Just want to share.
I now know the culprit or the source of the missing Images sizes which is the EWWW Image Optimizer Plug-in. I hope both ends could be fixed on the next updates.

Hello szedmaktom,
Please notice that in our theme is optimized only the logo for Retina Display and not the thumbnail images. Also, this effect appears only in mobile mode for module 17. As you can see, the image was cropped to the 696*385 px (as original size) and then, for mobile version this image will be increased with a bit of CSS code, like so -> http://screencast.com/t/1AqsvEEOIMJi and this will lose a bit of quality. So, this is the normal theme behaviour in this case and this was a developer decision to do that. If you do not like this, you will have to change the block/the module. The theme does not have images optimize for Retina logo because in this case it should load 2 different images (one for desktop mode and another one for Retina logo) and this would affect server memory.
Thaks for your understanding!
Hi Support,
please check this url: http://vira.hu/
Thumbnail images are in good quality and sharp on mobile phones like Galaxy S4.
On this url however: http://vira.hu/uj-cimoldal/
Thumbnail images (especially smaller thumbnails) are not sharp, so it is clear that it is not optimized for Retina displays.
Is it possible to solve this issue somehow?
The new mobile theme is not an option, I would like to customize the page better.
Thanks & Regards,
szedmaktom
Hi,
I can see in pagespeed of Google, a score not optimal (of my web). I found this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ for do a optimal optimization, but I cant found this plugin ¿?¿?
Is there any other newspaper theme tutorial to optimize?
Thank you
Hello,
As far as we are aware of, this issue is not created by our theme as it was tested properly and no extra CPU load was present. I will however add this to our testing list and pass this information on to our development team for further testing so we can make sure the issue is not caused by our theme. Please allow us a bit of time to do so. Until such time, please optimize your own wordpress install by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Please consider using a cache plugin. We recommend wp super cache.
Thank you!
Hi.
I’ve installed Regenerate Thumbnails, I’ve pressed the “Regenerate All Thumbnails” button, but I don’t see in the page the correct sizes.
The web is https://www.butarque.es
I don’t have installed any optimizer images plugin.
What else can I do?
Thank you.
Hi,
We tested our theme and we do not seem to have this issue on our side. The theme is optimized for best performances so please try this without any plugins. Disable all of them except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Also make sure you increase the system status parameters like this guide suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ and make sure you meet the requirements for newspaper: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If you still have issues with this, try to create a sub-domain and make a fresh install of wp and the theme for testing purposes.
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately we know about the firefox browser issue and if you test our demo in it: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ you will see similar results (our demo is a bit better optimized but the effect is still present)
There is little we can do about it as it;s a browser issue. The browser has flaws on every type of animation.
Sorry for the inconvenience but mozilla need to step-up their game.
As for the mobile included browsers, if mozilla has such issues then not much can be expected of these browsers as well.
Sorry for the inconvenience but we cannot fix browser issues. A browser renders elements the best it can. Some browser’s best is not enough I’m afraid.
Thank you!
Hi.
Google recommend me to delete jquery.js file https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=myformat.club&tab=mobile to make website loading faster on mobile?
What I need to do to optimize?
I think I may have figured it out on my own by using WP Optimize. See my new scores below – and that was with adsense on.
Problem is my site feels like it’s taking longer to load then before; and deffinately longer than whats being consistently reported by the speed test?
Any thoughs?

