It is how I can copy the specific elements. I managed to do it, thanks.
But is it possible to cope the entire cloud template, so that the template of the home page can be used in the category page? I find it difficult to copy element by element, It would be more simple just to save the template and load it from here: https://prnt.sc/B8Zgj5y9WYs1

Hi,

If you edit the pages or template, you can use the revision option -> https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/complete-guide-to-wordpress-post-revisions/

Thank you!

Hello @rickyrt !

You can change the colors of the websites and customize them as you like. Also, you shouldn’t install only one demo. You can mix the templates, sections between them. For example: install the homepage from a demo, a single template from another demo, and sections from different demos with the help of the Cloud Library.
All the cloud templates can be found in Dashboard -> Cloud Templates.
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/
I can suggest some examples of similar designs:
-> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_insightai_pro/
-> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_world_matters_pro/
-> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_music_life_pro/
-> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_aramis_pro/
-> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_zodiac_pro/

Hello @nagi!

All these changes can be made very easily in the TagDiv Composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/

You can assign/duplicate multiple templates. See https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/different-logo-in-categorypage/ for more information.

You can add any element to the sidebar in the TagDiv Composer. If you add it to a template and make it global, then it will appear on every page that has been assigned that template. You can build a sidebar with the TagDiv Composer. Steps:
1. Insert one new row (or delete an existing one).
2. Divide into two columns (2/3 + 1/3).
3. You can add whatever element you want to the second column and consider it a sidebar.

Access Newspaper -> Prebuilt Websites, select “All” -> https://prnt.sc/Vga5V7yzrAkJ and you can find the demo and press install.

Some styles can be added with CSS code: https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector

You can use a flex block for the post’s list:https://forum.tagdiv.com/big-grid-flex-settings/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/ limit it at 10, and you can create another block, set another limit, and have an offset of 10: https://forum.tagdiv.com/offset-feature/ and the list will continue posting post after post without displaying the same post. For the desktop view, we have another feature that won’t let this happen: https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/
Also, we have a new block that you can use and customize more: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-builder-flex-loop-builder/

I hope that helps you!

Thank you!

Can you clarify how can I copy the entire blog from Homepage to another template, like Tags or Categories?
Here what I see in the interface is this: https://prnt.sc/irBGMhCdZ-54
There is an option to duplicate the template, but I can’t see the option to copy it and later paste to the Category section – https://prnt.sc/FFy2gZQduv4n
Please assist with it, showing the necessary steps.

Thanks.

Hi,

You can copy-paste the block from the homepage to other templates.

Hello!
We’ve created a design for the homepage and posts page of the blog. However, the Category and Tag page doesn’t have any template uploaded by default and is empty. Is there a quick way to replicate the sidebar of the main page to the other pages in order not to create it from scratch? The sidebar is properly designed only on the hamepage and contains the necessary blocks and elements.

I am using Polylang to create multiple versions of my website, but when I create multiple header/footer templates and homepage templates to set up for each language, it has some issues and does not display correctly.

Could there be a plugin conflict here? My domain: https://influence-news.com/

It seems like you are experiencing an issue with the Cloud templates in Polylang. When you click on the “View Cloud Template,” it doesn’t show up.

but when you switch to another tab, such as “Trash,” and then go back to the “General” tab, it appears again.

Hi,

You can edit the template with tagdiv Composer, select the block, and right-click you can delete it -> https://tagdiv.com/right-click-menu-tagdiv-composer/
Also, you can use our element for a table of content, called Single Post table of content, or if you want to use a plugin, please check if the plugin has a shortcode and use to add it to the template. A shortcode can be inserted using the element “Column text” or “Text with title”.
“Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open, and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.

Thank you!

Hello @willysawa !

Edit the page with the TagDiv Composer, click on the row, and delete it from here: https://prnt.sc/RM0BKeWELyPl, or change it because you won’t be able to see the text because it has a white color.
If you mean the logo, then you can delete or hide the text: https://prnt.sc/lab7psoo89oc
The color can be found in the Style tab: https://prnt.sc/v8fzHQtntXFT
Every page is fully editable with the TagDiv Composer: https://prnt.sc/auUzjEzB_X3Z
If you set this color for your article title and the template is global, then all your articles will have the same color for their titles. You can have different color titles if you duplicate the template, give it another name, and assign it to the special article.

