The Newsletter element is only available in the tagDiv composer to be placed on pages. It is not present as a widget. You could use a HTML or text widget to display a newsletter in post sidebars for the moment.
There are plans in coming updates to change how the post templates are used and created, there will be major changes in the matter and a considerable amount of flexibility added. I cannot give you a time estimate however.
7. I am sorry but that would not be possible, the total fixed width is split in the post pages. There will be a maximum of 696px for the post content with a sidebar. That is how the theme was designed.
There are plans to make changes to how the post templates function and add a considerable amount of flexibility in creating a post page. This will be implemented in a future update, I cannot provide an exact time estimate.
10. I don’t know what that is and how exactly is that related to the theme. If there is a problem in the theme files, please mention where it is and I will pass it along to the developer team.

Unfortunately that is not a theme feature on mobile. There is no swipe to next/previous article at the moment.
The footer predefined templates have a maximum of 3 columns, but there is an option now that a page can be displayed in the footer

Hi,
I am using the “Hero” element on a page with the “Pagebuilder + Empty page” template setting for the page and there’s a white block of space when you scroll down to the bottom of my website (wamserforallentown.muhlenbergweekly.com or see screenshot here). I disabled the Cookies for Comments plugin, entered the code in this forum post and disabled the footer altogether, but the white space is there still. I just set up this subdomain so there are no/very few plugins. I am happy to provide login information if necessary. Can you help fix this?

If you use the blog and post template, then you cannot control which categories will show on the homage. It will simply show a list of all your latest posts no matter the category.
If you want to show particular categories, you will have to use a static page and create your layout in visual composer.
We recommend using the tagdiv composer (since newspaper 8) and updating to the latest version. You use a very old version of the theme.

There is something wrong with that page. there are lots of classes missing from it. How did you create that page? It is not a standard WordPress page template but it has no other class pointing to any other template. Is it a custom implementation? If this is the case, please note using the modules directly will not work .You will need to use blocks not modules.

Additionally, there should be an option or a check performed that if BuddyPress is enabled (and you have the login/logout item enabled) it will link to the /members/name/profile instead of /author/name/ this makes more sense than to link people to their author page which is likely going to be empty.
BuddyPress template lacks support for custom sidebars, (or no sidebar for that matter).
Sorry again, but I have tried to set this category to display as the Home Page (with right sidebar)-where all the posts are listed one after another and not display the 3 post images at the top. I have looked at the Blog and Post template (I assume it refers to the Home Blog & Posts) but can not determine its module type.
1. Is it possible to set the above category (actually all categories within the Regions + Places Page) as the Home Page-all the posts are listed one after another?

While using Tagdiv Composer to build pages, i use blocks with pagination, however the pagination options are only: next prev ajax, Load more button and infinite load, however I’d like to have a default latest articles pagination.

I would leave Latest articles on main page, but I can’t force it to be full-width, thats why i have to use tagdiv composers blocks, instead of “latest article” template.

I though the problem was with the Instagram widget or social counter. Note that a featured video from Instagram is not supported if that is what you are trying to do

You could enter the Instagram link in the beginning of the post content and select post template 5 (this template does not display a featured image in the post page)

It will look like a featured post, but you will have to set a featured image for the thumbnails to be created.
What Catalin was trying to say, is that if you have full width elements in the website (stretched rows in pages, full big grids, full width revolution sliders, post templates will full width elements etc) and you set a background color/image

Each module excerpt can be controlled, so you can set custom lengths for each one. Check which module you are using in the search page (Theme panel->Template settings)

Hi. I am loving the TagDiv Composer concept and started to test it by creating a new page and adding, adjusting elements. I saved the page (using the save icon in the TAGDiv composer panel on the left) and then exited TagDiv Composer. It asked me if I was sure (double checked save and it sent a saved message to the top of the screen so I exited). There is resulting code in the Pages template. I saved draft and then re-entered TAG Div composer… all my work is gone. Not sure what I am doing wrong. but can’t see anything on the tutorial about after you have finished designing. I feel I am missing a step

Can I do this with the template or do I need to create separate pages for each employee?

Sorry but for the moment our theme does not have such functionality. The content or sidebar width cannot be increased except for pages which can be stretched to full width. On posts and other templates, the width is fixed and there is no simple way to alter it.

I’ve been trying to locate where I can edit the bottom of the page on the Newspaper theme but I can’t seem to find which template to edit. There is a lot of CSS in that area and I’m trying to remove a part.
Where can I edit it?

It can be disabled by selecting a different page template.
But the pagination should not provide 404 errors, try re-saving the permalinks in the WordPress settings
