Hello Betty!

You can only modify the footer with TagDiv Composer if you go to a page where it is assigned and edit that page with TagDiv Composer, and then you will have access to the footer also. For example, edit your homepage with TagDiv Composer, scroll till footer, click on footer zone and you can edit it.
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.

Thank you!

Hello! I have installed WP Rocket on my website to optimize it and make it load faster, but now when you enter, all the images appear blank and take a long time to load. What can I do to fix this? Thank you very much!

Just figured it out!

For anyone else having this problem it’s probably a plugin issue. For me it was siteground security and speed optimizer but I’m guessing other plugins could cause a similar issue so I’d recommend disabling all of your plugins (outside of the tagdiv ones obviously) and activating them one by one while loading the WP editor until you figure out which one is the culprit. And once you’re done using the editor you can re-activate the problematic plugin until you need to use the editor again.

Hope this helps!

Hello,
You ask me to continue the conversation by email and then you do not respond and give no help regarding the apostrophe problem and I would even say the language problem, because no .po or .mo file for languages with the newspaper theme, not normal , must script without this correction is far from being optimized for SEO, what’s the point of making a beautiful template if no one can see it?

Hello @rockerosnet!

If you use a cloud template that can be modified with the TagDiv Composer, then you can hide the widget sidebar element on the mobile viewport: https://app.screencast.com/J1WHpnwEiWXe8 -> https://app.screencast.com/l7gEvJiOFpYWz

Thank you for the information. In our case, we are a news portal in Brazil – in light of this, we are studying how to further optimize images with publications in WEBP. We cannot do this relationship manually as we publish various content daily, however, I need to study a plugin or means compatible with the theme to support this conversion when uploading the images.

The option to get this arranged is in Adsense itself and is called ‘Let Google optimize the size of your mobile ads’. If you turn this off, you will simply get the formats you specified in Theme panel.

The option can be found in Adsense under Ads > General settings

From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP. Unfortunately, AMP is not working with the cloud templates because the AMP’s layout is not fully customized.
The AMP version works best with default templates and not cloud templates. That’s why we integrated it with the Mobile theme plugin.
The feedback from our clients about AMP was negative and it is not used anymore, that’s why we didn’t add more customization options.

Thank you for understanding!

Hello,

I’m getting this message on all pages of my website when I try to use tagDiv composer to edit my website.

Errors at elements: 2(models) : 3(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)

It worked perfectly until today. There was no new plugin added or updates today.

aside from the plugins that go with the theme, I added YOAST, W3TOTAL CACHE, HIDE MY WP GHOST, and AUTOPTIMIZE.

What could be the problem?

Hello,

I checked the canonical tag with a few testers and this is passing all of them – https://www.seoptimer.com/canonical-checker/www.justonefortheroad.com

The problem related to the mobile header is happening on the desktop also. Usually, it is related to a cache or optimized plugin. What I can recommend is to to a test without those plugins and see if the problem persists. Also, if the theme analyzer is used, please remove the generated css – https://i.imgur.com/mTO9dkQ.png
This problem can be also related to this parameter – https://i.imgur.com/5GtGtcU.png

Thank you!

Hi,

Please provide the link to your website.
Also, please do a test using only tagdiv plugin, without cache autoptimize plugins.

Thank you!

Can U delete these two entries from my database? My wp_postmeta table has grown to more than 1Gb with these two entries. I have about 10,000 posts and Im not sure if I can delete these to optimize my database table.

Hi,

Please check this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/autoptimize-install-configuration/ to configure it to work with the theme.

Hi! Yes it works, thank you!!!!

So i guess autoptimize isn’t a good plugin together with the Newspaper theme? Would you recommend a similar plugin that is more compatible?

Hello blarrow,
This is a WordPress situation, if you try with a default theme from the WordPress the results will be the same. Also, it is not need to add in url “/?m=ajax” it’s enough “/?m=” and you’ll be redirected to the website blog page. What can be done in this situation is to set in robots.txt file a disallow access to that link. -> https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-optimize-your-wordpress-robots-txt-for-seo/
Thank you!
