Hi Ari,

1. You need to use tagDiv Composer edit the homepage and select the logo from header, then select the svg tab and remove the code from there – https://i.imgur.com/zkR1mV6.png this operation is need to be done on all header logos you are using (header, footer, sticky header, mobile header) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
2. From blocks it can be removed globally using the theme panel settings from Theme panel > blocks settings > meta info on modules/blocks – https://i.imgur.com/daSq2MT.png and for removing it from articles use tagdiv Composer to edit the single post template, and use the right click on element you want to delete – https://i.imgur.com/rl6q5O2.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/GTJmGPV.png
3. Unfortunately the element for the location is not working like that to display for each user the location where he/she is accessing the website, sorry!

Thank you!

Hi,
To edit the fonts for the pre-design website you are using you’ll need to use tagDiv Composer on pages and cloud template and adjust globally on page/template the from Manager > Fonts, for more details, please use our guide from here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
Thank you!

Thanks for each of your responses.

I’m surprised it’s not a quick, simple solution – such as simply deactivating the AMP plugin that’s compatible with the Newsmag template.

Previously, I used the plugin, “AMP for WP,” to make my webpages mobile on my previous website theme (WPZoom’s Tribune); however, I could easily make the pages mobile only again by deactivating the plugin.

I will try both of your suggestions over the weekend and report back. Stay tuned.

Thank you.

Hi Calin,

Thanks for the response. The website is https://regioonline.nl. It uses most cloud templates (but not everything), and has about 70 subpages. 62 of them have about the same layout as the homepage.

Query Monitor shows at Queries per component for td-composer

Plugin: td-composer 10 (SELECT) – 1 (SHOW) – 0 (UPDATE) – 3 (INSERT) – 0,0061 (TIME)

That seems not to be a lot. The plugin WP Media Folder however has 457 (SELECT) queries.

If you need more info or access please let me know

Please check the answer from here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/i-want-to-reduce-space-between-to-rowscolumn-element/page/3/

“And what page template should I select here in Cloud Template:” – no, that section is just to import pages that are already made and are available from cloud, is not like you import a template for all pages.

Hi,

Everything was going fine so far. Then I opened one page, went into “Edit with Composer,” and added an ad code under the header — and later removed it. I think I accidentally deleted something else too, because ever since then, extra ads are showing in the header and footer on the pages, category, and author pages — ads for which I haven’t placed any ad code anywhere.

Also, these are not showing because of AdSense Auto Ads. They’re only appearing due to some changes I made in the design of that page.

Check live pages:

https://techunpaid.com/privacy-policy/
https://techunpaid.com/category/instagram/

The 2 ads showing above and below (in the header and footer) — I haven’t placed them, nor are they from Auto Ads. There’s something wrong in the theme settings somewhere.

And what page template should I select here in Cloud Template:
https://share.zight.com/wbudq0kb

Only these options are showing in my theme:
https://share.zight.com/7KulN0R7

And if a wrong option is selected by mistake, how can I rollback or recover it?
I want to restore the pages section back to how it was earlier so that these 2 extra ads don’t show up.

These options are currently appearing when editing any page in Composer:
https://share.zight.com/BluePZ1L

What are these extra spaces between header (https://share.zight.com/rRuKAl8o) and footer (https://share.zight.com/JruYZLdy) and how can i remove them?

Help me to remove the extra header and footer ads. I want it to be like it was before.

Hi,
Ok, it appears that the website is blocked for a part of countries, so I us a VPN to check it out.
Now, I see that on homepage you have a different header, so I believe that maybe one of the theme plugins is no longer installed? Please go to Newspaper plugins and make sure that you have installed and activate the tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library and tagDiv Standard Pack (I believe that you do not have the standard pack that brings the old templates).
Thank you!

Hi,

Ok, I see that the menus are the same, so I will recommend to use the set the cloud header template as global, this can be done from Cloud templates – https://i.imgur.com/LDowYyZ.png this will apply the cloud header on entire website and the problem will be resolved.
Also, if you want to have a different cloud header on a page, on category or single template you can assign an individual template directly from the page/template from manager – https://i.imgur.com/9gmvt0o.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/bOLq46Y.png

Thank you!

👋 Hello tagDiv team & community,
I’m currently building my personal digital magazine site using Newspaper Theme 12 and I’ve run into a strange layout issue that I can’t seem to resolve on my own. I’d really appreciate any help or insight you can offer!

🔍 The Issue:
The footer and content on post pages appears misaligned to the left side — but only on:

Category pages

Single post pages

It renders perfectly fine and centered on:

The homepage

Custom static pages (like “Privacy Policy” “Join Syaz+,” etc.)

🧪 What I’ve Tried:
Zeroed out margin/padding via tagDiv Composer

Checked all footer row/column settings (full width, centered content, etc.)

Applied custom CSS (example below), but this affects global layout and causes issues elsewhere

Inspected with dev tools — the td-container inside .td-footer-wrapper seems to shift left on posts/categories

You may view the issues when visiting my site on an actual mobile phone, weird thing is: the issues doesn’t show up on the tagDiv Composer’s mobile view.

🌐 My Website:
https://syaz.co

⚙️ Theme Version & Setup:
Theme: Newspaper 12

Composer: tagDiv Composer

Footer: Custom Footer Template from tagDiv Cloud Library

No caching/minification plugins running while debugging

💡 Desired Outcome:
I’d like the footer to remain centered consistently across all page types, including:

Category archives

Single blog posts

🛠️ Optional CSS I tried (not reliable):
body.category .td-footer-wrapper .td-container,
body.single-post .td-footer-wrapper .td-container {
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
text-align: center;
}

🙏 Any help is appreciated!
I’m hoping someone might’ve encountered this before — or if tagDiv devs could shed some light on what might be causing this layout behavior across different templates.

