This is exactly what I am trying to edit. I have done it previously as well. The Page Template edits, its not happening. It loads and loads the a white screen. Thats it.
yep the problem is i use cloud template, but i need to use the comments.php from the child theme because a plugin that i’m using (wp comment addon of newsletters plugin), only works with the comments.php of child theme….. how can i do ?
i have to use child theme comments.php and page template with tagdiv composer editor

You are using a pro demo, with a cloud header, those are not using the ads from theme panel. Pro demos are made using tagDiv Composer and cloud templates, all these can be edited with tagDiv Composer and the ads are set in ad box element -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-ad-spots/ ; the ad box has 3 sections for ads: using theme panel ads -> https://i.imgur.com/KFa9ibl.png, using images/banners -> https://i.imgur.com/MfAPTaE.png and custom code -> https://i.imgur.com/2rh8SuD.png

I think that the problem is that you have set an overlay header as global in theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/aL31ECR.png this will apply on entire website.
What you can do to this this, is to set a different cloud header from tagDiv Cloud Library as global, then edit the homepage with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/383IVrI.png select the header manager and set that overlay header -> https://i.imgur.com/4FVw8Xg.jpg

I see that you are using a pro demo and you edited the single post template with tagDiv Composer to set the shortcode, but this is set on post template and it will apply for all posts, you need to set that shortcode in post/article -> https://i.imgur.com/Lk4tm2E.png.

The footer can be edited only from frontend, edit a page/post template with tagDiv Composer and go down to footer, or if you want to assign one, use the manager -> https://i.imgur.com/Q5PeHkp.png (the footer templates does not have the button to be edited in backend).
Also the abut PSD, I made a request to our designer to provide the psd for that demo.

The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:

i have set Style 3 but my webpage shows only Style 13. It doesn’t respons to changing the style from Theme Panel. I have also tried to clear cache but nothing happens.

I’m looking for a way to create a list of restaurants / delivery services in order to support the local businesses with postings free of charge on my event-page in times of the current Corona shutdown.
Filtering only seems to work using taxonomies.
I’ve tried this with the td_books, but I’m not strong enough to create it as follows:
Type: Gastro (instead of books)
Type: Pizzeria, snack bar, restaurant (would probably be “genre” for books ) to filter the art of food
Place: the cities around (second genre?)
Type: Pickup / Delivery (to filter)
I would like to use template 5 – but that has to be adjusted – comments or comment counter and date are not necessary. Just as little as matching postings or author box.
Can someone help me step by step in an uncomplicated way so that I, as a noob, understand that too?

I am sorry for the misunderstanding !
At the moment there is no option to preset a template for each page but what you can do is to create one template, save it and after that you can copy the code of the page: https://www.screencast.com/t/R8MPhANso ; https://www.screencast.com/t/dvLw4KzZB and you cna use this shortcode on the next page you. Please note that when you will open the new page using tagDiv Composer you will receive a notice that states ” This content has not been created with Tagdiv Composer” simply resave that page and that will work.
Unfortunately for the moment CPTs cannot be used with Cloud library templates, only with standard templates from theme panel. You can make them as you can see in our guide here:https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/

My problem is I would like to create a general page template for all my content pages (not posts). Like I mentioned my “About”, “Contact”, “Woocommerce” pages, etc… Currently these just are pages with content that’s added by the Classic Editor.
I don’t want to build each page with the TagDiv page builder invididually. The only thing that makes them different is their textual content so not handy if I would have to design them each. Also when I want to change the layout a bit for pages I would have to change them all. But there is no way to assign a Cloud Template to all pages it ssems.
In your second video you don’t show how you would assign a single post template to a specific custom post type. I’ll give an example. If I create a “Recipes” custom post type and I would to create a Single Template that only should be applied to posts of this “Recipe” type. How would I assign the Cloud Template I created only to these Recipes and not to all posts of all post types?

Hi,
I’ve just bought the newspaper theme last week and starting to working with it on a development site. I imported the Gourmet Pro Demo and I really like the flexibility of the theme a lot but now I come across a few issues. I
The pages I created (i.e. Contact Page, Woocommerce pages, About us page, …) don’t have the same layout as the rest of the site. Way smaller container width, other font, etc … I was looking for a way to define a general layout for pages with the Cloud Templates but I can’t find a way to do that? Is this possible?
I don’t want to “build” each page individually actually with the TagDiv builder. That would be a hassle. I would like to create a general layout for them so we can just inject the textual content for that page in the layout.
Secondly I would like to create a “single post” layout for a custom post type I created. I would like them to look a bit different thant the single post layout that has been imported by the Gourmet PRO demo. How can I do that?
P.S. I am a developer so I can write code myself đ If it’s not possible in the UI but it can be done by code that’s also fine for me!

There are 2 categories:
Cloud library templates
Standard templates.
Everything that is found in Cloud Library templates are fully editable using tagDiv Composer. Flex Blocks are fully editable using tagDIv Composer and. You cannot add author photo on blocks.

Newspaper theme will not affect on post content only on post template.
If your category pages are cloud libray templates you will need to edit the template using tagDiv Composer, right click on the element and press delete.

Also the sidebar from that section can be set from here -> https://i.imgur.com/09fB6f7.png and if you want to edit the elements from default sidebar you can do it from here -> https://i.imgur.com/bJSfRVC.png

I just started using Newspaper version 10.3.7. I’m doing this on my existing website, https://klapptre.is/. I’m an experienced WordPress user so I know my way around a lot of stuff regarding themes and templates. Your template is good in many ways but nevertheless I have multiple questions and points (and might have more later).
Here it is:
Module Names in Theme Panel should be the same as in TagDiv Composer. Itâs very confusing now, you are trying to change font sizes or colours and you have no idea where to go and it takes ages to find out – and sometimes you canât find it.
Where do I remove comment count on category pages?
Same on search template?
Where do I resize Article Headers in Module 2 in Flex Block 4 – for example? Where do I do it with all the other blocks?
How do I change the default on pull quote and block quote in posts from centre align to left align and not capitals?
Why isnât there a show author photo box in Flex Block 2 as there is in Flex Block 4?
How can I show all the widgets on the front page site wide?

There is a possibility to preview homepage templates in the cloud library without downloading them to the server. Unfortunately, there is no such possibility for homepage mobile templates. How can we preview on the mobile device without downloading the mobile templates to the server?

How to change bulk all posts to apper with Post Page Personalized (from panel) by Cloud Templates?

âThe current content hasnât been created by TagDiv Composerâ â that notice isnât be the result of actual issues in most cases, that just notice that the last time that page/cloud template was not saved using tagDiv Composer. If you can successfully edit the page or could template then there is no problem, despite the message.
When this message appear âERROR: Errors at columns elements: 1(models): 0(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)â then indeed it is a problem, most of the time the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme, therefore after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page/cloud template, next time when you try to edit it you’ll get that error.
