Please check this and let me know!

Hi, if you are using a pro demo, then you can use tagDiv Composer, edit the cloud template from cloud library and change the number of posts.
If is a default category template, then the number of posts from the loop can be change only global from here -> https://i.imgur.com/haLY6eE.png

Hi Team,

I want to have subcategory list to be sorted in descending order.
I have created this hierarchy of categories

Issues >
2020 > 01- Jan 02- Feb,03-March..
2021 > 01- Jan 02- Feb,03-March..

I am using a cloud category template.Category Template 28 – Fashion Pro.

I have this template assigned to “Issues’

It has subcategories displayed in it with its thumbnail. The order is ascending. 2020,2021..

When I click on the 2020 – its category page is displayed with its thumbnail.
Below this I have added sub category list.

Actual: This sub category list has 01- Jan 02- Feb, 03-March..
Expected: 03- March,02- Feb,01- Jan

How can i achieve this?

Hi,
Using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders or shortcodes ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor -> https://i.imgur.com/ho41rUl.png and this content will be display on mobile theme, also the mobile theme will not display any sidebar)
-> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png

Also you can show the responsive version on mobile theme (to get the same layout as on desktop on mobile) -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
These options are like this:
Mobile -> the mobile theme will apply only on mobile version.
Mobile + amp -> it will apply on both and it will have the same layout.
Amp -> the mobile theme plugin layout will be use only for amp version.
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hello !

The footer template can be edited from any page not from Cloud Library. Simply open the Website manager, select your footer and scroll to the bottom of the page: https://www.screencast.com/t/yPw3NdjJw0i

Thank you !

Hello !

The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.

You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !

Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:

Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC

You are now able to create mobile viewport templates as you can see in our guide here: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/

! Atention ! If you are using mobile templates you will have to remove the mobile theme plugin and also at the moment AMP is not working with mobile templates.

Hi,
This is my site: https://abtsdollar.com/. I am using newspaper theme with woocommerce and wc vendor pro plugin…we are facing an issue that the shop header ( by wc vendor pro multivendor marketplace plugin) is not showing in the vendor shop page. here: https://abtsdollar.com/vendors/roping-shop/ . But when i open a product as single page then shop header is showing perfectly. Here: https://abtsdollar.com/shop/roping-art/ … and these things are our issue.
Please note that, We already asked the wc vendor pro support and dev team…They said that this is the theme issue….They said that the theme is overriding standard/ default woocommerce codes and hoks for the shop page templates and using themes own custom codes for the sho page templates…Thats why, The shop header is not working and not showing in the vendor shop page..
So,please check everything and provide a solution..It’s really important to us.
Thank you so much.

My software developer added some modifications to the end of functions.php file.
Those modification didn’t change Template options, this is for online chat operation for all pages.
screen – https://prnt.sc/vtlnpc
When I updated Template to the new version – those modifications were erased in the new brand new file – functions.php
I have to find old backup file and added some code manually again to run chat.

I heard about “Child Template” option to avoid such problem after update.
Could you explain, is it possible to do it with Newspaper template?

Hello !

You will have to assign the tag page as you can see here:https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/

Thank you !

Vlad S

Hello !

In order to adjust page width you have to select every row of your page using the tagDiv Composer and then set the stretch mode you want like here : https://www.screencast.com/t/BkWwdHh6

In order to make the post page full width you will have to add a single post template and then edit it. Check more about how to have single post template here: https://tagdiv.com/customize-articles-with-single-post-templates/ And for the header you can do it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/xf56tQN0.

These are the ways you can increase your page width from theme options. Anything above this will require custom code which is not covered by the support team.

Please make sure that there are NO background images / color. Not even white. All your background color have to be set on clear.

Thank you !

I’m going to ask the same question a third time. Because I did not get any reply from supporters.

Please tell me why the mobile version of my website is completely different from the computer version. I worked on my desktop version completed it. But my mobile version is still browsing the template pages of the Newspaper template. How can I change it?

I am having a lot of pain changing the pre-defined ones. In detail, I’m referring to the Theme Panel > Block Settings > Thumbs on Modules / Blocks. Accordingly, I will like to edit from 1920×0 to 1200x 628 and the rest of the thumb sizes in that multiple. This is because all my images are based on that size.

Consequently when I try to create a new page template or to start from scratch, nothing works and all my images are cropped up in a way or another. Given that I have already spent a lot of time trying to make things work, it is frustrating that nothing is working so far.

All in all, I merely wanted two designs – one for homepage (and category page will inherit this design), and another page for single post (and other pages will inherit this design).

If we cannot change the default ones, then I will face a lot of unnecessary images being generated whenever I upload a new image. This is for sure inefficient and unnecessary. Therefore, I hope you can guide me through and help me out as this is taking too much time without any improvement.

Thank you.

Until recently, the controls for choosing post templates appeared at the bottom of the edit-post page. With the latest version of WordPress, they seem to have disappeared. How do I get them back or where did they go?

Hi yadavrohit,
I think that this can be done only in theme files, for this I need some more details about your website, a link to a post will help to see what kind of templates are you using, in this way I will be able to guide to the page that need to be edited.
Thank you!

Hi,
If you are using a standard demo with standard templates, you can remove the author from posts using the settings from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/HfvbjY3.png
If you are using a pro demo, this use cloud templates, you need to edit theme with tagDiv Composer and use the right click on the elements that you want to remove -> https://i.imgur.com/GfWLUGT.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/qEBR6DR.jpg
Hope this will help you!
