Hi Gmcarlson,
You can add and remove the margins using tagDiv Composer also using this bulder you can add the button too. The thing is that in this header https://cloud.tagdiv.com/header-template-25/?edit_url=null the header is set as overlay over an image -> https://i.imgur.com/VxHJ1iC.png -> https://i.imgur.com/clKDemY.png
If this is not quite what you mean, pleas provide some more details and some screenshots.
Thank you!
Hi,
So the settings that you made were to not use a cloud template (setting made in theme panel) and you inherit in Website Manager for the selected page/template the option from theme panel. In this you you can use a standard footer template or a footer page -> https://i.imgur.com/0mstlH1.png
Thank you!
Hi,
If you are using cloud template or pro demos (these are made only with cloud templates), these can be edited only with tagDiv Composer, the settings from theme panel will not affect theme.
https://i.imgur.com/8ojZ6ky.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/ygtOSDE.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/Ll7FbE6.jpg use the right click to remove the elements -> https://i.imgur.com/kHSinov.png
Thank you!
Hi,
In tagDiv Standard Pack are set the old/standard ( https://i.imgur.com/t9LwDvf.png -> https://i.imgur.com/e2LgQxA.png -> https://i.imgur.com/2SWOvLL.png -> https://i.imgur.com/9eYYOan.png ) theme templates that can not be edited using tagDiv Composer. Now our team update the theme to cloud templates in this way you can edit the entire website with tagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hi,
I already answer -> https://i.imgur.com/KaFLw45.png but I will try to do it better.
This is because you are using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders or shortcodes ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme, also the mobile theme will not display any sidebar)
-> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png
Unfortunately if you are using same plugin for shortcodes, this will not work on mobile theme, it will be interpreted as a html text, this will work only on responsive version. Also because amp plugin is use with mobile theme plugin the shortcode will not work on amp too, only if you do not use the mobile theme for amp.
Also you can show the responsive version on mobile theme (to get the same layout as on desktop on mobile) -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
Thank you!
Hi yudi budiman,
If you are referring to auto Scrolling from homepage, then you can set it on pro demos using tagDiv Composer on posts loop -> https://i.imgur.com/LvY710o.png
If you are referring to infinite loading, you’ll need to edit the single post template with tagDiv Composer and disable the infinite loading.
-> https://tagdiv.com/infinite-loading-for-single-posts/ from post -> https://i.imgur.com/yIf6fA3.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/KeclHLS.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/4jHIHFY.png
Thank you!
Hi chotaweb,
If you are using cloud template or pro demos (these are made only with cloud templates), these can be edited only with tagDiv Composer, the settings from theme panel will not affect theme.
https://i.imgur.com/8ojZ6ky.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/ygtOSDE.jpg
Also the background image from header can be change only with tagDiv Composer, you need to click on the row and chcek the css tab -> https://i.imgur.com/8Be7CCp.jpg
Thank you!
I have installed the newspaper theme about 1.5 month ago and today I tried to activate it.
Unfortunately, I received a problem message: We are sorry but you are not allowed to access this page
My hosting company replied that there is no server side issue and also increased the Memory Limit to the maximum.
Could you please assist? It is urgent to download category and header templates and now I can’t.
Hi askshameer,
There is no templates for wooCommerce, but you can set the wooCommerce shortcode in pages using tagDiv Composer, these need to be set in column text or text with title in text area -> https://i.imgur.com/dY3qluv.png -> https://imgur.com/CSPcls9
Also cloud templates can be use only for theme.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi soccerratmartin,
Using tagDiv Composer you can edit and build pages and cloud templates, but you can not use it to make posts, these can be edited only from WordPress Gutenberg editor.
If you have some questions about our theme, just let me know!
Thank you!
Hi,
I created a page, but I’m having a hard time figuring out how to add a sidebar just like I did for the single post template.
Bellow I attached a image. I’m trying to get that same sidebar on the right, to show on the page to the left.
I tried adding the widget sidebar in TD composer, but nothing changes and I can’t add the sidebar content mannualy. Any help?
Thanks
Hi hayoka,
First make sure that you have selected some social share in theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/QP2cZOU.png -> https://i.imgur.com/3U3CueI.png after these are set and are not displaying, then you need to edit the single post template from tagDiv Cloud library with tagDiv Composer and add the social share element -> https://i.imgur.com/Z64kvct.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Ee8EtTv.png
Thank you!
Hi,
To set a child theme you can use our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/ please note that this will work only for standard templates and is not apply for cloud templates.
