Hi,

Maybe the server is inadequate for your website. I found some topics describing similar situations, but you could try and find more
https://serverfault.com/questions/646101/mysqld-bin-and-php-fpm-eating-up-all-my-cpu
https://community.bitnami.com/t/php-fpm-high-cpu-and-memory-usage-on-aws-lightsail/50842/2
https://forum.netgate.com/topic/101899/unholy-device-eats-100-cpu-php-fpm-by-accessing-captive-portal-like-hell/15

Also contact the hosting provider and ask their opinion in the matter. Be sure to check the theme requirements guide as well

Hello all,

That error you are getting is in most cases related to a plugin. Try as a quick test to deactivate all your plugins (except theme plugins), check if this solves the problem.

Also, make sure that the theme system status is configured as mentioned in the requirements guide. Please follow the guide carefully
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks.

Hi,

The first thing to try is to add the mod substitute code in the htaccess file
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
We have included this in the requirements guide at the bottom.

There is another suggestion you could try if that doesn’t solve the issue
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
This worked for some users which reported that the composer would not load.

Hello momenvy,

Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, ensure that your system status parameters are correctly increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Let us know how it goes!

Hi,

Have you set WP-Config ( https://www.screencast.com/t/m4D1fTd02r ) and Php.ini parameters ( https://www.screencast.com/t/udQcTRsNWq ), you need to set them all like in Requirements for Newspape

Try also to make this set: https://www.screencast.com/t/AMeQp05hZ

Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you Calin. The secondary images that you are describing are not ads so its not possible to use an ad unit here as the Amazon links are related to the specific product that the publisher is linking to. I will look for a work around to accomodate their needs.

However, see this example:

https://gayot.publisherdesk.com/drink/best-vodka-cocktails/

This seems to meet your requirements, but, the list is still not functioning as expected.

Thanks again for your help.

Hi,

From what I can see you use quite an old theme version (7.0). Consider updating the theme, using an almost 3 years old theme with the latest WordPress version or latest Woocommerce may cause problems.

In this page you can see the theme changelog over the years (bottom of the page)
https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609

This is an update guide if you decide to do it, please make a full backup of the website before proceeding
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Also review the updated theme requirements guide here

Hi,

So there is still a problem with the composer. You could try the solution mentioned in this topic, it worked for similar cases when the composer would not load
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/

Also could be caused by insufficient resources, this is a guide you can read
https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/
Setting a memory limit of 256M would be enough for most users.

In case the problem remains, you could try another suggestion. To eliminate a plugin being the cause, deactivate them all except theme plugins. Check if this has any effect.
Let us know the results after trying these suggestions.

Thanks

When I try to install the theme instaling goes to %20 then I get this error.
“This site cannot be reached
Reset connection.
Try the following:

Check your connection
Check proxy and firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_RESET”

I tried other themes and they work perfect.I check the Requirements for the theme and mines are ok.I wonder what the problem is.

Hello ALM2000,

Check the requirements of the theme to be increased according to our documentation, especially MBstring. Also, if the problem is still there, add the following code in .htaccess like this ->

Set up the below code in .htaccess!

<IfModule mod_substitute.c>
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
</IfModule>

Thanks.

Hello akshem,

Please check the System Status requirements to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ Clear all the caches and check the results.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

Could be caused by insufficient resources, there is a guide you can follow
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Check if anything needs to be increased.

Also try the same thing with all your plugins deactivated as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active. This will help identify if a plugin is responsible.

If there is still a problem, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login so we can take a look. Please include a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks

Hi Catalin,

Thank you for the quick response. We just double-checked all requirements, and we could confirm that we are using recommended setup for the Newspaper theme.

Now I will try to describe our problem again. Before updating the Newspaper theme, we had a “Custom” option under “Sort order” setting for Big Grid 2 block. That option allowed us to feature sponsored articles easily. After the update, we don’t see this option.

Is there any way we could get this option back without rolling back to the previous theme version. I am not sure we want to use an out-of-date theme.

Hi,

In order to resolve that problem please read this documentation carefully:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

You need to make some manually settings in order to get ride of that error, in above documentation you will get all you need to do with print screens.

Thank you for your understanding.

Catalin,
Thank you for your response. I have read those requirements, as well as been in conversation with Cloudflare support. For some reason, when I try to access the tag div composer for the home page, I receive a “522 Error”. Cloudflare’s support just recommended I change the SSL mode from “Flexible” to “Strict”. That caused the site to not work at all. So I have gone through toggling all of Cloudflare’s settings, as well as toggling on/off all website plugins, no luck. I cannot get the Tag Div Composer on the home page to work— I get the “522 Error” every time. I thought maybe someone in these forums may have experienced the same issue and could share the solution.