Hello @fryant !

You can create and customize multiple header templates. One could be global, and one could be manually assigned to the page you need. You can change every setting in the elements we have already in the tagdiv Composer. Also, you can duplicate a template to have the same style but different settings for the elements in that template. See https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/different-logo-in-categorypage/ for more information.

Unfortunately, you cannot have two search templates and put them into some links. It won’t work.
I’m not sure why you need this, but we have an exception for the CPTs. A CPT can have its own search template, which will show the results only from that CPT’s information.

Thank you!

Hello Bettina,

This is not implemented yet in my website, so I cannot show you. It’s something I would like to implement.

But this is what I have now (working as expected):

Search Box in Main Header – Press Enter – Show Search Results Page with Search Template (example)

What I want to do is to create a second header that will be used in another section on the website, in place of the main header. And, in that second header, there will be a different search box. And I would like for the results page from that second search box (not the live results, the actual page when you press enter or the “See all results” link) to have its own custom Search Template.

Would it be possible to have that custom Search Template?

Hope I made it a bit clearer. Thank you!

Hi,

Usually, this happens with cache plugins. If the cache plugin does not have mobile support then the mobile theme version can be delivered instead.
The solution would be to use the recommended WP Super Cache plugin instead and activate these settings (especially the mobile device support): https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edited with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

Thank you!

Hello,

I created a new field in AFC that works on the editing page.

I created a new module (Cloud templates -> Modules)

I chose the “Custom Field” item and wanted to assign a field from AFC. However, this field is not displayed in the list. I understand that TD Composer does not support it because other fields work. How can I solve this problem. This is necessary for our project.

Hello!

The page with the sample post title is the template link. Please check the link in your browser. They are dummy data. If the variables find the data, then it will display it; otherwise, no.

Hello Lucia !

1. If you use a single cloud template, then you can edit it with the TagDiv Composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/ and delete the element. The views can be seen in Dashboard -> Posts.

2.-3. The Single Post Author element displays the author of the post. Make sure you have only one author assigned to your post while editing with Gutenberg.

The credentials I suggest you to send only via email.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you

Thank you!

Hello! I’m having some trouble with the sticky mobile header. I edit this from cloud templates > home page template > mobile template > edit with TD composer. When the header is set to “top,” it does not appear in portrait view. When it is set to “bottom,” it appears at the top in portrait view, and the bottom in landscape view. Any assistance is much appreciated.

The goal is to have the sticky header appear at the top in both orientations. Thank you!

Mobile portrait view (sticky header disappears)

Mobile landscape view (sticky header shows at top)

    Header sticky position “bottom”

We are on the latest version of the Newspaper theme. I cannot edit with TD composer. When I press the edit with TD Composer button, the editor shows up briefly and this url shows while loading:

https://www.domain.com/wp-admin/post.php?post_id=155549&td_action=tdc&tdbTemplateType=page&prev_url=%2F%2Fwww.domain.com%2F

Then the page redirects to the following URL and the editor is gone:

https://www.domain.com/?td_action=tdc_edit&post_id=155549&tdbTemplateType=page

(actual domain name hidden for privacy)

We have an urgent situation at the moment on our site:

https://tinyurl.com/tagdiv-error

On all the site pages it looks like this:

The TD Composer Post Loop component works here

but on a woocommerce page it looks like this:

tagdiv td composer woocommerce footer does not work

on a category page it looks like this:

The td composer composer footer looks like this on a category page

and on a single post page it looks like this:

The td composer componet post loop on a single post page

What the hell is going on here? This is not working!

Hi guys, in this video, I am running into a problem I encountered while trying to import templates from the Cloud Library in the Tag Div Composer.

Specifically, when selecting a pre-designed template within the Newspaper theme and attempting to import a section, the confirmation to import is hidden, making it impossible to proceed.

This issue prevents me from importing sections and pages.

See video overview: https://www.loom.com/share/201855e1b3544a92a6d7f348fa516470?sid=de5593bd-6ee4-43cc-8ea4-e5e8b8e154ca