I’m currently using:
Cloudflare
Yoast
Smush Pro
WP Super Cache
and a few more
Thank you,
Zane
Hi
Lucin replied you via mail regarding the issue with facebook.
2. I’ve noticed that you have the mobile theme active so you have to place the ad code in mobile ad-spots in order to be displayed on mobile devices.
3 I’ve checked your site with google page-speed toll and noticed that you have some render-blocking resources which can be moved in footer by using Speed Booster plugin. Also you can optimize the images using gzip compression as it’ indicated in our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
4. Please make sure that you’re using last plugin’s version included in theme’s path, V 4.0 clear the cache memory then test again. We will also update the plugin on our demo in shortest time.
Wp Super cache it’s tested and works fine with the theme following the configuration indicated in our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thanks!
Hey everyone!!
Got problems of PageSpeed with my site: http://ayudaenibiza.com/ and decided to fix it.
If you scann it you will see the problems i´m having.
First thing i did it´s read your tutorial about how to speed it up ( https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ ), then start working on it, some of steps worked… others… not at all:
*In the step of installing TagDiv Speed Booster i get next problem:
Speed Booster v4.4 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: akismet/akismet.php
So… Definetly Akismet it´s a needed pluging… any ideas?
*Following i´m still having problems with my images… (i´ve optimized them with RIOT and also with WP Smush it pluging) But still having the same issue.
OK Guys I just solved the problem. It was the “Autoptimize” Plug-In. Just did some Trial and Error and deactivated the plug in. Site worked perfectly afterwards. I think it is something with the JS settings within the plug in. Gonna do some checks and will post an update here.
Regards
Hello blue,
I have checked your website and I did not saw where is 0div.com when the side is in the loading process. Please provide a screenshot with the exact place where this information could be seen and also, please please tell me in which case it appears.
Please notice that if you want to optimize your page speed, you will have to spend a bit of time to do it yourself because it is not a simple task and depends on a lot of factors. So, you can consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ because there you will see the important steps which you need to follow in order to achieve best results in speed optimization. Also, if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because this type of customizations are not covered by our support and involves custom work.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi Catalin,
The Speed Booster was the problem, once disabled, everything works correctly.

It’s solved now.
I’m found the source of problem.

Hello radiodelta,
Please notice that the speed of the loading page depends on each user and how is optimized. Please notice that this is not theme related and if you want to make your website faster, you will have to follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ Also, please notice that this is not a simple task and this customization addresses only for ADVANCED USERS. If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello MM-Berlin,
Indeed, this is a mini-bug in our theme when you are using the Google Chrome for your iPhone. We will deeper investigate it and we will consider fixing it in the next future update. Also, as a mention, please notice that the Google Chrome is not optimized for IOS and because of this might appear these issues. We recommend using always the SAFARI browser if you have apple devices.
Thank you for your understanding!
Solved the problem after speaking with my hosting support. Filed for GoDaddy shared hosting, varies depending on which one you have.
And the second issue, related to another plugin, that compressed JS and CSS, and broke those sorting and load more buttons. If you use Autoptimize Plugin it does not work with those two features. Not sure why, but just a heads up to anyone else.
You can also test your page at GTMetrix.com – test a post, not home page. This will provide more help on how to optimize your site if new to WP.
Also, see my tutorial in the help > DIY > best of forums, for extended optimization for things like time to live, gzip/deflate — these alone are good for 20 points for pagespeed insights.
It’s a process to optimize your site if you choose to use complex “magazine” style theme. It’s very simple with non complex textual site/blog layouts.
So, expect to spend some time – there is no “one click” solution.
Hi,
Our theme is a bit “heavier” as there are lots of options available and the site needs to be optimized.
Please follow this topic to improve general page speed: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
And a note on the speedbooster plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tinymce-advanced-and-other-various-disabling-speed-boster/
Hope this helps.
Thank you!
Sorry, but I think it is too large. ¿ÜÛ size causes excessive delay in page load?
I usually use optimized images 400px wide, but that is not enough for the cover photo, I see.
Thank you
Hi,
mobile theme does not optimize images. Google page-speed insights reports that all images are not optimized,
http://prntscr.com/b3vefn
The score impact comes directly from images, otherwise works great.
Any suggestions?
Also, it would be great if somehow we would be able to inspect and check this mobile theme directly in desktop browser. (I use firebug)
That way we would be able to test and do some css changes to ‘custom css’ which is included in mobile theme options.
Any suggestions?
Also the logo is going over (under) mobile menu tab, and search icon.
Mobile menu background has a delay.
Thank you
Hello,
You will need to optimize your install a bit. First by following these guides:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
And for the page speed: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
A note on the speedbooster plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tinymce-advanced-and-other-various-disabling-speed-boster/
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
