Why make Templates pretty but don’t respect the conditions, too slow, have a very nice site but no visitors, what interests, I sincerely hope that themeforest will apply conditions to be able to sell Templates with them,
PageSpeed Insights is applying new measures and it intends to penalize sites that do not respect it, google pays big fines every year for exceeding bandwidth, so yes for chrome to use less bandwidth it will penalize slow sites.
And it has already started.
So yes your templates are super well done but have no interest, it is even a big waste of time for us to go after them to optimize the speed, improve or we change the dairy as they say here in France.

tagDiv Composer is a page and cloud builder, it can be used only for pages and cloud templates, therefore you can use it on a single post template from tagDiv cloud library to adjust the layout, but not to write the post content, for this you need to use the WordPress editor.
You can still edit the page with TD Composer in WordPress->Pages => https://www.screencast.com/t/AMOjYCA7Q7p, or in front side, as you said.

I checked your website and everything seems to work fine. Also, you can not edit a homepage with Mobile Theme plugin.
If you will create the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. The default Google Fonts: Open Sans and Roboto.fonts can be enable/disable from here -> https://imgur.com/eViu8D4 those are use for classic elements and templates. For pro it can be set only with tagdiv Composer.
The footer template can be edited only from frontend, edit a page/post template with tagDiv Composer and go down to footer, or if you want to assign one, use the manager -> https://i.imgur.com/Q5PeHkp.png (the footer templates does not have the button to be edited in backend).

Hi Topfgartenwelt, if you want, you can use a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, edit it with tagDiv Composer, and set the featured image size that you want on responsive version -> https://i.imgur.com/tnA3MAu.png this can be done for each view port.
Also you can use the mobile page and create mobile post templates -> https://i.imgur.com/Pn7UN8g.png
Unfortunately for the moment this option is not available on mobile theme.

The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:

Please note that rarely Newspaper theme has big updates that will require your attention in updating the child, usually there are small bug fixes, updates on page speed, new features for the cloud templates. None of this will affect your child, therefore in our opinion this would be the best solution.

Hi, I’m trying to migrate from the “standard pack” to the new Newspaper cloud templates, but I have a problem: in many posts I receive several errors as for example
wp_booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: single_template_2 is not set.
(And it doesn’t load the page), because I used the option to apply “custom single post template” to individual posts very often in the previous version.
Is there any way to define a “single post template” for all the posts on the website? I tried to put the “default post template (site wide)” in the theme panel / post settings, but it doesn’t work…
I have more than 1000 posts and it’s impossible to modify each one by hand.

Thank you. I’m using Cloud templates. I checked each single section of the homepage (where GTMetrix tell me that I also have the Roboto font: https://imgur.com/a/ilRtOqD). In some sections I specified Open Sans font, in the others I have “Def” as default font. So, what is used as Def font? Where is it specified?
Anyway, as Footer section I’m using the “Footer – COV-19 Italy Report PRO” but I can’t edit it with Tagdiv Composer, so I can’t check which fonts it’s using. Take a look: https://imgur.com/a/ilRtOqD

Having some trouble on a multisite.
When I hit the “Edit content” button of a “Text with title” the wheel turns forever and won’t open on a subsite of a multisite.
Also: I sometimes cannot access the login page of the mainsite, it shows a “page not found” error. When I wait a few minutes it works again.
I have lots of errors when I activate the wp-debug (not sure if this is the same problem)

After updating to the latest Newspaper theme, my website https://blondeintheair.com has become distorted in size and there is code and other things written on the bottom of my page:

When I open my home page in the TagDiv Composer, it says:
“Error at zones: 6(models) : 5(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”.
What should I do?

Hi, this is because the gadgets pro is using an overlay header and all the pages, post should have first set an image and over it will be set the header menu.
Another solution is to change the header menu or change it from overlay using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/QAXbOyT.png and set the header template 62 -> https://i.imgur.com/LOtVjms.png.

Hi today when I check my web I found my cloud templates can’t be edit using Tagdiv composer.
I can use Tagdiv composer to edit Pages without problems, but couldn’t use it for Cloud templates.

So for all of those that are interested, there is a bug in the Standard Pack plugin on the plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/page.php template.
On line 20 where it says
$td_page = td_util::get_post_meta_array($post->ID, 'td_page');
you should replace that with
if($post->ID === 0){
$page_id = get_queried_object_id();
$td_page = td_util::get_post_meta_array($page_id, 'td_page');
} else {
$td_page = td_util::get_post_meta_array($post->ID, 'td_page');
}
As when you are on a page which has any BuddyPress components on it, the $post variable is not set which means none of the page settings from TD are being used.
@Calin can you submit his to your developers so we don’t have to modify core code?

If you have Standard Post Template, you can change the style in Theme Panel -> Post Settings -> Sharing => https://www.screencast.com/t/6sL8Fl6lAQIy. These styles are predefined, and you can do the change only with Custome CSS, I can help if you providing a link for your post.
If you have Single Post Template from Cloud Library, you can change the color with tagDiv Composer =>https://www.screencast.com/t/UnD2fzasf, on the Single Post Share, click on the Element and select Buttons background color, like this =>https://www.screencast.com/t/MD6uRsbXrAgI .

I just bought the Newspaper Theme and run in to an issue directly.
The first thing i tried to do with the theme was to change logo and it failed.
I tried to do this in the Header Template – Life News PRO as you are told us to do in documentations, but nothing happens don’t matter what i do. I tried even in the Theme Options but nothing happens. The image is allowed to show and of cource it’s also saved as it should.
But it will always only show text and sub text for logo, not the image.
Also i do have a couple of questions about the theme.
How can i have a default image background on all posts or disable the whole page title area with the featured image, i tried to find an option like this but it seems not be possible.
I’m using the Life News Pro demo.
And does this themes page builder work with Shopify button codes (collections) on a page? For that i will need a new page without any sidebars and do not want to install any other page builders.
Hope you will return with solutions for the logo issue and my questions.
