Hello @myshanai!

Yes, you’re right, it’s different. The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
If you use Mobile theme plugin, then you can not edit the pages with TagDiv Composer.
You have only some settings for this layout, which you can find in Theme panel -> Mobile Theme.
If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.

We recommend you to use Yoast SEO plugin because is a tested plugin with our theme.

For more information about mobile pages, please check this article: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/

You can use which one is suitable for your needs and improve SEO.

Thank you!

Hello @sunil5823!

I can see an error from WP_Optimize and I recommend you to uninstall it. When I open your website and try to use the menu, then an ad is appearing, after closing that ad, then the header menu is working great. I can see that your mobile menu is working great also and you use the Mobile Theme plugin.
So, if you want to use other mobile version layout, then you should uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin.

Thank you!

Hello @sunil5823!

I’m sorry, but I can not understand what you are looking for, but we have 3 options of mobile versions:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices.

If you do not need Mobile Theme plugin layout, then please uninstall it from Newspaper -> Plugins. If you need mobile pages(2), then please make sure you’ve assigned the mobile page to the desktop one.

Hi Mark Gilbert, I just checked your website and I see that the AdSense code need a long time to load, over 1s -> https://i.imgur.com/1sYVgxN.png
The pagespeed depends on a lot of elements, like page elements, external resources…
As I see on your website, there are no theme problems, but maybe you can optimize better the pagespeed for your website:

https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

I hope this will help you!

Hi johnsnow,
Another thing that you can do is to remove the plugins that you are not using, in this can please make a test, disable the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin, I checked your website and I do not see to use it somewhere on your website (check your website and in case that you see shortcodes then it is used and you can enable the plugin, but if everything is fine, then will only consume resources), after that clear all cache and check again the css size should be more optimize.
Thank you!

Also another checkers told my that I have issue with Time to First Byte (TTFB)
Connect: 0.473057 TTFB: 1.152830 Total time: 1.153019

I asked my hosting support, they told me the problem is with wordpress template.
Are you sure your template is well optimized?

6000 lines in code. 1mb CSS style file, not optimized for google. Buggy

Hi,
Thank you for contacting us!
The problem seems to be related to some resources that can not be loaded, so, this seems to be from a plugin, cache, optimize plugin, please make a test clear all cache and try again using only the tagDiv plugins.
Let me know the results!

Hello Pawan!

The settings from Theme panel are useful for the default templates. If you have the latest update of the theme and your settings from the theme panel are missing and you use default templates, then please make sure you have Standard pack plugin installed and active (Newspaper -> Plugins).
However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view. Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website.
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not, if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.
For the page speed, I can recommend you some solutions in order to increase the score.
Our developers are working a lot to improve the page speed in every update.
Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:

Unfortunately, in our theme we do not have dark mode and light mode. Only dark demos which you can find in the Newspaper -> Prebuilt Websites.

Please try not to reply multiple times in the topic if possible, this will only delay our response. Replying multiple times will refresh the topic date and move it to the back of the line, we answer from oldest to newest.

Thank you for understanding!

Hi Gundud,
On our demos we used more steps, but, all of them are in our guides:
For example we do not use external resources.
Use a cache plugin -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Optimize the website: this can be done using an extra plugin https://forum.tagdiv.com/autoptimize-install-configuration/ or using our guide with CSS Analyzer -> https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-the-newspaper-theme-10-4-update/
Use a Cloudflare (CDN) ->https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
I hope this will help you!

Hi!

So I noticed that these two demo have totally different score:
1. https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pro/ ( 92 Mobile, 99 Desktop )
2. https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_black_pro/ ( 55 Mobile, 96 Desktop)

I’m planning to use the black pro one, what do you do to the newaspaper_pro? So I can apply to the black pro and get 90ish for both mobile and desktop.

Thanks!

Hello Giri!

If you use Mobile theme plugin, then you can not edit the pages with TagDiv Composer.
You have only some settings for this layout, which you can find in Theme panel -> Mobile Theme. Please note that if a page is made by Composer, than the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version. You should create the content with the Mobile Editor.
So, you should add the content in the Mobile Editor, a special field only for the Mobile Theme plugin as in this screenshot per documentation: https://www.screencast.com/t/PqBz1IrupWxM

Let me explain you which options of mobile versions are:

Hi,
all testing resources show that my website with your template has issues with loading speed based on the weight of CSS in first. For example only one of .css files weight about 750KB.. bet here is planty of others.
null
The structure itself of the page has more than 6000 lines, where most of them is css files and other template things.
Is your template optimized for search engines? Or how to do it?
There is also a lot of unused CSS which is loading together with website:
https://googlechrome.github.io/lighthouse/treemap/?gzip=1#H4sIAAAAAAAAE61W24obORD9FdN

Do you have like a specialist, who can make a sweet from a raw template with tons of unnecessary css files and low-quality optimized mobile version of the website? at least for some price