If I can ask, for what do you need a child theme? what do you want to set in it?
If you are using a PRO demo then you can achieve almost everything and you can edit entire website using tagDiv Composer.
Thank you for understanding!
Hi drmitzvah,
For the problem with mobile menu and search, please make a test and disable all non theme plugins, clear all cache and check again, is possible to use some plugins that are slowing this functionality.
If you do not like the mobile theme plugin , then you can use the responsive version (disable the mobile theme) or you can use mobile theme and show the responsive version of homepage using this option -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
Thank you!

Hi sportvisionlab,
As I know tbd-view-category is from cloud templates and it can not be set a child theme, will not work.
So if is a cloud template you can edit it with tagDiv Composer, also if you want you can choose a different header per cloud category and you can set a different cloud category per each category you have -> https://i.imgur.com/V2gtadX.png
Hope this will help you!
Dear Vlad,
Thanks for the codes but it does not work.
After I put the code in the footer template, the message “There has been a critical error on your website.” was shown in the end of the page. Furthermore, the code makes the page which was open at the laptop smaller like the mobile phone size. Attached is the screen with the codes;
https://namhyojin.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/screencapture-namhyojin-2020-07-21-15_47_31.png
By the way, attached is the footer image of the classic pro which I want to use as you know.
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_classic_pro/
https://namhyojin.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/tagdiv_newpaper_classic_pro_footer.jpg
I am not sure if this is same with the Default pro footer which you gave me.
Thanks for your support.
i want to insert custom image ads.. (images that will be sent to me to post by local businesses.)i have read everything on the site and it says i can do that but doesn’t really explain how (unless they are adsense/google ads etc) for someone who is new to this.
i asked you how to add ads without them affecting the row and you replied that it’s not possible however the site states: “Keep the ad in its own separate row” – how?
the site says: “by hosting local businesses’ ads” – this is what i want: small image ads from local businesses linking to their sites. i do not understand how.
“The new “Ad Box” element added into the tagDiv Composer makes it easy for you to copy-paste the ad codes straight on the front end. What’s more, you can even use this shortcode to display local business ads.” – i would like to know how to do this.
“Sample image ad with different images for each device: This is just for custom ads. ” – where do i get the codes? how do i set the size? (i see where to set adsense sizes but that’s all) i would like local business ads to be in aprox. 95×300 rectangular boxes one below the other down the right column/sidebar and in another area of the homepage i would like a row of them 125×125 across. (i have tried every way to get ad boxes across including creating a row with 3 columns and inserting an inner row to each that has 2 columns… otherwise ads placed just go below and not beside each other – if i don’t put a row it doesn’t work – i know this is incorrect but i don’t know how to do it. ) how do i create a template with the set sizes so i don’t have to do it every time?
(if i can figure it out i would like this to be added to all other pages but for now i am trying to do it on the homepage.)
i am not understanding so if you could please help i would very much appreciate it.
thank you.
I used a ready template for the categories.
The ready template has 2 post loops on the same page.
I did not change anything.
Do you mean that the templates are wrongly created?
Hi,
Unfortunately we do not tested any kind of these plugins, also we do not know there behavior and we can not recommend one.
As I know most of these plugins are working if you are using a standard post template, but will not work on cloud templates.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
I am trying to create a custom header using the template file header.php of my child newspaper theme.
The problem is that when I try to edit a page or a template (e.g a template footer) with tagdiv composer I get an error.
Error at zones: 6(models) : 2(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)
I need to be able create a custom header very fast without go through the tagdiv composer or customize cloud templates
So what I should do to prevent this error?
Thanks,

Hi,
A single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library is like a difficult one, is just the template fore your posts, but also if you set a lot of elements it can take a negative impact for pages speed, but if you keep it nice and clean, it should be faster then a standard post style.
Thank you!
Hi,
Indeed the related posts container is no longer accessible on tagDiv Composer, these elements are still present in some pro demos like the default single post template, but it’s functions were added in flex block, therefore the results should be the same.
-> https://i.imgur.com/2rBNV5D.png -> https://i.imgur.com/O4G7ItY.png
Therefore in your example if a post has a category that the current post has it will be display on related categories.
An alternative to use the related posts container is to import a single post template from cloud library (Single Post Template 1-20) save that element using the right click -> https://i.imgur.com/40FOQJ7.png in this way you will be able to use it in your current single post template.
Thank you!
Hello !
Then we recommend you to use a Cloud library template in order to be able to fully edit it using tagDiv Composer. Follow our guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
Thank you !
