Thanks. I’m not sure what “have a 403 error displaying in the console” means; I see no errors. Can you expand? As to the other steps, it’s not clear what steps you’re talking about in the multiple links, each of which contains discussion of multiple items, none of which talk at all about the problem at hand. But all stated requirements for the theme are in place and there are none of the listed problem interferences. The problem is still there.

With right-click -> inspect -> console -> select the error in the tab network -> preview, you can see the cause.
Please ensure you don’t have mixed content errors; you can check the console. You have to use an SSL plugin to fix it and then try to activate it again -> https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/fix-mixed-content-wordpress/ -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/really-simple-ssl/

Yeah – Google tried to basically create solution for problem where many of us had solution from early days when Google didn’t sell ads — which was “print friendly” page. Then they added all these stupid requirements – oh, you can’t load jscript here, oh you can’t load a font, oh, you can’t blah. So glad it’s dead. The insult of being forced to use /AMP to “ensure” visiblity in search was one of the reasons Google has turned to evil.

Thank you, Bettina. WordPress is up to date and we have been using this theme for over four years now on the same installation so I don’t think it’s a PHP or version issue, we meet all the requirements. As far as direct access to PHP files, not sure what you are suggesting, that we should enable it, or disable it? The problem occurs whether we are using our child theme or the primary Newspaper theme, so we were able to rule out any code in the child theme’s functions.php file.

You are probably uploading the whole theme package. You have to upload only the theme zip file, not the whole package which contains other items

I just installed Newspaper theme an import the Default PRO demo
When im trying to edit the homepage show me this error: Error at zones: 6(models) : 4(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)

I was checking the forum and I see that it is a common error and I am worried about starting to design my site with this error. I have not installed any plugin that has not been imported from this Demo import, I have not added any information and I would like to have a solution to the problem. As you can see also in the screenshot below we meet the minimum requirements and even have many more resources on the server if needed more for the theme installation.
