e) consider adding explicit paths to website in wp-config.php while also increasing default RAM from 40MB to 64MB
f) make sure you clear caching in Chrome if hadn’t been done when switching themes and such with your website
g) disable plugins not included with theme if still having problems
h) TIP: ‘create’ your blank page FIRST, then open it with TD Composer to edit; that’s what I do — can help mitigate php transients and timeouts, where the ‘session’ dies before you actually finish editing and thus page never actually made, so nothing actually happens. Happened to me on one site with php 5.4, but 5.6 totally fixed that nonsense. If you’re still using php prior to 5.6 you’re likely DOOMED! 😉

Theme would only have those pages there if
a) you’ve imported demo page content
b) you’re using translation plugin to build alternate page versions

Ideally clear all caching, remove all demo content, resave permalinks, clear all transients with wp-optimize; check you htaccess for old redirects — in case you have old redirects going someplace for stuff not actually there.

Force resave your sitemap; resubmit to Google etc.

Pages removed will stop getting pinged eventually. Hurts nothing to get some 404s for temporary pages. Nobody on the web should be linking to temp pages so zero issues for site other than getting temp errors like that.

Not sure that helps – but common issue when you have temp pages, then delete, then have redirects created for non existant pages to near matches; esp if the auto-redirect plugin links to pages you then delete also. Get a bad redirect ‘chain’ going there.

Food for thought.

Theme cannot change site randomly, so something, like a plugin or whatever got updated on your site. Suggest checking error logs, try clearing cache, try clearing transients with wp-optimize, try resaving permalinks.

Then try disabling plugins to see if something you updated broke something else.

Theme cannot “suddenly” break for no reason. This is why disabling ‘auto updates’ is wise, and then keeping eye on when updates come up to ensure you stay secure; trade off on ease of use vs stuff breaking from being auto-updated.

Check all your plugins to see if activated properly, or anything disabled due to broken update, etc.

Theme has nothing to do with how you optimize your server/hosting; so good to review tutorials online for how to optimize WP sites in general, while learning to use and optimize WP.

You might need to hire a developer to sort out the reasons why your site is no longer connecting to dbase — did you change settings in your wp-config.php file ? Did you get hacked ? Did you web host move servers, or replace RAID drive, or other system error? Did they upgrade PHP version? Did you try disabling *all* plugins except those included with theme, and then clear transients with WP-Optimize plugin, and resave permalinks?

Obviously theme doesn’t control WordPress actually connecting to your dbase — which is normally via the setting in your wp-config.php file, giving WordPress core ability to read/write to your dbase. However, not sure who you were able to add new stories this month, but then not be able to access them.

You had a ton of web server errors, so it might be worth doing a CLEAN install of WordPress, theme, plugins, and double check your wp-config.php file, check you don’t have some weird permissions set via htaccess from old caching plugin, etc.

Likely need to hire somebody to help if none of that makes sense.

Maybe you have an SEO optimizer like Yoast? Check to see if the title there says ‘Blog’..

What *I* do for our sites
a) clear transients with WP-Optimize plugin
b) resave permalinks

then it works. Same with changing RSS feeds, etc. all sorts of transients seem to get stuck with WP, regardless of theme or browser.

People don’t want to add tons of plugins since it slow down the site.
People chose the theme because it was optimized and have a ajax login form.
People did test the theme and bought it because of great support at beginning and promises to add features to the to-do-list .
People are asking for help or recommendation are clients and clients are the core of each company.
People don’t ask for any thing for free , so they are offering to pay for any customization (or your 500$ coding as you putted it).
Don’t rush rush ,hold your horses. tagdiv company grew from the 50$ your underestimating. 50 and 50 and 50 makes a ton. its not like only one person is asking for this features. There are many clients here that asked the same questions and got the same answer. saying there is a way to address issues other than using a template answer.
i just want to know if you are from tagdiv offical support team.

a) check your system status
b) you can’t edit a page built with ‘VC’ with ‘TDcomposer’ – you need to make new one
c) clear all caching
d) check for problems with plugins, like Yoast SEO has had bugs — two updates this month(!); try disabling plugins to see which might be causing issue
e) WordPress security update this week; always good to clear transients with WP-Optimize after update AND resave permalinks to clear all micro-caching
f) is using any ‘auto optimization’ plugins, these can break things — disable, or selectively disable minification options

Also note if something “suddenly stops working” it’s because “something” changed on your website. You need to stay on top of what you’re doing — e.g., if you have auto-updates for WP turned on, what got updated? Why? What changed? Did you keep copies of earlier version to roll back if plugin update actually has bug in it trying to fix prior bugs? (ahem, Yoast!).

That’s why i do the wp-optimize thing and resave permalinks to clear all the ‘micro caching’ — seriously, it helps!

Auto update generally not great idea; but did you try since you should be doing a site backup PRIOR to any WP update (just as it says in the WP admin panel) — but try:
a) clear transients with wp-optimize
b) clear all caching
c) resave permalinks ?

Yes it doesn’t have anything to do with autooptimize. The erros are still there when disabling the plugin, but instead referring to a tagdiv file.

Thank you so much, I’ll start to test these ideas and one more thing…

In addition, I´d like to change the link underline style/color and hover color, so it would be a site wide option for my content, whenever I add a link into a text. Solutions I have found in the internet, they are a side wide option. Every headline and topic and so on, has the same style, but I want to have only post hyperlinks customized, with custom thickness underline, with a custom color and leave the text black, while on hover it turns into a brand color. And in order to optimize the user experience I’d like these links to open in a new tab while the focus stays at my content.
