In tdc_history, all actions performed using tagDiv Composer are stored for every page and cloud template where you’ve used the Composer (https://i.imgur.com/0NbEObD.png). This allows you to use the Undo and Redo options → https://i.imgur.com/p9074lE.jpg, and also restore backups directly from the panel → https://i.imgur.com/QqX33GE.png. What you can do is to disable the Undo and Redo option – https://i.imgur.com/DPwPQHe.png and delete and reduce the number of backups in the theme panel https://i.imgur.com/JZnZpiN.png (the theme panel backups when it is disabled offers the option to delete all backups, after that can be enabled back to have a theme panel backup).

on my Newspaper template I am trying to import in a Page the “Service page Construction – by Tag Div”.
At first, it is imported – then I customized all the section, saved, but every time I exit the page it is empty!

Hi,
You can use the Flex Block and customize it to fit your layout. Alternatively, you can use the Module Builder to create your own module, or simply import a block you like from the Cloud Library and add it to your sidebar.
Regarding filters:
If the block is placed on a category page and you want to display posts from that category, use the special filters (https://i.imgur.com/YsQSGx4.png).
If it’s on a single post template, make sure to use the single post special filter.
If you’d like to show posts from a specific category across all templates, just select that category from the dropdown menu.

The best recommendation will be to use the ACF plugin so you can create exactly the CPT you need, including taxonomies and custom fields. Those from our demos can be used as guides on how to set up the files, taxonomies, templates, etc. But for a big website, it will be recommended to be clean and to the point.
The theme will work with 100k, you just need to have enough resources for your website and use some cache for the database and users.
Unfortunately, the theme does not have an option for data import in that kind of page, but I think it can be used an extra plugin for importing data.

We would like to ask about directory/listing template capacity, if we plan about 100 k. companies all together in few years. Each company will have just a little text “about company”, requisites and 1 – 3 optimised pictures. Will this template https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_cali_sight_pro/ and tagDiv system be capable for 100 k entries.
Do you have some csv proforma for data import in that kind of page?

I’m using the latest version of the Newspaper theme (v12) along with the TagDiv Composer plugin. I’m currently encountering a critical issue: whenever I try to edit any page using TagDiv Composer, I get a 404 error.
Here’s what I’ve done so far to troubleshoot:
Updated WordPress, the Newspaper theme, and all plugins to the latest versions
Resaved permalink settings
Cleared all cache (browser, site, CDN)
Deactivated all other plugins to check for conflicts
Verified that the pages exist and are using the correct templates
I also enabled debugging and noticed this warning in the logs:
Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the “td-cloud-library” domain was triggered too early.
(From: /wp-includes/functions.php on line 6121)
This may point to an issue with how the theme or plugin handles translation loading, possibly affecting the TagDiv Composer’s ability to load edit URLs correctly.
Can you please advise:
Is this a known issue in the current version?
Is there a patch or update available to resolve this?
Are there any specific server settings or requirements (e.g., rewrite rules, PHP version) that I should verify?
Looking forward to your help as this is preventing us from editing content on the site.

That is an extra class and you can set the CSS for that class in theme panel > custom code> custom CSS, or in live CSS or directly in page or cloud template in a raw CSS element.

From what I can see in the source code of the page is something related to the way that the element for the featured image has been set. Cna you please add a new element for the featured image and set it just below the title element. You can try with both featured image elements from the single post template.

Hi, I’ve got a featured article/post on my home page, with the article image and the title overlayed on it. It also has a sub-title above it which says ‘Featured’ (in the nomad template it says ‘places’). I’d like to change this to ‘Watch now’, how do I so? Thanks

It seems I was able to find the problem. The pages and posts have used the ‘Default Sidebar’, which seems to be broken. The page loads correctly after changing the sidebar in the Newspaper -> Theme Panel -> Template Settings
However, everytime I try to open the WordPress Widget admin area, I get an error message telling me to contact the wordpress support. It seems something is broken or not compatible here anymore.

Unfortunately there is no convertor tool, but what can be done is to import from the cloud templates a page, section and templates that are similar with the old one you have (if you want the same layout), those can be edited on frontend using tgDiv Composer.

I’m experiencing an issue when trying to modify an article template that’s in the cloud library. Every time I attempt to edit it using the TD Composer, I’m redirected to a 404 error page.
Could you please assist me with resolving this?
I’d like to display the alternative text (ALT text) below the featured image on single post pages.
From what I understand, this doesn’t seem possible with CSS alone, since the ALT text is part of the HTML tag as an attribute (e.g.,
), but not rendered as visible content in the DOM. CSS cannot extract or display this attribute as visible text, and the ::after pseudo-element doesn’t work with
elements.
So far, it seems the only way to achieve this is by modifying the template via a child theme, using PHP to retrieve the ALT text from the media attachment metadata (_wp_attachment_image_alt) and print it beneath the image.
Can you confirm if this is the recommended approach? Or is there a built-in method in the Newspaper theme to output the ALT text visibly below the image, either via settings or hooks?

You need to assign that footer cloud template as global, this can be done from more places, for example you can do this from the theme panel – https://i.imgur.com/8ZOd1On.png or from cloud templates – https://i.imgur.com/GQAWjdA.png also, make sure that the footer is not set only as individual on that page or cloud template.
The footer image can be edited using tagDiv Composer – https://i.imgur.com/Bept9jG.png select the footer row and check the css tab from there you can remove or replace the image – https://i.imgur.com/dXwS33R.png
