Hello irfan.id,

1)Make sure that you have the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case.
2,3)Check your system status to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
4)Notice that if you want to manage the featured images which will be displayed when you share a post with Facebook you should use the Seo Yoast plugin, like this -> https://yoast.com/wordpress-seo/ Here is talking about an og:image.

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

Be sure to install the theme properly as a first step
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/
The most recommended and most reliable method is by FTP. Deactivate and remove all the plugins that belonged to the previous theme and install the ones from the Newspaper theme (tagDiv composer is requried).

Also be sure to check the theme requirements guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Let us know if there is still a problem.

Thanks

Hi,

A 404 errors would mean that the requested resources are not found on the server. The first one refers to a child theme and a font file it seems, try deactivating the child theme temporarily.
The second error is provided because a file is not found it seems. But the unusual thing is that there is no such file in the main theme folder. Maybe you made some modifications to the theme files, or file additions. Or maybe a plugin is doing it. You could investigate these first and check if there are still errors.

Deactivate the child theme, deactivate all non-theme plugins, remove theme modifications or code added in the theme files. Check if the errors are still present. Ultimately re-install the theme by FTP
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

If the errors are gone and there is still a problem review the theme requirements

Hi,

What exactly do you mean by not working? Some more details would be helpful. I see the homepage and post pages are displaying just fine at the moment
http://prntscr.com/jw5ky1
http://prntscr.com/jw5l3k

For a proper functionality make sure the theme requirements are met
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Insufficient resources can cause problems with the theme and theme plugins.

Maybe the hosting could take a look, especially if both of your websites use the same hosting provider. I have not seen this before as well, also online I found no similar issue.
The server should have the GD library extension enabled for image processing, you could check that as well
https://www.screencast.com/t/tL8Vc8H6
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
You could also try to regenerate the thumbnails and see what happens

Hello,
Maybe your previous theme had special requirements for the post images and now since you changed themes, these are no longer met. A featured image should still be possible to insert though.
Please contact us on our email address at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to your site and wp-admin (login information and admin rights) so we can login and investigate. Please also include a link to this conversation so we can identify you.

Thank you!

Hi,

I don’t quite understand what you are referring to, what are these buttons you mention and what you are highlighting.
The first step to take when something is not working as it should, is to deactivate all the plugins. Leave only theme plugins active, then check if the same thing happens.

Also be sure to check the theme requirements in the theme system status panel
https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/

Thanks

Hi,

Once activated the composer should be displayed as an option to edit all pages. You could check the theme system status panel
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Insufficient resources are the number one cause for theme or theme plugins issues.

Thanks

Hi,

I see you deactivated all the other plugins, so a plugin conflict is not the case. You could take a look at the theme system status panel
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Check if there is need for any modifications, if possible increase the WP-memory higher then the minimum recommended value. Check if this has any effect.
Also do a quick test with a different browser.

If there is still a problem, we could take a look. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login access. Also provide cPanel and FTP if possible. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks

Hi,

So the composer keeps loading and the editor window is no opening and tehre are also problems in the theme panel. Check the theme system status panel and this guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Insufficient resources can cause such problems with the composer and also with the theme panel. Increase them if necessary. Check after doing this and see if everything works properly. Let us know.

Thanks

Hi,

Sorry for misunderstanding. That message is displayed if you are not using theme version 8.8 or later, or if you use an incompatible version of PHP
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Use at least PHP 5.4 or greater and the theme versions I mentioned and there should be no problem

Hello,

This is a well known issue with WP and it does not seem to have any specific cause. If you google the “the plugin does not have a valid header” you will see that there are lots of topics opened on this issue but no solution provided.
The simplest course of action would be to just install the plugin via ftp.
Please also use this guide to make sure you meet the requirements for newspaper: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Thank you!

Hi,

I was implying in my previous post that I have already made all necessary changes based on requirements.
However, the ‘Newspaper system status’ still shows that max_execution_time & max_input_vars are not set to the recommended values.

Hi,

1. If none of the 7 big grid styles are according to your requirements
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-3/
Then the only option would be to use CSS code. I could try to give you a solution if possible, mention how exactly you want the grid to align that meta.

2. Only big grids have that effect, blocks and other elements do not have such a design.

3. There are some issues with the font settings for full big grids, I can give you a temporary fix for the font size if you should consider using it
https://www.screencast.com/t/qYWL1XNu

.td_block_big_grid_fl_3 .td-big-grid-post .entry-title {
font-size: 30px;
line-height: 38px;
}

Hi,

That means there is a problem. I would suggest to first check if there are sufficient resources for a proper functionality
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Check if the issue is solved if you make modifications in that matter.

If there is still a problem, does it happen for all the templates or for specific templates? Does it happen all the time?

Thanks

Hi,

You should increase the max-upload size, if that message is displayed then the theme zip is larger then your maximum allowed upload size
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper
Try it for yourself or contact your hosting provider and ask them to do it. Also check all the other theme requirements.

Thanks

Hi,

White screens could be solved by increasing the WP-memory to a higher value
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

If there is no need for modifications in that matter, in some cases the solutions from these topics worked for blank pages and other composer problems, you could give them a try if possible
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/

Let us know the results.

Thanks

Hi,

Sometimes the memory would still not be enough, if possible and allowed by your hosting provider try to increase it higher, also be sure to check the other parameters mentioned in the guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/

Also take a look at these topics, if there is still a problem try the solutions provided there, these solved problems for many users with composer trouble
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/td-composer-10/\
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/

If there is still a problem let us know, or mention the solution which worked in your case.

Thanks
