td_logo_title;
//}
This is not very pretty: in ./Newspaper/mobile/footer.php this line:
$buffy .= '<div class="block-title"><span>' . __td('ABOUT US', TD_THEME_NAME) . '</span></div>';
Get rid of it.
