Some sub-categories are not appearing in the global templates list. This results in posts all defaulting to the last filter I chose?! How do I get each sub-categorie page to display the post filter I require.

Thank you for any guidance

Hi,

Our theme includes a plugin called tagDiv Opt-in Builder, which is used for the membership subscription functionality. This plugin has separate pages for login/register, my account, and checkout, which can be placed here: https://i.imgur.com/QDQDwRB.png.
If you want to use this plugin, you can take advantage of the menu login element, which looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/z8OO3vw.png. This element provides multiple functionalities besides just login/register.
This way, you can create a login page without using the popup.
Also, if you want to change the theme files, here are all the files that are related to login and register and can be used with our theme (depending on the templates and options you choose), but we don’t recommend changing in the theme:
– wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/register.php
– wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/header/td-login-modal.php
– wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/parts/tdb-login-modal.php
– wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/parts/tdb-comments.php

Thank you!

Good morning,

I’m using the TagDiv Newspaper theme and have a question regarding the mobile display.

I’m aware that there are two options for mobile devices:

The Mobile Template via Cloud Templates
The Mobile Theme using the AMP plugin
My question refers specifically to the Mobile Template, not the AMP version.

I have created two separate templates via the Cloud Templates:
– one Homepage Template for Desktop
– one Mobile Template for mobile devices

However, on many mobile devices, the Desktop Template is still being displayed instead of the intended Mobile Template.

How can I ensure—or force—that mobile devices reliably display the Mobile Template?

Thank you in advance for your support!

Hello, could you please explain what you mean by a ‘standard template’? Also, what is the ‘Page Layout Size’ option in the theme panel used for? I couldn’t find any documentation that talks exectly about this at all.

Hi, I am trying to resize the homepage of my website through the theme panel in the page template section, but it doesn’t work. When I set it to 1200px or 1600px, it doesn’t make any difference , it remain at 1100px ,the background only contains another plugin, which shouldn’t be a problem .

Hello,
When I try to duplicate cloud templates and move them to other languages, I get this error :

Error at rows: 1(models) : 3(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)

And after that, it redirects me to the 404 error page and I can’t edit anymore.
Can you please help me with this?

Hello!

Yes, especially the cloud templates made by the tagdiv Composer. Please check the differences between cloud vs default templates from our guides:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-default-templates/

Thank you!

Hi,

The tagDiv Composer is our page builder. It can be used to create pages and cloud templates, but not posts. For this, you’ll need to use Gutenberg or a classic editor.
Using tagDiv Composer, you can build/edit the single post template (the layout of the posts).
Here is a video that will show you how to use the builder to create a website from scratch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg to do this you’ll need to have the posts already.

Thank you!

Sorry for the grammatical errors but I don’t know English (I’m using Google translator).

I’m using your theme for a small site. So far everything has been fine and little by little I’ve started to understand how it works.

Today I get this long error message every time I try to open an article.
What did I do wrong? Is it fixable?
Thanks.
The site is in maintenance mode because it is not ready yet. http://www.sinistraplurale.com

I have confirmed that when Yoast is disabled the gallery works as intended, but with it enabled, the fatal error persists. If I change the shortcode to standard WordPress gallery it works, so it specific to the td_select_gallery_slide=”slide” gallery.

I am not sure if this is a specific TagDiv issue that can be fixed or if this is a Yoast issue that I need to bring up with them.

Thank you in advance.

Hello!

Of course. By using the responsive version or mobile page, you can edit your mobile viewport and add the shortcode called Mobile menu: https://app.screencast.com/PKN1tAHAq5Okq
Then, you should select a menu from the shortcode’s settings.
We recommend using cloud/PRO templates to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer, which contains a lot of functions and features; please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:

Hello!

You can go to the Dashboard -> Add new page, give it a name, and press the blue button edit with the tagdiv Composer. From here you will be able to customize it. Also, you can edit the page template you’ve created in a new tab and copy paste the element in your page edited with the tagdiv Composer(Click on the row right-click -> copy, go to the page click on the empty row, right-click ->paste.) Also, you can save elements and find them on the left side, where you can add any new element with the name you set (refresh page).
Unfortunately, the page template is different than the other templates. You can not set it as global.

Hi there,
I have a template setup for a listing – and it has images which are pulled from a custom field which show perfectly fine. But I don’t seem to be able to enable that to be a modal/lightbox. I’ve seen other demos with this but am I right in thinking this is a ACF pro feature to enable this?

Essentially I want images clickable so they popup in a lightbox and get larger if that makes sense.

Also with regards to flex loop filters, I can happily show taxonomies on a search/listing page but don’t seem to be able to show anything from a field group so If I had a custom field for company, I’d like a dropdown so you can filter by company.

Thanks
David

Hello!

This situation appears when you are using the mobile theme plugin and the cache plugin that you have, which does not feature options for a separate mobile theme plugin, therefore do not know when to deliver the mobile version and when to deliver the desktop version.
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.

Hello!

If you change the colors on elements from a single post template, or any type of customizable page (category, homepage, author, search, & more) it will override the global settings made in the Theme Panel. For cloud templates, check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-website-manager/

Hello!

Access the article and check here near the green button: https://app.screencast.com/FBTsL7mtqEBcU
Also, you can see the template used when you edit the post with Gutenberg at the bottom of the page in the post settings.
Check also in the theme panel settings -> Categories -> Per category settings.

I have created a custom template for my WordPress website by writing the code directly via FTP. The page displays correctly on desktop, but on mobile, it does not show my template. Instead, I see a message like “No mobile content – Edit mobile content.”

I have checked my template files, but I’m not sure what’s causing this issue. Could this be related to responsive design, caching, or something else? Any insights would be appreciated!
