My client needs me to change some stuff. We need to add an image at the left of the title, and add some custom fields below it. I tryed to change stuff in loop-single.php, but the changes are not reflected.

Hi, I am unable to install the post loop template to the Blog page that shows all my blog posts. Why? Is there another way to create a blog page that allows customisation of how all the posts appear?

You can not achieve this with the element Posts Loop, but you can do this only with the element called “Flex block”. Check the guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

If you click on any author from the right side, then you’ll get all the posts written by the selected author. If you want a page like this, then you can import the author template from this demo Music & Life PRO. Copy-paste the rows or elements from this page to another page. The filter for that flex block is Author – Current Author and this is working only on an author template. If you want to use it on other page/template, then you need to filter by author ID as it is describes in the flex block’s guide.

I want to put a post loop on a page that shows posts from a particular user. So, filter posts by the author. Is this possible with the Posts Loop module?
I want to have (mostly) the same look on my category, tags and search pages. It would be lovely if I could make one template and turn into the three different templates, or copy an element. Is that possible, and if so, how?
Its mostly the “Posts Loop” element I would like to be similar without having to set up three different times.

Indeed, on the posts loop, only one author is displayed. I added this bug, and I hope in the next update will be fixed.
A solution is to use a flex block and to set filters until it is resolved.

at your suggestion I am using the “molongui” plugin to have the possibility to insert more than one author. Unfortunately, I have very obvious problems. The plugin works correctly for example on the home page using the various blocks. Even entering the article the authors are displayed correctly. Unfortunately, if you use for example the list of a tag archive (use pulse PRO tag cloud), only one author is displayed. The block that is used is: Posts Loop. Why does this happen?

Thank you for sharing the information. This process does not seem as intuitive as a plugin would be. Per the screenshots. I can exclude all pages or all posts, is there any way to exclude specific categories? For the loop element used in the cloud template, I am able to exclude posts ids. Again not very intuitive. Are there plugins that you have tested with your theme and can recommend similar to https://wordpress.org/plugins/search-exclude/.

The Posts Loops settings are divided into 5 tabs: General, Layout, Style, ADS and CSS. The Posts loop is a special block and doesn’t have filtering options.
Also, one of the options for pagination of the Posts Loop has the option for normal numbered and the flex blocks do not have this option.
The Posts Loop is automatically filtering the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example on the category page there will be posted posts from that category).

Can u record video, where u create new post and select gif as featured image. After that make sure it works on post page and in the posts loop block.

1. When you create mobile pages with TagDiv Composer with Mobile Theme plugin installed, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.

So I understood you add two blocks of the posts loop in your template, right? if yes, we do not recommend setting two posts loop on the same page/template, please use a flex block or another block, because most of the settings from the first loop element will be set for the second one.

I am trying to stylize my page using breakups in the post loop for category pages.
When I set a second “Posts Loop” with an offset it does not work as expected on the front end.
In the tagDiv Composer it shows correctly but on the frontend it repeats the posts ignoring the offset.

You can sort/filter the search page using the posts loop element. If you mean sorting in specific dates etc. what you can not find in the element settings, then there is no ETA yet.

We have tested only the Yoast SEO plugin, but there are users that use other SEO plugins, like Rank Math , AllinOneSEO … but we can not say that there can not appear problems when the theme or the plugin have a new update.
1. The archive cloud template should work to be assigned from the frontend -> https://i.imgur.com/XZ1Vp0W.png from Dashboard accessing the cloud templates -> https://i.imgur.com/fkLomAz.png and from the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/AP9zHWN.png
I just tested all those possibilities to assign an archive cloud template and for me are working. In you tried all of them and is still not apply the right one when you access the archive page, then it can be from a plugin conflict, in case that you are using extra plugins, please make a test using only tagDiv plugins.
2. The cloud library is displaying in WordPress top bar only on posts, categories … where can be assigned cloud templates, on pages can be set only sections from the cloud or the entire page, for this the cloud can be accessed from inside the tagDiv Composer -> https://prnt.sc/aiYc6E0XwzUP
3. The archive will display the posts. If you want to create it from scratch I suggest to add a new cloud template fore the archive -> https://i.imgur.com/gU5sbUX.png you can use the blank one -> https://i.imgur.com/Q3Fx6rY.png then edit it -> https://i.imgur.com/K3tqJ51.png here you can add the post loop element -> https://i.imgur.com/MGUOUwG.jpg (this will automatically filter the posts for the cloud template where is assigned, but need to be set only 1 post loop element), also you can add flex blocks and filter theme after the special filter -> https://i.imgur.com/0fSDTuG.jpg after that assign the cloud template using a method from point 1.

In LatinoLosAngeles.com, using Newspaper 11.4.1, the posts are repeated like in a loop. I tried to disable infinite loading single posts but nothing happened. It is the same post repeated.

Is there a way to force only featured images to display in posts loop even though a post has a featured video assigned?
In some of my posts (that show within the same loop in the category view) I have just featured image, but some has featured image + featured video. In the posts loop view I’d like all of them to show only as featured images. Is that possible?

The issue is none of the ad plugins for WordPress can insert ads in pages generated by auto scroll. Even when we use theme panel ads option or using ad block via cloud template the ads don’t appear in the auto scroll posts.
We want to show ads in content after every 3 paragraphs. We are currently using advanced ads plugin for this. The plugin works for all posts except the ones generated by auto scroll.
Please see below what the plugin author has to say about the auto scroll issue.
Developers of AJAX-loading plugins or themes should make sure that is_singular() and in_the_loop() return true in their content. You could add something like this to your loop:

Can you tell me how to do this? This will benefit everyone using newspaper theme as currently ads cannot be displayed in auto scroll posts.