Thanks in advance,
Syazwan Razali

Hi,

Wow, that’s smart! It worked!

I still have an issue with the menu, though.

I don’t have a “Cloud Template” menu set for my entire website (no one selected). However, when I tried to modify the header menu, I noticed that I couldn’t do so on the article pages.
For some reason, the header menu is different on those pages (you can see it on http://www.dr-detailing.com).

The error message I’m getting is:
“This type of header is not editable with TagDiv Composer. Please use a cloud header template!”

The home page works fine both on desktop and mobile, but the article pages have a different header.

I hope that’s clear. It’s a bit tricky to explain, but I’d appreciate any guidance on this issue.

Thanks in advance!

Hello,
With Tagdiv newspaper template (fastnews) when you open the home page with a mobile and click on menu icon you see the menu but you also see at the top social media icons.. Is there a way to remove these social media icons at the top of the menu? I found no way to do it with the tagdiv composer.

Hi,
I believe that what you need is a bit more complex. What you can do is to use the Lock Content in a different ways, on rows – per page and cloud templates – https://i.imgur.com/HE9HH0z.png (can be done with tagDiv Composer), on cpt per sections using the locker – https://i.imgur.com/eVmONIH.png on cpt content (make sure you enable the option in the theme panel for that cpt – https://i.imgur.com/J9hWr0n.png) – https://i.imgur.com/nUe6f63.png
You can check more about the locker in our documentation – https://forum.tagdiv.com/lockers/
Thank you!

PMEFR.COM We purchased the license and installed the Newspaper theme with the Business template. However, the page layout on the PC displays correctly, but on the mobile device, it changes negatively. IT’S UNCONFIGURED. You think the problem is solved, but 20 minutes or more later, the theme no longer displays as it appears in the internal configuration and on the PC.
The Newspaper theme is definitely very unstable.

Hi,
Please follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
Start by checking this guide: – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
If the issue appears on only one specific page, try restoring a previous version using WordPress revisions: – https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/complete-guide-to-wordpress-post-revisions/ Also, check if the problem is not on cloud template or footer template (replace theme or set no header no footer from the theme panel).

If the problem still persists, please contact us at contact@tagdiv.com. When reaching out:
Make sure you have a full backup of your website.
Provide temporary wp-admin and cPanel access.
Include the link to this topic in your message so we can easily identify your case.

Thank you!

Hi,
Most of the time the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme or a plugin conflict, therefore after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page/cloud template, the next time when you try to edit it, you’ll get that error.

If is only for one page or a cloud template (it can be on the header or footer, you can change them for tests and see if the problem persists), this is from some settings/shortcodes set on it and it can be fixed using the page revision -https://wordpress.com/support/page-post-revisions/
I hope this will help you!

Hi,

I think that here is a misunderstanding.
What I want to say is that if you use the free version of Elementor with the theme, there should be no problems, but this doesn’t mean that our theme contains elements from Elementor or elementor contains elements from our theme, each builder has it’s own elements, elementor has the elements coming with elementor and you can use it to create a page without problem and Newspaper theme has the tagDiv Composer that can create pages and cloud templates. Just do not use both builders on the same page.

Thank you!

Calin

Hi,
In td_011 are store all the data from the theme, there all set the settings, cloud templates, backup for theme panel, pages and so on. -> https://imgur.com/k7nkIRg
If you have more settings and a big website then is possible that the database to grow, there are set data for posts and pages, categories, author.
If you want you can check this article: 7 Tips To Reduce WordPress Database Size -> https://www.webhostingsecretrevealed.net/blog/wordpress-blog/7-tips-to-reduce-wordpress-database-size/ but before to make any actions, please make a full backup to your website and database and only after that make changes in database.
Thank you!

Subject: Persistent Issue with Custom Header Configuration Resetting to Default – Newspaper Theme

Dear tagDiv Support Team,

We are experiencing a recurring issue with the Newspaper theme on our WordPress website.

At random intervals, the theme loses the custom header configuration and reverts to the default layout. This also affects individual post pages and category pages, which suddenly switch back to default templates instead of maintaining our customized design.

We have tried disabling plugins one by one to identify potential conflicts, but unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue. Each time this happens, we are forced to manually reassign the correct header and templates via the front end, which is both time-consuming and unsustainable.

If you need to access the WordPress admin area to investigate further, you may use the following temporary login credentials:
• Username: ****
• Password: ****
If necessary we will send in private message.
We would greatly appreciate your help in identifying the root cause and providing a stable solution to prevent the loss of custom settings.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards,
– lortica.it

Hi,
The tagDiv Composer is a builder and it can be used on pages and cloud templates only, not to create pots only templates for posts.
Thank you!

Calin

Hello,

To set a page to full width (or a cloud template), you’ll need to edit it with tagDiv Composer like this -> https://i.imgur.com/i5IUJ9E.jpg add or select a row and stretch it after your needs -> https://i.imgur.com/WKYebPX.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/TO1BZ3M.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Yq8UCv3.jpg
If you want to make the layout full width, then to change the website width, you need to make sure that you don’t have set a background color/image in the Theme Panel because this makes your website boxed. Make sure this option is disabled => https://www.screencast.com/t/ejiNPCBF

Thank you!

Calin
tagDiv Staff

Hi percezioni.
You need to make sure that the social network are set with the full link (https://www….), please check in the theme panel > social > social networks – https://i.imgur.com/YnsOKLz.png make sure that if you have a social there is the complete link to that social. Next step will be to check on pages and cloud templates, the social networks, those are set using tagDiv Composer and not the theme panel settings, but the link should also be the full – https://i.imgur.com/aajksb1.png (set the full link)

Thank you!
