Hi,
I’m unable to open any of my templates! I just edited and saved one of my templates and noticed some of my pages are now down (https://www.placeswithoutdoors.com/bestemmingen/peru/wat-te-doen-in-paracas/). I tried opening another unrelated template, but the TD Composer now gives me the same error for all.
I tried restoring an older revision of the template I just edited, but it didn’t change anything. It doesn’t seem template related.
How can I fix this ASAP?

Hello @bdsangbad!
Please note that you need to use cloud templates, in order to edit them with the TagDiv Composer. We recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Documentation here:

Thank you!
Hello @obit8!
You don’t need an extra plugin if you use cloud templates. Every element from the tagdiv Composer has a setting to hide it and delete it. This setting can be seen in the CSS tab of every element: [Display: HIDDEN]. We recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

So when we go for the template edit section, There are template boxes for pages, authors, etc but No template box for the Archive page. Like u showed here: https://prnt.sc/YRe8ztZUhDAw

Hi,
I’m using the breadcrumbs component on a single page (blogpost) template. I have a category structure with 3 levels (pe Destinations > South-America > Peru) but for some reason only the top 2 of the 3 categories show up. Is there a limit to the number of child categories that the breadcrumbs component can display?
My settings: https://imgur.com/a/jj1E3KR

Hello Khalid!
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. Edit the page with TagDiv Composer. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB; there you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and design for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
You can choose to use whichever one is more affordable and useful for you.
So, if the page is made with the TagDiv Composer, then you can not have the Mobile Theme layout.
For the option 1 and 2, you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin.
The AMP works better only with the Mobile Theme plugin. From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP.
Thank you!
Hello,
I am using cloud templates (Crypto Gaming PRO) for my website, category pages are not showing the latest posts. Can you check?
Hello @universul!
You can achieve this with the TagDiv Composer by using a cloud homepage template. Import it to your website from here: https://prnt.sc/CtfqISTUQdxw. Also, you can build it from scratch by importing a blank template.
Thank you!
Hello Mauri!
This page uses a standard or default template which can’t be edited with the TagDiv Composer. Only if you assign a cloud template, which you will import from the Cloud Templates library.
Thank you!
Hello, thank you for your reply.
I am using the Newspaper theme with the default header template that came with the theme, I am not using and of the Cloud Templates so I need to duplicate the existing header template to achieve what I need.
How do I copy the existing header template to then allow me to change the header on the posts and pages?
Thank you. I did eventually manage to edit it but I used the backslash — when you hover over the header date, it tells you what to do to remove an element, like the day. YES!
I will study the mobile page situation a bit more. I did create a mobile page but unfortunately, I was not able to edit it. The message said that I had to use the Cloud header template. That’s confusing, because none of them look like the Amsonia sub-theme. How should I proceed to edit the mobile header in the Cloud?
As it is a Cloud Template Page, this is what we see (no Layout):
Hello,
I modified my Header with TagDiv Composer.
The Header appears well on the Homepage, but it does not appear on the other pages of the site (I still see the old Header).
I use “Business – Header Template”, and my Header is set on “Global”.
Thanks
Hello Mauri!
I think it is a misunderstanding. If you do not have a category page/template, then everywhere you add the posts loop element, it won’t show you the posts from the current category.
Thank you!
Hello @christopherkevil8838!
You need to drag and drop the element onto your page and not just click on it.
You can adjust the logo differently in the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB, so then it will fit there.

Hello @rjsurjo!
Unfortunately, there are no settings to customize that.
When you enable the mobile theme plugin with AMP, then it will overwrite the templates with their layout. This layout has some settings only in order to customize the design. These settings can be found in the Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile theme. More information can be found at https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/. Please read all about AMP here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/

Hi Bettina,
Thanks.
This is exactly what I am doing. But the content that is coming in the block is latest articles despite applying the filter.
I understand the cloud template will show the dummy content. But the actual pages (after applying template to global) is also showing “latest articles” on all templates.
Here are 2 example URLs of 2 different custom taxonomies ::
https://www.thip.media/health/diabetes/
https://www.thip.media/health/polycystic-ovary-syndrome-pcos/
You will note that they are showing the same set of articles.
[Fact Check and Questions are categories]
Can’t figure out what I am doing wrong.
Hi there,
I am looking to build a custom layout for this custom post type archive page: https://staging-qxmagazine.kinsta.cloud/listing/. I selected a cloud layout under Newspaper > Theme Panel > Template Settings > Archive Template, but the layout of /listing didn’t change.
Please could you advise how I apply a cloud layout for a custom post type archive?
Thanks very much.

HI Bettina,
Thanks for the information.
I created the mobile page from the back office via the plus icon that appears when hovering over mobile template, I selected the copy option.
When I edit the mobile template it is not empty and looks like the main template that i copied from.
The mobile template I have set for the home page works as expected but it is the mobile template for the category posts which doesn’t display.
Regards
Ian
Hello @cashflow270!
Here you can remove/set a picture for mobile menu background: https://www.screencast.com/t/x3Xrln2b88x
And the background color here: https://www.screencast.com/t/PbU3hQpDqHh
If you use the mobile theme plugin, then check the settings in the theme panel -> mobile theme -> mobile menu/search background and theme panel -> mobile theme -> theme colors -> mobile menu.

Hello @adfrogs !
We’ve created different demos which you can use without building the whole design for templates. The ads in the cloud templates are added manually to the templates. You can use other templates from any demo you like. Import and assign sections, pages, templates, headers, and footers.
Unfortunately, there is not a global setting for the ads, sorry.
Thank you for understanding!
Hello @sudipto!
1. Yes, you should build the template as you like, depending on your cpt. Because the CPTs feature in the cloud templates is new, there are no pre-made templates yet. We will add in the next update.
2. You should apply this filter: https://prnt.sc/7NSKG4S-uIFU
Please note that in the TagDiv Composer it will show only dummy data, so please save the blank template and make it global. Make sure your CPT has a category and see the results when you view your CPT page.
Thank you!
Hello @Edragon!
In order to disable this option “Exit mobile version”, you need to disable this setting: https://i.imgur.com/LxpDtB2.png
