Good morning

Since the last update of the Newspaper template version 12.3.1, I notice a banner that appears everywhere in the backoffice of my WordPress site.

Apart from the fact that I find it intrusive to impose a banner on us that it is impossible to hide, it is mainly the cause of problems with a plugin on my site: MailPoet
Indeed, this banner tries to be displayed in the MailPoet part of the backoffice and therefore creates a display problem with MailPoet.
Please tell me how to remove this banner.

After investigation with the teams of the MailPoet plugin, they confirm to me that it is this banner that is the problem. Here is their message:

This is the same notice that it’s trying to display on the MailPoet plugin page but it’s unable to render correctly as it’s using a syntax that we do not support. I’m afraid there isn’t much we can do about this. Kindly please reach out to the author of that theme and let them know about the conflict.

I have created a shortcoded block that I want to insert into posts in various places. The shortcode is referring to a flex block with related article(s). And I want the flex block to show image on desktop and tablets only. But I want the image to be hidden on mobile.

When I edit a page, I can do it by duplicating blocks and adjusting their visibility on mobile/desktop so that one row/element is only shown on mobile, while the other row/element is only shown on desktop.

However, in case of a shortcode inserted in a post, it does not work because both elements are shown (both original for desktop and duplicate for mobile). It looks like the display show/hide information is encoded into the row rather than into the flex block element.

So, my question is how can I create different elements for desktop/mobile inside the post?
Is there any slug I can add to the shortcoded string to show/hide it on desktop/mobile?
Is there any way I can hide/show image for desktop/mobile within one block (without block duplication)?

Hello, Tagdiv support.

We have changed our faster server with more stability. We have noticed that one of the speed issues is with the CSS and template icons on both servers.

We have WPRocket Pro and have already minified the CSS and Javascript. We only have the Tagdiv Mobile plugin activated because together with the AMP plugin the web is much slower. We don’t have icons anywhere on our website.

I have tried with an empty template (blank) and the speed does not change. The charging time is similar with our design (down 6 points)

How can we make our mobile version go faster? or how can we minimize that css and icons?

Why are we having issues with this cloud template menu?
When first loading the page the alignment is correct but after refreshing the page the alignment is off and there’s a huge whitespace

This is working fine but when taking the “https://coineditio1stg.wpengine.com/author/” page it redirects to “https://coineditio1stg.wpengine.com/tdb_templates/author-template-pulses-pro/“. How can we stop this and show the list of authors when taking the URL “https://coineditio1stg.wpengine.com/author/“? Is there any template for the same in your theme?

I want to add and edit pages only in the standard “worspress” editor, without using tagdiv-composer. It is more convenient and easier for me.

Question: How can I use the “post” template settings in the “page” template?

Let me explain: I want to add “social networks”, “comments”, “about the author” blocks in the “page” pages.
The same way as it is implemented in the “post” settings. And do it in the standard editor “worspress”.

I created a page and used a list element from the composer to create a list of ahref links. There is a row with 4 columns of different links.

The problem is that in the source code of this template, I can see the same ahref link x3? And there is only one link visible at the front end. It seems like for every link I put in the list the theme generated it x3. Is there a solution for this as this is causing a problem from an SEO perspective?

We are using Newspaper theme on our website, with LSCache WordPress plugin active. We are running a Core Web Vitals audit and the LiteSpeed team is tuning the plugin in order to achive the best results on CWV.

During the tuning, we found out that Google bot is not seeing the updated version of the category pages, on which we are using a TagDiv cloud template.

I am pasting below the answer and asking you to help us with this.

The LSCache team told us that the template we are using to generate the category view is not recognized as official Category view/pages, so they can’t be purged automatically, once a new article is added on the category.

Thank you for those details, I also got the logs and indeed these templates are not recognized as official Category pages, which is why they are not purged.

However, in order to do this, the only way is to contact the plugin owner and ask them to integrate with LSCWP API, so that they can trigger a purge on their URL’s when an update is done.

I need to use a specific cloud template header and footer only in some parts of the website, when the phrase “/en/” (english site) is in the URL of the site like mysite.com/en/about (yes), mysite.com/chi-siamo (no), without setting it manually. This thing waiting to switch to WPML plugin.

Can you suggest me a code snippet to put in the functions.php file?

I just want to see if I have this correct…If I want to have to information that is changeable on my posts then in the template the selections I need to choose are only from the single post shortcodes?

Here is what I am trying to do –
I want to have posts for different book authors we will be highlighting. Some of the elements in the template would be great to have, like the text with image. But in order to change it I need to have a template for every single author is what is happening on my site. I can’t just change the image and text for one single page.

Do I have this correct?
