They look like the same size from your screenshot and they should be the same size as this is how the theme was built. It uses the same thumbnail size for all the posts inside a block element. if they really have different sizes, it means that you do not have the thumbnail activated from the block settings here:

If you did not regenerate your thumbnails after you switched to newspaper, then you should fo it now as the theme needs it’s thumbnail sizes to be created. Please follow this guide:

7)If you want to see any changes into your footer when you add some widgets in this section, you have to use Footer template style 5 because it is a custom template and you can customize it as you wish.

1)Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to change this duration, sorry! If you want to change it, you have to alter the code and this involves custom work. If you want to do this and you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

6)In this cases, I recommend you using Upscale Thumbnail & Regenerate Thumbnail because our theme does not enlarge the image if it is smaller than the thumb, but only crop it from center to top. Unfortunately our theme does not enlarge images. It only crops them and creates thumbnails for them. If you have smaller images than the containers you want them to fit in, you will have to use the thumbnail upscale plugin and then regenerate your thumbnails again.

Please try to disable all plugins except for visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then make sure you have all the thumbs selected and run the regenerate thumbnails again. Then , clear cache and reset cdn files again to ensure the settings apply. If you still cannot get them to display, please provide a link to your website so we can inspect it. If you run the regenerate thumbs, the theme will generate the thumbs you have selected here: http://screencast.com/t/PGy2YhzUJh1b in order to have the least amount of thumbnails, it’s best to asses the blocks and modules you use on your site and only check those thumbnails so the theme will not generate unused thumbs. (you have to regenerate after you change settings in the thumbs area)

Our theme uses a lot of predefined thumbnails in blocks and modules. If you check the Theme panel->Block settings area you can see the list with all dimensions of the thumbs wich is used in the theme and which elements -> blocks/modules uses -> http://screencast.com/t/tQuimSer9 If you want to exclude the cropping system wich you have to use the right dimension for your images.

Our theme uses the system of cropping from center to top. The theme uses thumbs to reduce the page size and speed up page loading time. From each image uploaded are generated thumbs for each thumb size used by the theme. Basically, when a post it’s displayed on the page in a block, the featured image displayed is not the one which you uploaded in the media file, it’s a thumb cropped from the original image at the precise dimension. To change the picture orientation most likely you will need a different cropping system. We use a WordPress function – add_image_size() – you can read about it here – https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/add_image_size – and here – http://www.davidtan.org/wordpress-hard-crop-vs-soft-crop-difference-comparison-example/
Our theme crop (cut) thumbnails in some cases to avoid creating a lot of thumbnails in order to reduce to load more spaces on the server.
If you don’t have the possibility to upload large images you could use a combination of plugins to upscale the thumbs – Thumbnail Upscale and Force Regenerate.

If you want to implement another cropping system for your theme and you are not aware to the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to do this for you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry! Usually, we recommend developers from studio.envato.com.
